The Mara amulet would be dead cute with a little wolf face looking out. Boethiah is definitely herm: breasts and sheath both. Malacath should have his stupid apron taken off and, as Kuroyami says, the MD statue needs major schlong action. There's no real reason, btw, why I couldn't do statues for the daedra that don't have them at their shrines. 

 

My idea about the furries is that for them clothes are for decoration and status (and protection in battle), not modesty. So their statues don't need to be careful about covering up the nether bits.

Your plans for statues and such sound really great! Please do keep us updated on it, if you don't mind. Can't wait to see how the new statues will look.

 

Your approach is the same one I have and I like, and I find it very fitting, since, well, obviously anthros are not humans, and "realisitically" speaking, you can't expect them to have the same mentality and social conventions. For example, most of them wouldn't need to wear clothing to fend off the cold, since they already have fur for that. On the other hand, clothing as a symbol of status sounds right, just like actual protecting armor (a fur coat will never stop a sword slash as well as metal plates do).

 

Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a vanilla gear replacer that fits with that premise, except for maybe a limited amount of SOS' Revealing armors (including your full own pack, I think you got it right). The remaining male armors and ALL female armor replacers focus on "showing as much skin as possible because sexy", while this approach will be more like "providing as much protection as possible while not getting in the way for comfort".

 

There is a notable difference there; for example, the first approach could mean a steel armor would consist of something like a steel chainmail bra and a short skirt with very visible panties underneath (I'm looking at you, Remodeled Armor  :dodgy: ), while I picture the second one having something like a chest piece of steel plating that protects vital organs, and maybe something like thigh plating or some chainmail in the arms as well, all of that while leaving the "nether regions" unobstructed for comfort (be it for biological private needs, or for some more "naughty" matters :P ).

 

Any thoughs on this?

I know exactly what you mean. One of my favorite pieces of armor in the SOS stuff is, I think the leather armor, its the one where its just a sash of bags across your chest and then some. I love it because it looks like something entirely purposeful with no thoughts on trying to make it modest. That and baddogs edit of the blacksmith apron to cover more of the front while still entirely revealing in the back so it still works as a blacksmith apron. 

it is hard to find something for the females tho, as most stuff is trying to be sexy while i'm looking for realistic but revealing. I'd imagine someone could makes something in bodyslide, but I can't for the life of me get it to work. I've been using armor replacer packages so I can pick and choose which ones I think look best and fits for what I am looking for. but again, most pieces are trying for more sexy than just immodest

In the vein of Blaze's post regarding armor usefulness in this:  Armor protection for Torso, joints, major muscles (thighs, arms, shoulders, neck (yay spiked collar?), heads, and maybe shin/ankle armor (difficult, yeah) but rather than leaving the genital area open, how difficult is it to put, say, a heavy leather loincloth hanging down to knee or mid-thigh?  

 

From a combat perspective, any covering for, let's face it, a VERY vulnerable spot would be beneficial and a little more real to the fact that social clothing would be 'revealing' as the custom; while combat clothing would be just that, easily removed for those biological needs, but still providing some protection.  Loincloths seem to be very lacking in a 'crazy barbarian'/tribal style that aren't just fuzzy underwear like the Conan clones.

 

Now, like a lot of people here, I know very very little about modding armor models and making new ones.  Would there be a way to adapt the Dragon Priest armor (which has a kind of armored loincloth) to make an item you can wear (and thus add some armor/make non-revealing) or attach to existing armor?

Some suggestions for the statues, if replacing more is desired. 

 

-Mehrunes Dagon: Honestly this is a thought I recently had when passing by the shrine. Even if the vanilla game does not do this, I really have to think that the daedric cults would not take modesty into account when building these statues. So no matter the race that is used to represent MD, the idea of having his schlong draping over the side of the door seems to make sense. Most likely using the uncut option. 

 

-Definitely if Boethia is done, the obvious idea of having options in terms of gender will be asked for. Though I don't mean to bring up such an issue in this thread, I'm only referring to Boethia's gender varying between games. 

