kloro Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 but the guards have an annoying habit of going hostile to slaves. i haven't personally seen this, but if you'd like to look into it for those users who have it-- try adding the "pahdonothing package"....note that's the package that removed the sandboxing feature--for any slaves that need to be able to sandbox you can use that as a template to a package of your own and re-add the sandboxing features back in It just seems to be an issue with the specific guards there and some factions - might be down to me enslaving bandits or similar. All those home mods look great - thanks to everyone for the suggestions.
Musje Posted December 5, 2016 Author Posted December 5, 2016 I updated using NMM but now when i go to the MCM menu its blank/doesnt show any of my slaves? also, once iv clicked the mcm menu for HSH all the other mcm mod menus stop stop working till i escape out. the old version was working fine and iv only updated using NMM so is there any new requirements not mentioned in required list or have I done something else wrong? That shouldn't happen. There's no new requirements but maybe something odd in the requirements checker (wich is invloked when you open the MCM menu for HSH). Can you open the HSH menu and post a Papyrus log of that please?

bicobus Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Got similar errors on a working save. Sadly, updating is making my game ctd on load. I reverted to 1.01 and the ctd went away. Is it, per chance, because heretical resources is missing?

Musje Posted December 5, 2016 Author Posted December 5, 2016 Those logs look bad I've modified scripts and added or changed variables in the past without issue, why would it choke so badly on your save this time? The chain stuff might be due to Heretical Resources scripts missing, you could try loading that save with HR installed. But I don't understand all the other errors.
pinky6225 Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 tried straight upgrade which caused ctd, tried on clean save and not getting the mcm appear although everything loads up, i think i can see one of the quests start (show location of camps) but no mcm even after using setstage ski_configinstaller 1 on the console and the same with a new game as well

Anyone with issues, tryand install Heretical Resources for now (it's a lightweight mod anyway). If that fixes it, I will list it as a hard requirement for now, and include the resources into HSH in the next version.
sidfu Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 if i rememer right slaves getting atttacked is normaly caused by custom factions. always save before u enslave if u have anything that touches factions. just tried new version and my game started and loaded np and mcm is open ingame. i have both the hertical and the zaz extenison installed. also my log has none of those items otherr guys have. cant test right now without the hertical as no time to rebuild my patches.

sidfu Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 well clifton if a slaves factions where causeing issues and u handed them over to HSH wouoldnt the faction issue stay? btw been meaning to ask which is better if u get the option enslave faction or just enslave? well ive learned on my game and if when u enslave and dont get the dialgue to reload the game and if still does then i avoid enslaveing that type of npc if its nonneamed. well i typicaly enslave named none essintal npc for keeping and enslave bandies for training to sell. one thing i hope get addes to HSH is prostution camps. have both trained and untrained in the camp and people actualy come to the camp to use the slaves "P

If that fixes it, I will list it as a hard requirement for now, and include the resources into HSH in the next version. * New game, 1.02 without Heretical Resources: cannot get HSH's MCM menu to appear in list. * Added Heretical Resources, reopened save made with 1.02 sans HR, MCM menu appears but is non-functional (options cannot be changed.) * New game with HR already installed, MCM menu appears and is functional. Is there perhaps a "reboot/reset HSH" sort of console command to fix up saves that started without HR?

CliftonJD Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 well clifton if a slaves factions where causeing issues and u handed them over to HSH wouoldnt the faction issue stay? only if the faction issues were caused by a borked or none-object slave, under normal conditions a healthy slave would have its factions checked again using hsh properties instead of pahe properties that said, a slave can be allied to player and become friendly to the player's friends, but a slave no longer with the player doesn't qualify for those same alliances under skyrim law. i think for a while we had those issues covered if the slaves are tied using that donothing package i spoke of a few posts back popular demand asked for sandboxing to return so that package will no longer govern everything the slaves do and pahe will need to overcome hostile attacks on tied slaves once again btw been meaning to ask which is better if u get the option enslave faction or just enslave? think i tried to hint to that i wasn't sure at the time, but thought there wouldn't...i've seen enough of the code now i can say the only difference is that bad ass move you found makes enslave faction a hell of alot easier than the other methods well ive learned on my game and if when u enslave and dont get the dialgue to reload the game and if still does then i avoid enslaveing that type of npc if its nonneamed. well i typicaly enslave named none essintal npc for keeping and enslave bandies for training to sell. one thing i hope get addes to HSH is prostution camps. have both trained and untrained in the camp and people actualy come to the camp to use the slaves "P 7.0 shouldn't have dialogue issues, unless its upgrading an old save---i wasn't aware of it when i posted it, but the unfinished content i had to remove to prevent that bug only takes effect on new (or cleaned) saves so an old save will be more buggy than it already was after the upgrade, but a new save should be completely free of any dialog issues if i had known ahead of time, i'd have warned everybody...

Not one to give up easily (and tbh i can't be bothered with the re-clean save game making) i installed heretical resources and gave it a try and had some rather strange results Loading new game save made yesterday so lvl 1 in the live another life abandoned prision cell - no mcm Loading old save game of lvl 50 something character - MCM appeared Loading even older save game of lvl 90 something character - MCM appeared Loading current play through at branch decision at lvl 24 - MCM appeared Loading current play through actually playing at lvl 26 - MCM appeared So went back to my usual lvl 1 in life another life abandoned prision "safe load" save game - no MCM So for me it seems that the MCM and other associated stuff on my non-lvl 1 char games is working as i saw a quest/spell start during load (place wall chain added - might be from heretical resource tho) as well but it doesnt like loading on my lvl 1 "safe loading" saves Wondering if the MCM issue is to do with the detection going on here Also what is the PAHE Slave origin info? have the latest version of PAHE and not seen anything about origins mentions

realjojo Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 About PAHE Slave origin info checkbox, is there anybody else encounter the "No matter how hard you click the line, it still won't be checked" problem? Mine is the old 1.01 version, though.
