hmm trying to setup a rule for the new 2 npc and 1 creature animations but cant get it to work right.  anyone else got them to work with a rule correctly?

Do you have animations with 2 humans and 1 creature?

In case you do, then use one of the NPCs as target, the other has to be collaborator or source depending on how the animation is configured.

Put also a filter on the creature types to be sure to catch the right creature for the animation.

yeah i have the creature filtered. the rule triggers right but 1 of them dont get in the anitation. not sure if it playing right one ill check in more detail.
ive already tried with creature as source and didnt work. ill play with it more and see what i can get.

Simple question... Is this compatible with SSE or just Oldrim?  The short description right below the Download button doesn't say No but i'd like being sure about that before installling it. The mod sounds too much promising really to let it go.

Nobody ever did a real conversion.

But because it is just scripting, you may have luck.

I made a simple rule (aptly named "follower fuck") where the player can ask a follower for sex.

At first, some custom followers (and Lydia? why?) were excluded "because of their race", even though I never specified restrictions. That's ok, I added them manually as positives. So now, all my followers are successfully being detected, however, the player doesn't seem to register correctly for some reason.

In the debug log, I see that the player is successfully identified as source. But when it comes to playing the scene, the debug says "starting scene with [follower] and" (it just ends there. No player name) then, it looks for an animation with 1 participant. Even though the rule is explicitly for 2.

 

Also, some of my other rules where NPCs are supposed to take initiative never seem to actually start, even when the debug says all participants have been found?

it seems the problem isn't limited to that rule, and not the player, but the "source" participant.

 

here's an example with a rule, where the player initiates a threesome with a nearby female by talking to a male npc. The source (PC), target (NPC) and collaborator (follower) were all identified successfully but for whatever reason, when the scene is supposed to start, the source's name is missing and the search is performed for animations with 2 characters (which are obviously filtered out). Scene ends with the target saying the closing dialogue, and the player character was unresponsive inbetween.

it was actually kinda fun to debug, even though I didn't really get to see much sexiness as a result. Sorry for the spam, I was kinda "in the moment". A several hours long moment of spamming ctrl+f in notepad.

Sadly, I'm not experienced with modding tools. The messages don't tell me much besides "ya got blueballed".

guys, I'm having a problem with ssx, rules that involves player work perfectly, but the rules that only involves npc never starts

I have tried to use the save cleaner and reinstall ssx but it still doesn't work

in my case it was because the races somehow weren't being detected properly. I first circumvented it by specifying "race" to "everything except [...]" [insert something you'll never use, like vampire (unless you want vampires specifically. lol)]. But then that stopped working too, so I manually added the races of the npc's that I wanted.

Also, make sure the starting conditions are reasonable. After that, just give it some time (~1 minute) to initialise the actors, etc...

 

PS, I kinda solved my previous problem by setting the player as collaborator and NPC as target (no source). Seems to work so far, even if the notifications look a bit wonky. ("starting rule, target [npc] with [player] and nobody", or something along those lines)

in my experience it can often help to "force clean actors" in the debug tab in the menu, especially when you change location or after you clear a dungeon. Basically, when the NPCs surrounding you change drastically.

 

Once, I got a funny incident when I fast-travelled out of the college of winterhold to a bandit camp and a scene with one of the NPCs from the college happened. I nearly ran that poor AI soul through with my greatsword as she came strolling around the corner in the camp. Afterwards she just started casually walking back towards the college...

hello - i have version "H" w/Patch installed and have a simple male /female rule going but every time it starts the actors use the opposite gender roles. is it because i am using the EASY config? does the more advanced configs allow for that setting? thanks.

Yes, if you use more advanced settings you can set who will be the "passive role" inside a rule.

This will help to give to the correct participant the right position in the animation.
