Yes. Although the portrait mod conflicts with the new East African portrait DLC, which is separate from the update and expansion. So just don't buy that or don't have it activated.

you have to disable east african portraits, since it isn't incorporated yet into the portraits mod. If you want to play as a futanari, either start as male, and choose futanari start from the events menu, or play as female and take the futa start, but as far as I'm aware, you will still be your initial sex, and marriage options are mainly religion and culture dependend, so if you play as western catholic female futa, you only can marry males and vice versa. This also solves the inheritance problem, since a futa is always either male or female and only that counts. Beeing a futa is only a trait, not a new gender.

Actually choosing futa on a male character turns you into a trap. Though you're right about the portraits.

Modding Crusader Kings 2 is easy, the vast majority can be done via the use of a simple text editor.

Would we be able to play as Lilith?

 

I dabbled in this, and I decided it wouldn't work for a number of reasons. First, I needed to make her unlanded, which has several benefits, such as avoiding nasty events, protecting her from other AI, and protecting other AI from her. Since Lilith's unlanded, the player cannot play as her, otherwise it's instant game over, because she doesn't have a dynasty, or land. I also felt from a lore perspective, it would be more fun if Lilith has a loose connection to the mortal realm, so to get what she wants she has to assert her authority through the characters she possesses, and not so much her directly taking the reins. I always pictured Lilith as someone who works from the shadows.

 

I would also have to alter all the events based on the perspective of the player being Lilith. Currently, Lilith speaks to other characters, but if YOU are Lilith, you're the one who would have to do the speaking, so I'd have to change the formatting of the events.

 

There's also the issue of balance. I'm making the mod somewhat challenging with respects to keeping your vassals in line and appeasing Lilith, but if you're Lilith, none of those things matter, and it would be too easy playing as a super-powered immortal character that all your followers adore from day one. Some complain that CKII is too easy, so I don't want to make it even easier, lol.

Elderkings already has vampires and werewolves. But even then taking some of the flavour mods and putting them in, merging them with that one Deadric prince's religion isn't that hard. I did it. If I can do it anyone can - I am not a modder. haha

Quick update:

 

Life still sucking away my time, one issue got better and another is stable - yet still a time sink, then one of my boys needed surgery (low-risk, but left their mobility drastically limited while things heal). The small glimmer of hope I had when I expected to post some things was dashed by a massive loss of work. It really took the steam out of my sails, and I just couldn't find the motivation to rebuild and figure out just how bad the damage was. So I spent my few free hours a week playing the new Deus Ex and FO4 Nuka World DLC.

 

This week though I began picking through things and putting things back together. I'll refrain from making any comments about when something will actually get posted, since I think I'm like 0-3 on recent mentions. But I'm picking at it again.
