ddt4ever Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 I have done some resaerch about my problem with the whoring dialogue after quiting being a slave to my follower. I found this in the description of Player Prostitution: "You might become a slave whore - then you are completely out of control - you have to do whatever your Johns want from you and they define the price." This sounds like the same thing that is happening to me. I searched but did not find a faction for that. Is it possible to remove the "slave whore" attribute from a character? Also there is another problem I encountered with the game mechanics of Maria Eden. It is the "nobody will understand you when you are gagged". This overrides the gag talk features of all other mods like DD Integration and makes it nearly impossible to remove any Devious Device when you are gagged and have an armbinder. You can only remove it via other mods mcm options or console commands. But this tends to break some other mods. So is it possible to make an MCM option in a future version that can disable this mechanic? And before I forget it. Thank you for the great mod.

Zor2k13 Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 It would make more sense that some gags could be mumbled through but not others like the heavy gags with the plugs if the plug is in then the player can't talk if the npc takes the plug out then the player can kind of talk. The ring gags same thing they might be able to blurt something out of those.

Furthermore, slave type stuff doesn't do anything. Events that should trigger it fail silently. Will post a papyrus log as soon as I figure out how.

DDI is going to be you main trouble, or Maria is going to be trouble when running DDI I like both styles, and for maria I think zaira handles everything fine, but the reason you can not use lock picks is the DDI scripting on the Arm binder restricts that. I have never had a problem, unless I did not have a knife, or a lock pick with zaira s way of doing things so long as I did not have DDI activated. I have also not had a problem with DDI so long as I did not have Maria activated. except for that stupid MMMUPHIt!, (almost got it), mmmmpfthzzz! MMMPHt!, Mmmmunnnzit!, MMMPHt!, Mmmmunnnzit!, mmmmpfthzzz! MMMPHt!. Which drives me nuts. I have literally spend so much time trying to get them to understand me that I rage quit, and started a save way before the Gag got put on. The Gag thing in DDI, It is suppose to get easier, but it never has with me, and the clicking, Gosh! I bet with absolutely no exaggeration I have at time's had to click, and restart the dialogue, and click, and click more that 80 time's before maybe getting loose, I mean, damn, any idiot would see you have a gag on, and either tell you to fuck off, or help you with it. I know I will get bashed for saying that about DDI gag thing, but for me it is a real pain, all DDI mods that allow me to not have the GAG used in the mod, I can assure you it gets turned off. The arm binder also as it makes getting the map up a real pain in the wazoo! So it is something you will have to deal with if you run Maria, and DDI together. The mechanics are just different, and I like both way's, I think it is refreshing to use Maria, over DDI mods sometimes. Or just actually look at the Person and open there eye's and see that they have a gag on, and offer to take it off with a head nod, for set amount of money , or out of kindness! EDIT>>>> I mean that would be a nice mod for people that can not stand the Gag mumble stuff, have NPC look at you and say " must be hard to talk with that thing locked on your face, I might take it off, if you willing to do the dirty deed with me?" Maybe randomize it just a little not much so as the first NPC you come to might just tell you to fuck off! or might just take advantage of you problem. But soon one would take it off for you. EDIT>>>> I am truly looking forward to your next release zaira.. I am sure it will have many surprises for us.

I have been reading through the thread, have seen fancy things like copying NPCs and items to set a new brothel or adding NPCs shapes to a pool of NPCs form which the builder self draws when spawning the actors you add, but so far have not seen anybody with a problem similar to mine. Okay you have the builder self spell which allow you to place most any Zaz device in the game that is majorly useful to Maria. along with some fuck dog's, and horse's, and other items, chest full of wonderful zaz toy's.. easy enough to figure out. and you have the builder spell I think it is called. Anyway the other one makes your hand turn sort of greenish or that is the way it looks on my monitor. This one you hit and NPC or creature with, and it brings up a menu that allow you to add them to the random NPC pool, or you can make them a pimp, or a pimp helper, or a Whore.....I forget all of them, and that is about it... make a save, and experiment with them, to get and Idea as to what they do. But understand that if you make changes, and then save you game it may get written to the .json file, and be permanently added to your game ( The game that you have Maria installed in ) Use some caution, and read a little of zaira doc files, and stuff it will help you. lots of things can be done, and I bet zaira in the next installment may give us even more. That is about all I know about them, it just takes some experimentation, and careful planning.

Not a bad idea, but If done like that it would be I think good if it was a very temporary thing, as in maybe 3 to 10 trick's and your debt was payed, rather than one of those now you totally belong to me things.

Most probably the UIExtensions mod is broken, wrong version, not installed or whatever

I have tried using the MCM menu to save outfits my character was wearing, only to not have them save. I have checked for the MariaNPCOutfits folder under The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Legendary Edition\Data\SKSE\Plugins\StorageUtilData, but no subfolders exist, or are created. This is a problem, because whenever my character is ordered to wear a specific outfit, I do not have any .json files saved for the game to use to, and cannot complete the demand. Everything else is working correctly with the mod, I just cannot figure out why these folders are not being created, and they do not exist in the archive itself, either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You are right the combination of DDI and Maria is what causes the problem. But I really like both mods and would like to use them together. But as it is, the combination results in unsolvable issues when you are unlucky. Hopefully this will be gone with some future adustments. I never had problems with the DDI gag talk feature. But i agree that there should be some other devious options, like rape. And sometimes you could just be ignored. This offers many great possibilites. You have to copy these manually in your mod folder. You can find it in the mod directory of Mod Organizer.

