Paradise Halls - Home Sweet Home (SE/LE)

Heh I wasn't planning to include them all in the placer! But current HSH + ZAP 8, the placer will only offer you a really basic set and/or choices that don't work at all. I want to at least offer the selection HSH had with TUFP. Anything more elaborate probably deserves its own mod.

Phew...  I was afraid we wouldn't see you for the next 5 years while you script all that!

Yea I like the way you did it before =)    The hanging gibbets were just about perfect and the wall stuff you put in there made it a LOT easier to place them once you figure out the distances.  I'm finding that I really miss having the tool especially for the wall mounted items.  And I can't for the life of me figure out how to replicate the gibbets hanging from a chain.  The ones where they change poses once in a while were really neat.  Not sure which they were, the low hanging i think.

Could you make it possible for the slaves generated for the auctions at the Restless Hunter to also spawn as males instead of just females? A randomization factor or an option to spawn a specific gender would be great.

I will add some males when I have time :)

Posting version 1.12! This adds compatibility with ZAP 8.0.

You can continue to use ZAP 7.0, optionally with TFP and/or ZEP

EDIT: Forgot to mention, if you switch(ed) to ZAP 8.0, go into MCM, Home Sweet Home, Info page.  Make sure ZAP 8.0 is detected, then click the line that says "Reset dependencies"

You rock!

I greatly appreciate the work you do on this mod, I will compose a sonnet in your honour (scored for the slave-scream organ, in ARRRGGGGHHH-flat).

Hey guys i have an idea for this mod. Would it be possible to tell your slaves to crawl around on all fours? I mean i read somewhere that you should be able to make them sneak all the time so you just have to replace some animations and there are plenty already out there.

This should only be an option obviously if their position skill is like 100 or something like that.

The only downside to that is that every other npc in the world will also use those animations because they are assigned as sneaking animations so maybe it's not that handy but it could be atleast a start.

I think there is a pony harness in zep, IIRC that does this.   I suppose you could do it through a dialogue too.. but you can effectively do it now by making the slave wear the harness.

Really! :astonished: Tht's awesome!...Btw what's zep? I thought i basically saw every mod on the loverslab, for skyrim atleast. (i'm not sure i should be proud of that fact. hmmm...)

edit: on a side note. Do you guys also have problems with the new loverslab layout? The carbon theme goes into infinity when i try to read posts and the movies are ginormous. But the white theme, that i'm using right now, have some image errors (the blank paper with a cross on it icon). Maybe it's because i'm still using internet explorer or something?

This is a super cool mod. Thanks for working on it!

I have a wee bit of a problem though. The furniture removal spell doesn't work. There's a poof of fire when you aim it at a placed piece of furniture and nothing else happens. I'm using ZAP 8 if that makes any difference. Will switching back to ZAP 7 fix it?

Go into the MCM menu for Home Sweet Home, go to Info / Settings and click "Reset dependencies". Wait until you get a popup telling you it's done. Then try to remove the furniture again. That will fix the dependency on Zap 8. Save your game and that's it!

Yes.. use chrome or firefox.  IE is meh.

Zep is zaz extension pack https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/3398-zazextensionpack/

Pony harness is displayed in fourth image.

I tried it, saved the game, reloaded, restarted skyrim, reloaded. Nope, the spell still doesn't work. I'd like to clarify that I had ZAP 8 installed from the beginning on this save.

The slaves also do not use the devices when using the 'let's get you into one of these devices' or 'i need you to do something for me' commands.

Also, I noticed that when you cast the removal spell, a sort of friction, or maybe arrow sound plays, and keeps repeating until you holster your spells.

When clicking the "Reset Dependencies" button, the dialog informs me it's going to take a minute. However, for me it's instantaneous. That means that either the dialog is wrong, my computer is really fast, or something hasn't gone as expected and nothing was processed.

Hm... If it's instantaneous, there is something wrong, it should at least take 10-30 seconds. Somehow it's not picking up the ZAP 8 furniture list. Do you have the latest version of ZAP 8 installed? Only the most recent one had the furniture list built in.

neat, now to find a home mod to turn into a slave den.  needs plenty of floor space for milking stations... any suggestions?

Most of the stuff LD5036 has is good, because it is hearthfire enabled... and therefore lacking of interior furniture when you first begin.  This lets you pick and choose which furniture to clutter it with and leaves plenty of space for your own stuff.

The Scarlett: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71106/?   Has its own ship and port.  The ship itself is pretty large and you can relocate it to any port along the coast, with convenient canoes used to travel on waterways.

Skyfall: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/66299/?  Located pretty centrally right next to whiterun with a massive basement addition as well.  2 massive homes in one.  Slaves sometimes take extra time to path in certain areas though. I find the bottom floor of the main home to be the best.  I placed the main cell at the back of the large guest room.  It works well there.  Alternatively you can use the alchemy room next to the blacksmith.  The smithy is a great place for furniture as well.  The basement can be pretty neat, but I had trouble with some of the pathing in some sections.  I placed another cell just adjacent to the shower bath area and that seemed to work ok.