I totally support this. The Lykaios-Talos statue helps a lot in making the world look like it is actually populated by furry/anthro races with lore and backstory and stuff, instead of just humans with swapped visuals. I mean, senseless/plotless furry sex is great and all, but there are times I want to actually have a history and lore and that kind of background while still playing anthro characters. The fact that said statue depicts Talos naked and with a very visible sheath schlong is not only fitting (he is a Lykaios now, after all) but also a nice sight to behold  ;) .

 

As for the suggestion itself, maybe once BadDog creates a female version of the Hoodies schlong, Boethiah can have a nice sheath added to her female shape  :P . In this case, it would be lore-fitting. As for Mehrunes Dagon, I think it would be best if he was replaced with a Panther/Dremora, since he is a lord of Oblivion and the Dremora and the actual Mehrunes NPC used for his voice is indeed a Dremora as well. IMO the only Aedra/Daedra that should be kept humanoid if all of them were to be furry-yfied would be Malacath, since he is basically an Orc.

 

Of course these are just random ideas, and there are a lot of things on the To Do list for this mod, but it would be great if it could be done sometime down the road.

 

 

I liked the change to Talos statue, very fitting to this mod. Tricky to do it for the other statue's, Azura is easy enough, she's represents the dark elves. But others like Nocturnal, Diabella, there's prob another I'm missing . . . who/What race would they represent. Nocturnal represents a faction/class, and Diabella - women. I guess it's all comes down to what would fit best

I do have the XPMSE addon installed, the 1.0 version from the Drive link. The Canine and Argonian skeletons each work fine(the Forsworn females at that location had no problems, and I updated the addon after having the same problem with female argonians and those are fine).

Yeah, I can confirm that. The skeleton files packed in the latest version of the XPMSE are not from XPMSE but rather from XP32. We'll have to wait until BadDog is able to upload a fixed version, but in the meantime you can fix it if yous still have the old version of the XPMSE, just overwrite the newer files with it.

Yeah, I am fully aware armor designs like the one I posted would have some flaws due to certain vulnerable body parts being exposed, but I was making a compromise between practicality and eye-candy.

 

I mean, a lot of people download and like Remodeled Armor, and it basically turns heavy armor into glorified bras and panties with miniskirts that not only would offer zero protection, but also wearing them into battle in any remotely realistic environment would be suicidal. Still, people like it because boobs.

 

I just wanted to make it a little more realistic (but still not realistic) while also taking into account the idea mentioned by BadDog about how furry characters would treat modesty and clothing in their "lore" (which as I mentioned, I also share). Thus, I came up with that idea, armor that actually offers some protection for vital organs and stuff, while still making some sacrifices for furry eye-candy.

 

Anyway, about that loincloth idea you mentioned, the game already has "skirt" bones that are supposed to simulate skirts having some gravity, or at least not moving alongside the leg in an unnatural way (If you have seen any armor with a skirt that wasn't properly weighted, you'll know what I mean). It shouldn't be that hard to "port" part of the dragon priest armor or create similar pieces from scratch. In fact, some custom armors do have them (the Iron Cuirass from Remodeled Armor does have a very small "loincloth" with the required bones, for example).

What with the skeletons? Bugger. Also the female high elves weren't using the digi skeleton at all. I'll look at that.


BTW so far as the outfits go I'll keep going. But it's possible to over-think this. The gaels went into battle nude, after all. Anyway, I'm not all that unhappy with the armor of the armor mods I'm using (Replacer Sexy Armor for girls and the stack I link to in the OP for guys), so I'm not likely to re-do them. (Well. Except that some stand rather far out from the body and others have buckles which would ... chafe ... against a sheath.) But I'll eventually do all the clothes.

You seem to be missing the Vaalsark .esp file even though you have the mod installed (or at least you have a mod called "Vaalsark" in your MO list). Try activating the .esp or reinstalling the mod if it is gone for some reason.

