Possibly you are not following/not aware of the golden rule and your save has become a little corrupt? Not saying this is most likely but best to rule that out first.

If you never did the thief guild quest, you wouldn't know. There is a whole at the end of the dungeon, jump in that hole.

Can anyone explain me what the melting is supposed to do?

 

I am a bit uncertain whether it works as intended here... I see the curiass (being in training) go transparent. But something should be disappearing or getting unequipped, right?

When a melting device reaches melting point (arousal amount as set in the MCM Arousal tab), the device turns semi-transparent, and any armor/clothing equipped in your body slot (32) will eventually fall off (stays in your inventory). You can re-equip but it will fall off again in a few seconds or sometimes a minute. This removal can disabled in MCM.

And the body armor will fall off, no matter which item melted, right?

I tried to get a port to SE to work and noticed the following things:

1. the game has CTD whenever conversations from the quests are supposed to happen (including the virgin messager to start it all)

2. with a ported DD version I experience no issues at all with limitations of movements

3. the SL beta port actually couples and registers loss of virginity perfectly well

4. the game CTD whenever I enter a cell that has been made in this mod

5. the dragon skull that initiates rebirth isnt spawned in. but you can still worship the shrine, get teleported and have a CTD upon arrival in an unkown cell (if you could tell me which one it is I can try to warp into it with coc command).

 

I hope this can help you getting the mod propperly ported over to SE. the issue doesnt lie with DD but more with the conversations/forced character interactions.

 

also side note:  the bedeviled spitroast works wonderfull with the movetoqt command after starting it with a setstage. animation works perfect and the red crispyness shows as well

I won't port until an official version of DD reaches at least Beta. No known plan for DD to do that.

Some thoughts i just had while reading some pages back (bibocous suggestions), rather random and not connected to anything special.

Advantages for getting DibellaExp (or whatever) could be to be naked, aside from beeing not a virgin. The obvious option might be to get armor/damage resistance but there already are a couple of mods that do that. What would be rather exclusive is that enemies 

- get distracted and drop their weapon

- get calmed (not long, just a few seconds, but with higher abilities with a chance to forcegreet and ask for sex, dancing, punishment?) A "no" will make them hostile again, a yes may leave them calmed)

I like the drop weapon upon distraction idea. It was suggested long ago but I had forgotten so thanks for getting this back in my wish list. I considered it for an effect of the Dibella Harness, but ended up using the "enemy stops and worships you" thing. I will likely work in weapon drop somewhere, sometime.

is there a restriction on wearing either the dibella harness or nocturnals robes? if not, might i recomend that there be one on each. if you are a virgin you cant wear dibella's harness. and if you are not a virgin you cant wear nocturnal's robes. both can be in your inventory after recieving them but require that you are either a virgin to wear nocturnals robes or not a virgin to wear dibella's harness.

I had thought of that but chose not to. The other way it could work is that you can wear them anytime, but their benefits only apply as...

• non-virgin: The robe's high armor is not present
• virgin: The harness "compel people to worship" is not present

I'd need either approach to be optional in MCM as I really don't want to nerf once already out there

I am at the point in the main quest where I can go back to Nocturnal to be reborn, but Dibella‘s voice has told me not to do anything that Nocturnal sais.

 

How can I live a life as a non-virgin, for example under Dibella‘s reign? I am afraid I will not be able to go on without having to report in and getting punished all the time. You wrote about a choice - HOW do I choose Dibella?

Or can I not choose before I went through all the quests?

You need to be punished and rebirthed, in order to progress through all the quests. This is because Nocturnal and Dibella are both involved in completing parts (they are playing off each other). Nothing stopping you from losing virginity promptly after rebirth though.

 

After the main story parts are complete (details), you could turn off "reporting in". Can do this anytime but if main story has not completed you will have placed that on hold).

i went and read the faq, but didnt see  the answer i was looking for so i will ask here. with reguards to the interactions with nocturnal, is the DB considered/implied to be submissive to nocturnal?

 

if yes, might i make a suggestion. after helping save cassia, would it be possible, in the future if you dont have plans for it atm, to address nocturnal as mistress?

 

reason i asked this is that, if i remember right, you agree to server her willingly, for cassia's freedom and i feel that at that point the player becomes submissive to nocturnal.

The Dark Brotherhood do not revere Nocturnal, the thieves guild do.  The Dark Brotherhood worship Sithis who is a whole different story.

Nocturnal attempts to make the Dragonborn submissive. As the player you can resist, or not, but you will also be torn between Nocturnal and Dibella thus end up switching between virgin and non-virgin. If you try to stay in either state, you wont be able to complete the main story. But after completing you could remain in one state if you use MCM to turn "reporting in" off. By default, you will be forever in a cycle of losing and regaining virginity.

 

When you save Cassia, you only agree to disable the dwermer devices to stop draining Nocturnal's powers. This could occur, before the main story has ended, thus you may "need" to serve Dibella again.

Yes for sure, but as explained immediately above, you will be switching between both in order to complete the main story.

 

Nocturnal provides all but 2 of the devices. Dibella does not ever force you to wear her's, nor does Nocturnal when you are not in "virgin training" (which can be about half the time, and not at all if you eventually turn off the "reporting in").

 

In one case a Dibella device key is taken by Nocturnal and Nocturnal locks you into it until you complete a quest. If doing a quest for Dibella, you can still wear devices from Nocturnal, and this is what Nocturnal wants you to do.

 

So in other words, you could choose to always wear devices if you want to. Completing the main story gives access to more devices as you go.

i know one of the devices is the charus one, is the other dibellas harness? or is it the piercings?
