What does this mod do if I play a male character

do NPCs comment on my female companions?

NPCs will probably mostly talk about your character as if they were female, the mod is designed with female characters in mind.  A female companion makes some comments herself, but NPCs won't talk about her specifically.

Question: can I edit the dialogue and delete parts in TES5edit without breaking the mod? The idea of guards/people making comments is interesting, I'm just not a fan of the direction of certain lines.

Not knowing this mods' intricacies and scripting going on in the background, changes are hard to gauge. Some here have already reported editing some lines with no issues, mostly to fix typos or a little clean-up, so that should be fine, the mod will "display line X", it likely doesn't care what that line actually says so you can have it say what you like.

Deleting though, pretty sure that gets tricky if you're not intricately familiar with the inner workings, if a line needs to be displayed before triggering some other section/continuance or leads to setting a flag/faction, that lines' deletion would quickly cause issues and probably break things, obviously ;)

Ultimately @JimmyJimJim would be the final authority on how much you can fold, spindle, or mutilate what he's put together here

Yes, you can. I have done so: editing and deleting dialogues that I didn't like. Basically this mod creates groups of dialogues and have several pools, so if you delete one dialogue from a particular pool nothing really breaks.

Sounds good, that means I can just adjust some of the dialogue and delete the rest.

Is it possible to take things one step further and delete entire pools? Or would that break the MCM menu that's in the game? I can probably just disable the pools I don't like in the MCM menu, but my OCD would prefer to just delete them from the mod.

Thank you two for answering btw.

Try it and see?  If you break the mod horribly you can just roll back to the original .esp.  I doubt many other people have tried to gut entire sections of the mod being as there is an MCM that disables them anyway.

This mod assumes you are female so a lot of comments won't really fit.

Feel free to hack away! Most of the standard NPC dialogue doesn't do anything other than display comments so deleting whole sections should not cause any issues. Just be aware that deleting a pool of comments makes it more likely to see generic dialogue.

The only one a wouldn't delete dialogue from is the rape comments as that could cause problems with terminating the scenes after Sexlab animations.

Have fun

Somehow I can't get the comments to change. I always get the same ones. Also when I turn of defiance and turn on nympho she still always makes hatefull comments towards bandits, trolls, prisons etc. I have had multiple skyrim installs but I never got it to work.

Are there any comments for when your character is covered with cum?

Yes there are - you can find them in TES5Edit if you look at the Sexlab keyword references for cum layers.  They are quite rare by default however, I edited the mod a bit to bump up their chance of showing and I still don't see them that often because they compete with other comments and the comments I get from Fill Her Up.  The easiest ones to see are for when you have cum on the players face - the other ones require you to be naked.

Quick question, I wanted to look through TESedit for a while now, but is there an easy way to search for keywords/phrases I'm looking for? I've just been kinda bumbling around trying to figure it out and the only search bars I can find seem spectacularly unhelpful for a noob ;-;

Phrases - not that I know of, but I've always just done spot editing/deleting in TES5Edit for mod compatibility or personal tweaking so I'd also consider myself a noob.  For this mod I'd normally just open up all the dialogue topics to find anything I was specifically looking for.

What I am referencing in that quote is that a Skyrim "keyword" or "global" variable used as a reference can be followed in TES5Edit to find where it is used.

For instance, to find the comments related to the character being covered in cum, you can look under Sexlab.esm->Keyword->SexLabOralCum (as one example).  With that keyword highlighted, you should see a Referenced By (##) tab on the bottom tabs, and that tab lists all the comments that that show up based on that keyword being active - you can even double-click to go directly to a specific comment to edit it.  You can do the same for a the global variable section in Sexist Guards itself and click on _SGLegCuffsGlobal for example to see all the comments that are related to wearing leg cuffs.

This mod is great. To me it became essential for playing Skyrim, I can't even think of it without this mod anymore.

The guards aren't sexist in my games though.

Is there a way to get only 4th wall breaking comments? I tried un-selecting "Player Dialogue" while keeping "Player Dialogue 4th Wall" selected, however that seemed to stop all player comments; even when using the speak key, changing locations, or waiting out the timer.