You seem to be missing the Vaalsark .esp file even though you have the mod installed (or at least you have a mod called "Vaalsark" in your MO list). Try activating the .esp or reinstalling the mod if it is gone for some reason.

 

 

Thanks for the help, I didint notice that, and it turned out that I hadn't setup the mod's "Data" Folder, which messed with the .esp I assume.

Both of the Revealing Armors were inverted in order, Thanks for pointing that out too.

 

I Greatly Appreciate what wonderful help you two shared, but for some reason one of the WhiteRun Guards had what seemed to be a human penis directly to the left once you enter the town area, It may have to do with me using "tmm 1" and teleporting there without having a guard unlock the entrance gates first, so its probably just unatural cause of that.

That is because you still have the SOS Smurf Average addon activated.

 

Default SOS schlongs are not meant to be used with this mod (there is a warning in the description about that), because they are set up with the idea that vanilla human races are indeed still humans instead of anthros, so they are assigned human schlongs with human textures and so on.

 

Just deactivate that .esp file and start a new game and you should be good to go.

I Greatly Appreciate what wonderful help you two shared, but for some reason one of the WhiteRun Guards had what seemed to be a human penis directly to the left once you enter the town area, It may have to do with me using "tmm 1" and teleporting there without having a guard unlock the entrance gates first, so its probably just unatural cause of that.

That is because you still have the SOS Smurf Average addon activated.

Well, not really true. I could use it w/o problems in form of CTDs (deactivated thou, annoyingly thick and BD SOS looks much better).

 

If CTD is appearing at the Bethesda Logo it is almost 99% of time load order or missing mods issue.

 

No offence thou, I am just suggesting that from my own experience.

The CTD thing was due to the Vaalsark plugin being missing, and that has been fixed already. BootySlugger was now asking about the bug with a human schlong being shown on a furry-yfied character, and that is caused by the Average addon which should have been deactivated as the description reads.

If you did implement Nightro's body, or at least his feet and hands, that would be legendary. Would take some nice amount of work, but hey, we can wait. Specially for a thing as awesome as that.

Lol, I wondered how long it would take for it to reach here. Although I don't plan to download this. I just gotta have humans too. It just wouldn't feel right. Best of luck if you do use my models Bad Dog. Feel free to morph the model into a position that works (via Blender, etc, to try and keep detail) if it's too difficult to keep as is. I suggest waiting until v1.1 to release sometime this week though.

Taking your paws and claws would not be hard, I think, and I have no emotional commitment to mine. Taking your legs might be more than I can do within the constraints of skeletons and animations.

Thats fine, you do a lot as it is. Maybe there is someone who can. All the downloads I've gotten and lack of comments make me wonder what their all doing with it. I don't suppose a new rigged and animated skeleton that I plan to put in UE4 would be compatible for Skyrim would it? That's on my to do list for the middle of December. I am not sure how Skyrim rigging and animations work. If so, I may just make an update with a rigged version and include the similar custom animations so someone can just port them over to Skyrim or their edited version of my body. I doubt it though. It would also mean no modded animation support for existing ones.

 

If you do not know. I can pop the question on my LoversLab file page and on the 2 Nexus file pages as a sticky. Is it possible to take the skeleton outside of NifScope for editing?

"1) If your trying to alter the Positions, Rotations or Scaling of any of the already present Nodes by altering them directly your wasting your time as the Animations will override ANY AND ALL changes you make.

Also, I've ran another new installation of Skyrim recently, and wanted to use this mod once again. Only problem I have is with the requirements. I am missing both masters "BDDigiFeet.esp" and "BDHoodieSchlong.esp". I've checked all files and requirements posted on the download page and neither of these we're mentioned.

 

I imagine the hoodie schlong .esp can be found here : http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/2356-bad-dogs-hoodie-schlongs-khajiit-argonians-humanelf/, but I have no idea where I can find the DigiFeet.esp

The BDDigiFeet.esp is from BadDog's Conpleat Khajiit, but neither of those should be a requirement anymore. Do you have the latest version, with "consolidated" in the name? You should use that one instead of the standalone version.
