I check the newest 0.75 version, only followers use DD comments, where's other NPCs' DD comments?

I like the new tricks! I toggled off fourth wall and now I just get occasional notices "player comment scene is starting" but no actual comment. All the npc's are happy to make comments, though. I do have fuz and even turned on subtitles.

Same for me too i notice when you're completely still you can sometimes see it before it goes away.

I finally installed, already love that you can toggle all options! But as i think other reported already, Player comment/4th wall comment don't seem to work? I only get message "4th wall scene started/Player scene start" or something like, but no real commentary

weirdly the problem persisted without the esp active, but it was the only thing I changed, hmm, I'll look into it some more

Darn it! Can you try toggling the comments off then on again...this should restart the quests as I did make some changes that might need a restart.

There are Guard and NPC Devious Device comments in there, but the are competing with all the other comments so they may not appear very often...but they're definitely there

There is one possible fix - on a previous version I forgot to tick the "Allow Repeated Stages" tick box for the quests which means it will only show the comments once.

To fix this you need to stop and restart the quests to get Skyrim to pickup that it can repeat scenes. All you need to do is go into the MCM toggle off both Player Comments exit back to Skyrim then go back into the MCM and toggle them on again.

Hopefully that should fix the issue as it seems to be working OK for me.

UPDATE

I did find an issue with some of the 4th Wall comments not being correctly assigned to a speaker, but that only effected 4th Wall Naked in an Inn comments.

I've just tested walking around an inn naked to see if the comments trigger and everything worked fine. The dialogue was displayed even as I was moving.

I've decreased the comment timing to 0 to 60 minutes of in game time while I test everything out and uploaded a new version. Again, I'd recommend stopping and starting the comments so the quests refresh and pick up the new settings.

For what it's worth, I hope that you either avoid breaking the fourth wall or make it completely optional. Really great mod but I don't think that awareness would at all fit with the rest of the game or other mods.

The question is, should your player character be aware that you are controlling them, or does that break immersion. Do you want your player chararcter saying, for example...

That's even more bizarre. Just wondering do you have all the expansions for Skyrim?

Yes I do have them all, I tried a new game and it seemed to work correctly in the first alternate start room I haven't done any other extensive testing after that, maybe it just work on new games i'll let you know what I find out further testing etc.

RIght now I am playing with alot of mods this playthrough is basically testing out a bunch of mods to see if I want them in my regular playthrough and if they're stable so it could possible be script lag idk though.

Also I don't know if its possible but here is a suggestion when I talk to 1 NPC he will say one of your comments but then i'll talk to him again and he says another comment can you make it so for each NPC during dialogue comments it triggers 1 time every hour in game? Because sometimes I like to hear there beginning dialogue.

To replicate the conditions in my game:

start a new game through alternate start select "I own a property in one of these holds" select "breezehome" and test if the comments work in your game with clothes on and without.

I chose a highelf character.

Yes TESV-Translator Load ESP/ESM it will show all dialogue on the 3rd tab which is I think ILSTRINGS it has a filter so you can find the ones you don't want, you can only edit with this program not add your own meaning you can change what is already there.

Ah ha! The reason they are not working is that you're in a location that currently doesn't have any comments assigned to it

To get this mod working I've had to be very strict with the criteria that will trigger the various stages in a scene. At the moment these are the criteria that have to be met for each type of comment...

Inside & Location Is A Draugr Crypt

Inside & Location Is An Inn

Not Inside & Location Is A City

So being inside Breezehome would not trigger any dialogue but you would still get the Debug messages saying the scene starts etc.

There seems to be inconsistency between player comment and 4th wall player comment. 4th wall player comments seems more reliable.

I tested it out in Ivarstead with a new game since there's an inn and a barrow right across from each other. (Alternate start, Inn start, Vilemyr)

4th wall comments pretty much catch on to location and will play without much issue as soon as it is on.

Non 4th wall player comments need a kick from the MCM menu every now and then. Staying in the same area usually works, but going into a new area seems to cause the comments to stop despite the update on the top of the screen.

Also is there really no "generic" regular player comment if PC is outdoor and naked and not in a city? I think they exist for 4th wall breaking set.

Follow up on follower naked comments, I am fairly sure they aren't triggering. Only tried on female followers. Have only seen the standard, stay close to me, draugr dungeon are dangerous, don't cross me, lines. I rig up a little cheat mod that set hirelingcommentnextallow to a very low number (0.02), so follower talks pretty frequently and not once have I seen any line that address PC or the follower being naked. Despite having both characters naked. The location related lines do seems to be playing in Inn and dungeon.

As for additional lines it seems like there could be some cross over between female follower and player character with the right wording.

Some of the 4th wall ones seems like it could work in non-4th wall context as well.

I feel like the more "tough" follower lines should only be available if she is not naked

suggestion, if you want to start getting overly complex

comments that hook into needs mods so the player complains about being hungry, thirsty, and tired. Also, could connect to Aroused to mention being horny.

I think this mod is an awesome idea. I'd love to see it go further: more comments, customisability in the MCM and maybe eventually these strip searches being talked about (both in public and private)? And if strip searches are a possibility, maybe these could go even further if no-one is around the strip-searches get a lot more 'hands-on'? Of course I know this kinda stuff is AGES of happening, but its nice to dream.
