Nel Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Look at the second post of the thread. It is where he posts all beta updates. It is there as of me typing this.
Maldred Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Thank you both for showing me(for the umpteenth time) how blind I am. I normally just check the first post nd the most recent posts.
Sleepy_Soul Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 ...but the birthing animation worked once for me and that was cool' date=' once i got to the Mohave outpost and impregnated an NPC i got to watch it again, and it was very nice, only thing i noticed was that the NPC redressed before the animation was complete, and sometimes it doesn't trigger right so the PC will just stand there or run around like it never happened, I still get the animation token and it gets removed the animation just doesn't play, this only happens sometimes though [/quote'] Â Yea, looks like the birthing animation sometimes doesn't play 100%, despite receiving the Birthing Animation Token at time of labour. Works 100% of the time on companions though. Too many variables and inconsistent testing results on my end for me to give an educated guess why (Clothing removal script on PC maybe?) Â The fact you can somewhat crawl around whilst in labour is pretty gritty, and thus a nice touch. Super imaginary bonus points will be given to someone can produce a screenshot with the following elements: Â In labour with a P6 belly. Getting a cinematic headshot kill on a bandit/fiend. Using a high texture modded Maria as a weapon. Has 'Danger Zone' via Kenny Loggins as background music. Background explosions with Boomers high-fiving. Â Good luck
Guest user29 Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 the crawl while in labor isn't actually an intended feature. It's a glitch.

Good luck LOL, that would be something to see I'm working on it, trying to sort the multiple birth issue out as a priority and playing with that on the side

Halstrom Posted January 15, 2013 Author Posted January 15, 2013 New Update 20130115.1beta: Â Fix for multiple birthing not working. no more progress on the animation itself. Â Tweaks to Mutation & Misscarry, the earlier in the Pregnancy the more chance of Miscarriage or Mutation from Tight clothing, Alcohol, Drugs, Jumping, Running, Radiation, Starvation, Sleep Deprivation, Dehydration, Poor Health, Being set on fire, etc, etc. The Dificulty slider effects all of these except BunAway which should always have full effect. 100 units of BunAway = 50% increaced chance of Miscarriage per 5 Game minutes.
Guest user29 Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Much better for the player. I would make it at least twice as long though, and you should toggle flycam ( con_tfc is the function ) at the beginning, then call that again to toggle it off. Â But it started and stopped when it was suppose to. Again, for the player. NPC's are still crab walking away after giving birth. But you might not have gotten to them yet.

But you might not have gotten to them yet.[/quote'] Hmm I set the script up for NPC use as well, only difference I have for NPC's is they aren't going to take the camera controls or disable Player controls. Perhaps it's due to health damage from the Birthing effect than the animation? I've got the camera controls in there, just commented out till I test them.
Halstrom Posted January 16, 2013 Author Posted January 16, 2013 New Update 20130116.1beta:  Added camera control & disable Player controls to Birthing  Extended birthing time between stages, something still too quick in the last stage I think.
paladuin Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 im not sure if its just a bug in my game but when pregnant with a centaur after birth, basically when born and they go to apparel section, being a pup basically, they are getting turned into coyote/dog offspring?
ValentineAces Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Need some help  I installed zippy's compilation file... (due to my lazyness XP)  And I think something in there crashed the mod because even though I set the settings for everything to impregnate my character it isn't working... It works only on default as in only humans, ghouls, and super mutants
Halstrom Posted January 17, 2013 Author Posted January 17, 2013 im not sure if its just a bug in my game but when pregnant with a centaur after birth' date=' basically when born and they go to apparel section, being a pup basically, they are getting turned into coyote/dog offspring?[/quote'] Ahh found that and others, I had just not renamed them when copying them from the Dog template, they still should turn into Centaurs ok, am fixing now for next release of SCR tommorrow.  Need some help I installed zippy's compilation file... (due to my lazyness XP)  And I think something in there crashed the mod because even though I set the settings for everything to impregnate my character it isn't working... It works only on default as in only humans' date=' ghouls, and super mutants[/quote']  If your old save is from troo far back in Pregnancy versions it can cause issues, as I've added/removed stuff it may be looking for now. So you need to do a clean save. Otherwise you should be able to overwrite the Compilation pack SCR & Pregnancy with the current beta versions, it's possible the version in the Compilation had a few issues I've fixed in the last couple of releases of Pregnancy.
ValentineAces Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Still does the same thing though now that I went a bit deeper into the mod it seems it is only with dogs and centaurs, as scorpions and the rest work fine... Also... Found a bug with the birthing process in this new version (at least for me) The tokens for birthing appear but the animation(sound?) doesn't happen and the pregnancy and offspring tokens remain in the misc section in other words you don't get your offspring as companions.
Guest user29 Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Yeah, birthing animation is still too short. It's actually shorter than it was. Your tfc worked well though. I was on the ground for like a total of a second before I got snapped back. Â You might want to try plugging in to sexout's sex duration variable so people can have that be as short or as long as they want.
Guest user29 Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Â As for the labor/birth animation' date=' I have a suggestion/idea but it doesn't have to be taken seriously at all. I think the birthing animation should take maybe 20 seconds, then the character should be ko'd for maybe 3-5 seconds. One may say that doesn't sound realistic since most women don't pass out after giving birth but well, its Fallout and these women wouldn't be given any drugs to ease their pain, and they're giving birth to mutated creatures. [/quote'] Â I say throw it on a toggle so people can decide if they want it or not. Seems like a good idea to me.
revanag Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Updated SCR to 01/17/2013 and pregnancy to 0116.1 beta and it looks like fertility cycle value and other stats in medical scanner (drug scanner also) doesn't changing. They're constant. I'm going to try earlier versions.
Sleepy_Soul Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 ... You might want to try plugging in to sexout's sex duration variable so people can have that be as short or as long as they want ... Â Too many variables? No such thing here. Â Ran with SCRv1.14 & PregV3 v0116.1 last night, and the birthing animation kicked off consistently with the PC, but it is a bit odd that it cycles very shortly for each baby. Looks good on coding paper, but not so much in game imo. Â Devianza's opinion rhymes with mine, but a labour duration toggle would satisfy all tastes. Â P.S. The NPCs crab walking away after giving birth behavior is, while still a bug, wildly hilarious. Wish I had that kind of core body strength though

I'm going to try earlier versions.  I'll have a look at that, last changes I did there were a week or 2 back, maybe I broke something.
schnookums Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I dunno what might be causing this oddity, but in the REPCONN area, all the feral ghouls semen comes out as supermutant instead (the first thing to molest me in said area was a supermutant, dunno if that changed things, I should try an earlier save to test that) Otherwise the mod has been working great for me as of late  EDIT It seems to be working fine for me now...just a weird little anomaly I'm guessing
Reese Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Hi I made a PittBaby world model for your mod Preg PittBaby.rar
zippy57 Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I'm assuming Reese means world model, since I believe the world model was the one Halstrom couldn't get to appear correctly.