Blackthorn: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65839/? Located in the rift forests not far from pardo...  Its an entire town you can build with multiple buildings that are quite large.   If you locate the permanent exterior camp just outside the inn to the right of it when facing it, you can cover most of the town cell with HSH enabled furniture as well.   The cell will not include the trader shop and guard house though unless you locate it closer to those.   But then you lose most of the rest of the town.  This one is really big.  The inn, manor, guard house, and guest mansion are all good choices.  I have yet to build some of the other buildings though. I also avoided hiring guards in case they might get aggressive with the slaves, but I have not tested it.

Silverstead: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61483/? Dwemer home very close to markarth.   This is yet another large town.. but I have not completely built it yet.. the inn itself seemed large enough for a good system.

I have not used the others.. but these are the ones I have had good experiences with.  So I am sure they would be good choices as well.

They all have a hidden button in the main homes that let you toggle on a cheat chest with all the materials you need to build all the extras.  Or you can be adventurous and build them over time by collecting all the stuff.

Andragon's underground bathhouse and paradise valley is quite good as well:  https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/27361/?

But it can be pretty harsh unless you have a good system to run it. It comes with a lot of laying down lean markers, shower lean markers.. etc.   Although these will mess with your slaves clothing state... they get naked when they use these. (warning overrites some zaz content.. need to install zaz after this..  Koffii just reminded me of that issue I had - see below -)

Yes, downloaded Zap 8 just a couple days ago. The file is dated november 19th.

I ran into a similar issue once, when I noticed using some mods (such as andragons underground bathhouse) actually overwrite zap assets.  Maybe check to make sure nothing has overridden the ZAZ furniture files.  Also try a new game and see if you still run into the same issue.  Maybe try additem for adding the house token so you can test it quickly.

Hit the Reset Dependencies button again, then check your log. It should say "Adding x forms from ZAP", with x being a number. If the entry isn't there, HSH can't find the ZAP furniture list.

Hey, thanks. yeah i had zep already installed but since there is no way to actually buy or craft these items i just didn't come accross them. the pony suit does work except for some of the idles that both the follower and pah uses. (i believe it's the crossed arms and another i don't know about). Maybe it's because everyone uses these idles? Also thanks for the suggstions. I'm gonna stay from silverstead for a while since i kinda overdwemered a bit. Gotta detox from time to time from all the dwemer mods. XD

Also a sidenote about silverstead manor. Maybe it's because of my systems specs but whatever you do DO NOT build the interior waterfall! For some reason it can really lag stuff out once you start adding slaves in there.

Blackthorn sounds like a good dark vampire place. Well, unless the name eludes me ofcourse. I'm gonna try for that next.

Btw i have started using RDO a couple of days ago. I must say the need to enslave everyone in the area around me has decreased considerably because of it lol. Everyone is just too kind now. XD

edit: Yup, the name Blackthorn eluded me. XD It doesn't look like what i thought it would look like at all. XD

While this first paragraph is otherwise irrelevant I want to say how much I have enjoyed HSH. I am not a modder and can only imagine how much work goes into such a thing. In addition, I am grateful for the changes that were inserted to allow more functions for the "vanilla" PAHE slaves.

However, I find that I have had the same problems that slave storage manager has had. Since I am not a modder (as previously mentioned) I do not know how to follow your instructions on checking my log. I do believe that it is irrelevant though and this is why. First,, I can see all the new Zaz 8 equipment, in fact the place torture device spell works perfectly. Second, these items take up space - my player and (and my housecarl and my steward) all have to walk around them. Third, I can place myself (my character) in the torture devices.

Despite this I also can not eliminate them with the remove torture device spell (Sidfu's temperamental spell notwithstanding I believe that I have tried every square millimeter of the body gibbet and some areas around it without success). When I tell a slave that "I am going to tie you up" and "let's get you into one of these toys" they look like they are genuinely trying (moving in the right direction, shuffling feet, etc.) but can not interact with them. Finally when I try "you are going to do something for me" and ask them to use the devices I have found that they can not use the newer ones (in my case I tried body gibbet and slave pole) but she could use the pillory.

This make me believe that the problem is not in the furniture but in something with how HSH handles how the slaves (and the remove spell) handle the new furniture.

I hope this helps in ironing out whatever bug this is. And I know that there is probably nothing you can do about it but I miss the chandelier.

By the way, the multiplying house cell tokens bug appears to be back. I just restarted my game after the above post and found that my three tokens had multiplied to 24. I know this has been corrected in the past but wanted to mention it in case it had any relevance to my previous post.