I am using NMM, and I should have mentioned it before, I did check it's overwrite directory, which also did not have the MariaNPCOutfits folder, which struck me as odd. I don't know if this is a problem with my NMM install, though I have tried uninstalling then reinstalling, or if it's a conflict with another mod I have installed. I just can't seem to get the mod to create the necessary .json files anywhere. I don't feel confident in my ability to create my own either, though I'm not sure if that would even work, considering the directories would have to be created too. When I cast the outfit spell and save through MCM though, the mod says it saved to the directory that should be there, it just doesn't exist anywhere on my computer.

That is what I have been trying, though perhaps I have skipped a step somewhere. Also, I am not really complaining about the mod, just to be clear. It is fantastic, one of the most enjoyable mods I have tried thus far. I have been able to do most everything else the mod can do, I just can't perform any actions requiring a change of uniforms by an NPC. I can Force them to wear certain outfits and assign them roles though. I am sure it is some problem on my end, though after reading the 127 pages of comments by other users, a few have had the same issue as I have, and I didn't find a solution in previous posts. I appreciate your input, and If I can't get a solution, it isn't the end of the world, as the mod is still 90% playable, it's just a bit annoying to have to avoid brothels for instance, since I will not be able to complete tasks assigned there.

In your previous post you said that you use NMM. I never used it, so I can't help you there. But as mod managers sometime do wierd things, I would guess that this might be the reason for your problem. I`m not sure If you need the outfit setter spell. If I remember correctly, you just need to wear the outfit you want and then choose save in the MCM menu. Then you can choose the category you want to save your current outfit in. After choosing you just have to name it. To find out where your file is saved, you should note the name you entered for the outfit and then use the search function in the explorer to find it. Perehaps this will help you to move the files to the right directory. Sorry but that is all I can propose to you right now.

I am constantly testing different mods, and restarting all the time, adding, and removing mods, so I wind up never getting the, I guess supposed benefit from the gag talk where is suppose to be easier.. I have never found it easy, and find it the most annoying thing in DDI, I have rage quite many mods because of it. It is just a stupid time waster "imo" but when it was first placed in there I thought it was great... But that has been a couple of years I think now, and I now have truly changed my mind. The gag talk, and the map problems with the Armbinder bother me greatly. " And yes, I know how to get the map up with the arm binder on ( but that should have been well documented, and at first was not, I like to never found the right thread where some one told me how to do it. ), but it's just bothersome to have to remember the proper key sequence all the time. Arm binder would not be so bad, but most every DDI mod out there stick it, and every other Item they can think of on you, and then puts you at some location, with instructions, saying "now find your way back, and I will remove it." ( for awhile that really kicked my Arse, as I could not figure out how to get the map up...) and every one and there little brother makes there own key's, or there own way to escape, sometimes it can get really confusing, when you have 4 or 5 DDI mods all running at the same time, just trying to figure out if you have, or where the right key for the device you have on is, or do you need to hunt down a black smith, or maybe you need to see that lady in captured dream's, or maybe you need more than one key, for each lock, or this could be one of those that I need to struggle, and get off, "now how many time's was I suppose to struggle?".. I am easy to confuse, and so I do not hardly ever run or combine mod's often at all... LOL, I mean no dis respect to DDI mod, I enjoyed, and am still enjoying many of them, it's just I find for me ( Note the for ME! ) running more than one of the DDI mods at a time some times very troubling. I guess that is why I have trouble understanding why people would want to run two or even 3 or 4 slave mods at the same time when you can only be enslaved by one at a time, or logically you should only be enslaved by one at a time. But I have fun with all of them.. My pet peeves or not truly complaint's, just personal playing styles.

I am constantly testing different mods, and restarting all the time, adding, and removing mods, so I wind up never getting the, I guess supposed benefit from the gag talk where is suppose to be easier.. I have never found it easy, and find it the most annoying thing in DDI, I have rage quite many mods because of it. It is just a stupid time waster "imo" but when it was first placed in there I thought it was great... But that has been a couple of years I think now, and I now have truly changed my mind. The gag talk, and the map problems with the Armbinder bother me greatly. " And yes, I know how to get the map up with the arm binder on ( but that should have been well documented, and at first was not, I like to never found the right thread where some one told me how to do it. ), but it's just bothersome to have to remember the proper key sequence all the time. Arm binder would not be so bad, but most every DDI mod out there stick it, and every other Item they can think of on you, and then puts you at some location, with instructions, saying "now find your way back, and I will remove it." ( for awhile that really kicked my Arse, as I could not figure out how to get the map up...) and every one and there little brother makes there own key's, or there own way to escape, sometimes it can get really confusing, when you have 4 or 5 DDI mods all running at the same time, just trying to figure out if you have, or where the right key for the device you have on is, or do you need to hunt down a black smith, or maybe you need to see that lady in captured dream's, or maybe you need more than one key, for each lock, or this could be one of those that I need to struggle, and get off, "now how many time's was I suppose to struggle?".. I am easy to confuse, and so I do not hardly ever run or combine mod's often at all... LOL, I mean no dis respect to DDI mod, I enjoyed, and am still enjoying many of them, it's just I find for me ( Note the for ME! ) running more than one of the DDI mods at a time some times very troubling. I guess that is why I have trouble understanding why people would want to run two or even 3 or 4 slave mods at the same time when you can only be enslaved by one at a time, or logically you should only be enslaved by one at a time. But I have fun with all of them.. My pet peeves or not truly complaint's, just personal playing styles. I understand your point there. I myself run a heavyly modded Skyrim with multiple slavery and devious mods. It is hard sometimes to find out where a problem you have is coming from. But I like the combination of possibilities. Every mod has its own way of doing things and that is what makes them all interesting to me. But as you said, it is all personal preference. Especially ME has so much unique features that makes the game very special and therefore I want to stick with it, even if there might be some problems with other mods. And of course zaira is always developing it for the better. Thanks for that. And of course a thanks to all that took interest in my little gag problem.