I don't think so, 4th wall comments are a sub-type of a bunch of different player dialogues (narrator/story/player ect).

I do think the mod author should add some priority system to the player comments. If my character is restrained and naked, she shouldn't be wondering about what snack to take on the next adventure.

I'm not sure if you are still working on this and not sure if this idea has already been pitched to you but ...

I think you should add comments/conversations between npcs that are sexist (that don't involve the player character) but occur when the player is near and within earshot. The comments/conversations could be about the player or just general sexist stuff. For example:

NPC A: I heard that she [as in the dragonborn] became a thane

NPC B: How do you think she managed that so quickly?

NPC A: I heard she just lay there and spread her legs for the jarl

Something short but sort of "bitching" about or males discrediting the player's achievements etc

Not sure if this would be hard to do but I think it'd be more immersive in creating a sexist environment around the player rather than just having people speak sexist-ly towards the player.

If you walk into any Tavern/Inn there's at least a couple of "overheard conversations" like those that trigger from the nearby NPCs, somewhat often actually

Random bits of discussion like "I saw her walking around in her skimpy armor thinking she's an adventurer" and "all it takes is two bottles of Honningbrew Mead to get her to spread her legs!" kinda stuff... wouldn't mind the frequency of those being reduced a bit really, in crowded places they tend to overlap quite often

I personally think my favorite bar lines are the "overheard responses" from the females, such as "No, I won't show them to you!".

I guess maybe you missed part of what I said?

""   but sort of "bitching" about or males discrediting the player's achievements   ""

It'd be good if the comments etc could evolve as the player progresses in game.

Well, you can open the mod on creation kit, check some of the dialogues, edit to your taste like "Is that milkdrinker the new Thane?, surely is the Jarl's new personal slut" and add the quest stage condition. For example, after player has completed Dragon Rising and is named Thane, you could set a dialogue to appear only if quest MQ104  stage is at 160

Is this mod still being developed?

I'm thinking of some ideas, however my modding abilities are quite limited so not sure how easy/hard would be to implement:

Random approaches inside INNs:

If Player is inside an Inn, check for NPC males with relationship neutral or lower and morality low

Trigger a random approach (like Working girl MOD, or a courier event) from NPC.

NPC asks Player "Hey wench, how much for letting me use that sweet body of yours?"

      Player dialogue options open:

a  (Persuade) - Sorry, I'm not for sale.. please stop bothering me

IF Persuade success, NPC replies: "Bah, I wasn't really in the mood anyway"

                                       END event

                                   else

NPC Replies: "Woman, you dare to say NO to a man?"

                                         Trigger a Brawl

b  - What do you have in mind?

<List of several option that trigger a sexlab scene>

                      c (Intimidate) - I won't repeat this.. hands off!!

IF Intimidation success, NPC replies: "Ok", Ok!, no need to get angry. Is not worth the trouble

                                          END event

                                     else

NPC Replies: "I won't take that from a Woman!"

                                         Trigger a Brawl

IF player wins the brawl, the event ends, and PC can be left alone for a certain period of time

If NPC wins the brawl, a sexlab aggressive animation is triggered.

Now, I know a brawl is buggy and can turn into a real fight, but in this case that would be immersive as the males in the Inn could gang against the dragonbron for being a Woman trying to "fight" and in that case a mod like Defeat can take care of things. Also, if a bounty is added to PC, then a mod like Prison overhaul can fit in too.

Random approaches inside INNs:

Sounds like a cool scenario that would fit well with the mod.  I think I would suggest a few changes to make it a bit less likely to cause issues:

I wouldn't restrict the action with morality, as every male npc in an inn acts sexist, and some inns may not have low morality npcs.  Also, I'd replace the brawls with either a bounty (as the guards are especially sexist) or a second easier intimidate check that triggers a aggressive animation if failed.

Mostly I feel brawls should be avoided as often as possible, especially since if they are unexpected and turn into real fights an npc could easily die if you have a follower or two.  Some people really hate having characters die outside of their control (self included).

The author defiantly still had some stuff in the works like bringing back the guard strip search.  Doesn't mean they aren't tired of modding Skyrim and have other interests or games, but this mod has gone a long time between updates before.  Luckily I find it irreplaceable as is.
