Well after a few hours play with ww 1.70i I find the update is working quite well for me ( I don't have the School DLC).

I've re-enabled WW Window Peeping and Solo Autonomy and I have not received any ww gender orientation query exception errors yet (touch wood)  in the last few hours of play.

I can't get DD to work. Sims stuck with a +2 discomfort buff for wanting sex that won't go away even if he has sex. Can't seem to filter out the animations I don't want either. The intent looks good tho'.

Now what's wrong with WW 170i? I was going to try that one next.

To give the 'post puberty' trait you have to click on the teen Sim and select 'give wicked whim attribute'. Then pick the 'post puberty'. Otherwise even with 'inappropriate unlock' installed, they won't be able to engage in sexual activities with other Sims.

I get the same if I select to only add the trait to the single selected sim, but the trait does show if I go via the set All Sims options.

 

I didn't really need the trait as I don't have the School DLC (and probably never will)

My teen relation settings are as they were before 1.70i after using InappropriateUnlock with WW 1.70i without adding ww puberty trait

 

If only EA were as quick to fix their busted ass update as quick as TURBODRIVER and other TS4 mod authors have done.

Just shows how genuinely devoted these unpaid mod authors are compared to them damn company paid asshats.

170i is a joke. for years no one was interested if teenagers fuck their brains out. all of a sudden, of course, it's no longer possible. i laugh later in the basement.

yeh DD isnt the most user friendly mod its just cluttered munues tbh, dont think theres anything wrong with 170i per se but teen on teen interaction has been removed,but others has stated the WW unlock will fix that

until they break it again, 170h is still very much valid as 170i is only about teen changes

So the WW unlock fixes 170i? I suppose I can give that a try too.

Thinking of going back to Sims 3 and Kinky world. Less drama!

i tried DD last year was just too difficult to use it literally needs a manual lol and yeh apparently ww unlock works with 170i so if you can get that to work id stick with that tbh

I did as you just described, seeing if I could give my teenage sim the trait. No trait of that description was found however, and my teen sim was able to screw an adult sim anyway, so I'm not complaining!

Sorry I disagree, sure the 1.70i  update only lists those basic changes..

But under the hood in WW alot more code has changed then what has been said in the changelog.

Some of those under the hood changes are related to ww exception errors is my guess (you know the orange pop-up window telling you WW has had an exception).

 

TURBODRIVER has made more then 1 update to WW 1.70i since it's initial release. (undocumented in the change log on WW web page).

So trying to boycott updating really isn't going to help yourself get your game in order.

Also sends a shitty message to the mod author who works damn hard to give the TS4 community a pretty user friendly stable package.

 

Sure I may not see eye to eye with the mod author in some decissions but it doesn't mean I need to disrespect the mod authors hard efforts in current updates.

i finally updated it and it works no differently to me its exactly the same as 170h

For me 1.70i teen sexuality works the same as 1.70h did.

For me 1.70i no longer randomly pops up ww exception error for peeping tom and solo autonomy unlike 1.70h did.

In 1.70h I disabled winow peeping and solo autonomy to stop the ww exceptions.

 

For me 1.70i is more in line to working like what it was pre School DLC official patch.

Obviously excluding the teen sexuality setting removal, but since that's circumvented atm I'll stick with 1.70i till next EA hotfix update that fixes damn aging!

I would have preferred the feature to be kept and disabled by default. But, since that is not an option right now the mod is the next best thing. 

Also you can assign the needed trait to A LOT (if not all) teens at once with the Give Wicked Attribute to ALL sims and select "Teens" as target on the pop-up. I did not check how many sims you need to select but it is way faster than going one by one. Not perfect but better than nothing

*facepalm* It's just aggravating that I've waited for all the mods to update, only to see this new change.
Personally, I haven't involved teens in this, for years.  Then I decided that I wanted a few of them to have an immoral storyline.  Maybe one teen is a vampire with an evil trait, and part of her evil is using sex to manipulate men, as her stepping stone to world domination.  Maybe a Doll has 2 teen daughters.  One decides to become a sex addict because of the environment they were raised in, while the other one is turned off by the entire thing.  Maybe another one is rebellious, gets addicted to drugs, leaves home and decides to support themselves through prostitution.  Maybe there's a guy who's a Villainous Valentine.  His entire goal is to get with people and breakup with them.  Maybe he sees one family and decides he's going to knock up the wife, get her to leave her husband, then knock up her teen daughter in front of her because he's an evil son of a bitch.  

 

Like there's so much potential there.  Cheerleader gets knocked up and has to juggle being a mother and student.  Teacher knocks up a student and parent murders the teacher.  Teen steals their BFF's SO and gets caught.  

 

Yes, I've watched Euphoria, like someone else here, and one of the NPCs in the trailer actually looks like Kat Hernandez to me.  I feel that was intentional.  

 

I like the fact that Basemental Drugs doesn't apply morality to their mod.  Like you go to their website and you see that the mod author is actually very anti-drug and donates money towards that.  When playing with that mod, you can see that drugs aren't just fun, there's also the downside of addiction.  

 

We could have turned off sex in certain areas with those "no nudity" and "no sex" signs.  Or lot traits.  Easy peasy.

Lastly, I'm just going to reiterate what others have said.  Those sims are not prepubescent.  If anything, they could pass for 17-25, imo.

the point is that v170i doesn't allow any sexual relations with teenagers anymore. why is that? because TURBODRIVER decided so. the second point is that i absolutely don't understand this. for years nobody cared about teenagers having sex. i have all the content of sims 4, all the expansions, packs, sets, whatever. v170i forbids what v170h allowed if you have high school years installed.

You don't think at all what I wrote, do you?
I want to have a setting for the game to consider my teens as adults.
I also want to keep all teenage problems like hair and acne.
Turbo has made these two things mutually exclusive. This makes me crazy.

I will repeat again. I don't want to give this stupid trait to anyone. It's useless... no, it's bad shit for me.
I don't even need my teens to get into relationships with adults. I only wish that they could love each other. Since when do teenagers have to be puberty to do this? Even EA knows this is nonsense. But not Turbo.
