Yes, Steam is currently the ONLY legitimate source for SKSE. What Pfiffy just told you about load order is what I was saying a few responses back. Despite our brief exchange you should know that Pfiffy, like fred200, is an excellent source of information. Now, back to the problem at hand. Assuming that you have changed your load order as I suggested above (with all the esms before the esps) when you launch Skyrim from Steam you should now have an option for launching SKSE (if it has been properly loaded). When you launch Skyrim from now on you will need to launch SKSE. The reason for this is that if you use the vanilla launcher it will ignore SKSE. If it ignores SKSE everything that depends on it will not work. So, are you doing this now?

One of my friends here on LL was reminiscing about how he remembered when I was the one asking all the questions. It's turnabout is fair play for me. Besides, Paradise Halls is why I came to LL too. I used to play the old Nexus version until it became unsupported. After years of following it on Nexus some kind soul put that the current version could be found on LL. So, here I am. This particular mod is why I am here and it is almost always in my load order.Â

If you launch the game via Steam you have to take a close look at the load order, because you don't get any message about mods overwriting each other. Make sure, that the Skeleton is at the very end of the load order. You should also try to sort the mods by what they do. Tools high, Beautifiers and Fashion low. But the skeleton always last. Make sure it is installed and activated.

By George I think he's got it! Now you can add back a few of your other mods at a time. Use the Mod Manager. Run LOOT and FNIS every time you make changes. When you start loading mods that require Bodyslide you'll want to run that also. Do not add (or delete) mods after starting any of the main quest lines (other than THE main quest, and once you go to Bleak Falls Barrow you're also done with changing mods). If you have any other questions specific to PAHE feel free to put them here. If you want general support feel free to contact me on my profile (which you can access by clicking on my non-existent avatar; the one that looks just like yours). You can leave me questions or concerns where it says leave a PUBLIC message for Psalam. Good hunting! (Hope that actually pans out this time).

Okay, I double checked and I'm 90% certain that that is the correct link and it should have an esp. If you downloaded it before the NMM you should probably try downloading it again. Within the hour I should have access to the computer that my game is on and I will then be 100% certain. Once you have the esp don't worry too much about the load order. With a small load order LOOT will take care of it but as I mentioned with PAHE itself sometimes you have to move things around. Finally, Pfiffy's general advice about load order should be taken to heart although the latest version of LOOT does seem to do that for me.

The problem with loot is, that it can only hande things right, that it knows and it is the nature of this, that it is always far behind development. You always have to adjust things by yourself. Sometimes it scatters mods that belong together all over the mod list... putting SLAL packs over SLAL and such stuff. I wouldn't call it bad, but it is not perfect.
alphagodith Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 the key thing for me i think is that you can't fix the load order AFTER starting a new game, you have to have it all set up right BEFORE you start a new game, or it won't work no matter what.

Okay so the 10% wins. While it is also on Nexus the skeleton you want is here on LL. Go to the search engine on the top right of the page and type in XPMSE. When the drop down box appears select "files" or if that doesn't appear select "more topics" and then "files". Click the magnifying glass to search and you will find a list with the proper skeleton by Groovetama near the top. This is the one you want to download. Now that you have NMM installed once you download it (make sure you get the version for vanilla Skyrim not SE) you will find on the mods page a green plus sign near the top on the left. Roll your cursor over that and you will see an option to "add mod from file." Press on that option and your downloads should appear. Click on XPSME and wait for it to load (it will appear in the "unassigned" category). With the file highlighted click on the green checkbox to activate it. Now when you switch to the plugins page you should have an esp. I'm sorry I misled you earlier. My memory failed me. Next thing you should know is that when you next run FNIS you SHOULD get a warning. It will tell you that you need to click the skeleton arm fix (2-3 boxes down on FNIS). You SHOULD click that box. It will prevent a lot of CTDs (crash-to-desktop).

So we don't have to do this again....Â

Yes and no. Up to a certain point (as mentioned above) you can change load order with impunity. However, there comes a time when making changes will cause your game to start "bugging out" which eventually leads to CTDs. It is best to decide all your mods and your load order BEFORE you actually start playing. On the other hand, as you point out, if you get it too far wrong at the beginning it won't work at all. And Pfiffy (who, although he doesn't like to hear it because he gets embarrassed, is smarter than most of us-at least as far as modding is concerned) is just preparing you for when you are using LOTS of mods. He is absolutely right about LOOT but that is something for you to stick in the back of your head for later. Right now, with relatively few mods, you should be able to absolutely count on LOOT.

kadsend Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 Is this mod working alright whit the newest ZAZ 8.0+? And is someone else having trouble when SoS male slaves pose or get restrained weird underwear cover their..."delicates"? Im using ZAZ 8.0 and started FNIS thousands of times to fix it but whit no use at all... Â

alphagodith Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 just for funzies, i tried out an old save with the functioning load order. it seemed to work, strangely enough. this save was from back when i was using layam's version. the slaves in my basement seemed to have been 'freed' by the switch, so i re-enslaved them, but i ran into two errors. i figure this is cuzza the old save being broken, but also figured i'd mention 'em here in case it's NOT cuz it's an old save, and it's something folks know about and can help with. first thing was that there were 7 people in my basement(lakeview manor), all named, not just random bandits. all but 1 i managed to re-enslave with the new system. not sure why drahhf didn't work out, but the option 'enslave health' had turned into 'enslave slave' at some point during the process, and clicking it wouldn't do anything. so i killed him and just had 6 slaves. moving in and out of the basement of my house however, 2 of my slaves just... voiped out of existence. i saw the slave counter tick down when i moved from one cell to another, no death message, corpse, or anything. somebody might've been trying to run away when i transitioned from one room to the other, and that did something... maybe. happened to umana and somebody else, can't remember. Â and just a comment in general for the mod, i dunno how others feel about it, but i'd kinda like my slaves to still openly hate me, even fully trained, and just be bare-minimum respectful. like i don't tolerate them bad-mouthing me, but when they say stuff like 'live long and prosper' to me i'm like... are you messed up in the head? i was beating you five minutes ago!

I warned you that the old version and its plug-ins didn't work with PAHE. While they act similarly they are different enough that you get weird things happening when you try to mix them up. It is difficult to get slaves to behave in the manner that you prefer but not impossible. While submission is the key to keeping them from running away, respect is the key to getting them to "talk nice". So you have to punish your slave randomly to get their submission up and NOT punish them when they mouth off. That should get you the behavior that you are looking for. You can probably help yourself with that by going to the MCM menu and lowering the submission required to keep a slave from running away to its minimum (20). That should keep you from accidentally increasing their respect up to "yes massa" levels.?
