i wish mom/son daughter/dad incest events were back from old mod

 

Clearly, you've yet to play a pack of werewolves.  Werewolf Bitches and the eventual (correct me if I'm wrong) Omega Male events make family uh... relations(?) kinda messy.  I haven't tested it from the female side of things, but being the - for lack of better words - Alpha Male in a pack forged kingdom and I tend to worry about all the general opinion penalties that crop up from the daughters that end up with the Werewolf Bitch modifier when I choose to hunt for a bitch.  Very messy lines of succession...

 

 

Hmm, I have seem to find way to exclude characters mother from potential targets, even if she has that modifier. Not sure if I can do it for siblings, at any rate, it needs more testing.

This is likely already been posted, but...

 

I recently downloaded the Birthright2 mod and was disappointed DW didn't work with it.   After much playing around, I found that if you copy all the files from DW that you want (Core, Night...etc) into the actual BR2 mod folder and leave the DW mods active that everything seems to work.   Im sure there might be some balance issue and bugs, but so far everything is working fine for me.  I really like Fenris and Vlad, and think they fit fine in BR2.  Not to mention whoring and slavery...I mean what D&D campaign did you play that didn't have both of those? lol

 

You should likely only try this if you don't mind losing a gamesave...I wouldn't doubt some nasty glitch will show late in a game.  *chuckle*

The instructions in the FAQ for getting it to work with the Game of Thrones mod will also work, and it's only one file you need to change once, rather than all of the files every update that you want to merge with the Birthright2 mod.

Yea, I was going to say, you're playing with fire, because so many things could be happening in the background that you don't even know yet. Hell, I'm surprised Birthright2 was even updated to the latest CKII release.

1 question i get a lot off court jesters in my court is this a bug or is there a selution

 

 

Are you using the Darkworld Rebuild? It creates an extra slot, so Court and Commerce thinks you don't have a jester and just spawn more.

No, but when they're all programmed in you won't need to seeing as they'll keep you and your descendants busy for the handful of centuries CK2 has.

i just reset my pc to factory settings, so i need to redownload steam and darkworld. but you can find it yourself, just go to the fairy tails mod folder, open up the text document, and read the events until you find the very first event to do, so not the one where you find the village, but where you take beauty out for a walk i believe. that should start the chain again.

event DWFairyTales.100 to find a village with a certain girl and have the ability to visit said village. Again.

Keep in mind that questline is not supposed to be started multiple times in one playthrough and expect weird issues, glitches and bugs by using this method. For instance the village inhabitants will recognise you as the slayer of the beast even when you only 'found' the village as the used global flags are not removed for that questline is only supposed to fire once. Similarly Beauty isn't magically reappearing if she went with you to your court 100 years ago.

All in all starting the questline a second time does not work the way you may expect.

You may be able to start the questline without issues if you manually delete every and all global flags which were set by the quest.

might also be able to just do the last part when it created belle and puts her in your court, to avoid the most of the buggyness, note i havnt tried it, so idk how it will work out, but in theory it should work.

My sub mod for Creatures of Night is almost complete, though it needs some more testing to see if everything works properly. It adds feral werewolf event chain from original Dark World 1.25, adds decision for werewolf to turn their wife(s) and or concubine(s) into bitches, and or impregnate them (it's really just visit your lover decision, with ability to turn spouse into bitch), and I also played around with werewolf hunt scopes, so that player werewolf, or AI, shouldn't target their parents therefore reduce incest happening, it doesn't include siblings though, and needs some more testing. Anyone interested? If it works well I might upload it later.

So is it worth making an incubus chara? I remember the last time it tried it there was only a third of the sucubus content accessable via incubus charas. (spells and whatnot)

Our lovely Orc from the neighborhood said the next update was to implement tons of spells and events for succubus and incubus.

Sadly his RL currently is ... chaotic to say the least and said update has not reached us yet.

Tentacle spells per any chance? Was thinking of making sub mod on them too, maybe expanding on them.

tentacle kin aren't in DW:R properly just yet. The trait exists (i think), but no content regarding them. They also weren't listed as part of the next update. If you mean spells the children of lilith can use with tentacle like effects, they might be in the update, but I don't remember seeing them listed on Dewguru's post concerning the contents of the update. So it may be a bit before you can mess with that stuff. Sorry.

I ALREADY messed with it and have those spells for my sub mod, modifiers and traits are in DWCore, so I just needed to get other stuff from original DW. I'm planing to do more then just to use old content though, I have seen some unused content in mod files too.

You could open the console, enable 'charinfo' and clear all the flags related to fairy tales quest line via console 1 by 1 with 'clr_char_flag'

e.g 'clr_char_flag dw_belle_in_court'

Also, what's the chance of actually dominating someone if you go hunting and seek a new conquest as a female futa werewolf? So far I have lost my main char and 2 of my heirs for failing all conquests in row

Some are character flags, some are global flags.

For instance "dw_belle_in_court" is a global flag, not a character flag.

Your tipp works for the character flags but not for the global flags. I know of no easy way to see which global flag is active and which is not. For removing flags it is neccessary to write the EXACT flag name and the console stays silent. It does not communicate success or failure.

And when you keep in mind every single action in that questline induces one or the other type of flag that would mean removing many flags. Partly without knowing if it has been removed or not.

easiest way to go about it actually is to make a micro mod with only 1 decision.

 

you search all flags used in the submod involved, and add them to the decision, so when you use it it clears every single flag at the same time, effectively reseting the mod.

no need for eyes, just brains

you read, think, code, and no need to know which flags are active at any given moment.

if what you want is to restart the beauty & the beast chain, you look through the files, note ALL flags who do ANYTHING at all in that story, and add them for clearance on your custom decision.

 

and when you use it it resets completely that story, as if it had never happened at all, which is the same as if you go deleting flags manually, just cleaner(leaves no flags at all, so it works as if you started a new game), and faster (only need to code it once, and you can use it on any and all playthroughs)

Answering a question whether or not some specific action allows someone to generally see something with an answer of 'in this specific case it is not neccessary' is ... not as smart as you may think.
