Hi, I'm doing the Dibella quest and I'm not sure how to progress after putting on the bra and belt of female curves. Nothing happens. No visual change, no quest progression. Lena doesn't have anything to say.

Within a few seconds after donning the belt/bra you should get a text box telling you that you need to create a female character in RaceMenu, and a link to RaceMenu. This is your visual change. If you're not getting the text box, there is something wrong with your install.

I think I finally found the bug. Will be fixed in the next update.

Meanwhile, you can configure starter (stud) piercings in ypsItems.json for all piercing slots except ears.

I am loving all the new updates Emily. Thank you for addressing the issue I had regarding BoS interaction, its even better than I hoped. This mod is an essential one for my games, its fantastic and your doing great!

 

Edit: I was going through Embershard mine by Riverwood and spent way too long (as opposed to not having nails) picking up coins and gems because of the nails, I love the features that impact gameplay like that. That being said I just had something weird happen when I was fumbling to pick up some coins later (in the outside world), when I was fumbling I got a load screen and was teleported back to the last cell I exited from (Embershard Mine). Not sure if this is something anyone else has experienced.

So, I've finally got Bimbos of Skyrim version 1.8 out! This adds two main YPS related things:

 

-Support for YPS's bimbo nails system, and

-Genderbending (using YPS's system)! If your male character is too much of a manwhore, he'll be transformed into a woman so can be a proper whore! This adds a different flavour of genderbend to YPS's built-in Dibella quest- and, yes, it can be used as a purely genderbending thing. The bimbofication can be turned off in the settings so BoS only does genderbending.

 

Huge thanks to Emily for YPS and all the features I've integrated from it into BoS!

- New quest: "A Woman in Skyrim". The player will travel throughout Skyrim and meet several notable female NPCs, learning many aspects of being a woman in Skyrim, in particular the YPS fashion features. When playing a new female character or when being changed into a woman by some other means (e.g. a modevent), the quest will automatically launch within 1 in-game hour. Only the first quest stage is done - still unfinished.
- added 25 new lipstick colors (thanks to Laetas for providing the color names and rgb values)
- added more nails to the professional nail database
- fixed an issue of 3rd party nails not being properly applied during the nail session
- fixed a bug preventing slavetat piercings being properly applied
- when SL survival is installed, will now show a pop-up upon permanent gender change to female reminding player of misogyny debuff
- fixed a strange sound in the sound database
- BoS integration: to add flexibility, nail color choices for Bimbos are now a stringlist in ypsBimboNailsLE/SE.json

- BoS integration: added MCM option to disable nail color restriction for Bimbos
- BoS integration: Bimbos visiting the nail salon now may only choose nail shapes having valid colors.
- Dibella quest: added an alternative way to start the quest: talk to Urag about new people around (some people had problems finding the note on the barrel)
- Dibella quest: if you are turned into a girl before wearing the belt and bra by some other means (e.g. quaffing the potion, or a modevent), the quest will fork directly to a new quest ending
- for modders: mod will set papyrus variable ypsPermanentGenderChange = 1 when player got permanently changed into opposite of starting gender (can also be used with the player thought system)

New additions to the nail database:

- Shas nails YPS version are now completely included (about 360 nail styles)

- Haruharu nails: https://sheep-mocomoco.blogspot.com/2017/10/haruharunailsdownload.html. Available for SE and LE. Short nails. 4 colors and 26 cute nail art styles, many of them in pastel colors

- Haruharu nails included in Herboners. Available for LE and SE. Short nails. 2 colors.

I may be having an issue with Dibella Quest - after putting on the bra and belt of female curves, it opens racemenu just fine and I can then talk to Lena, but she doesn't recognize me and there is no dialogue about getting rid of the device or anything about completing her order, instead she asks me to be her girlfriend and nothing else happens. A Woman in Skyrim triggers as well.

I don't know what you mean by "header 2". There are some equippable toenail mods around. The reason I didn't implement them yet is that they seem to be incompatible with the Cinderella feet and some high heels.

That's a bug. I changed the script YpsPiercingTicker.pex (see attachment). Does that fix it?

@emily1673 I just want to clarify that I am interpreting how the ypsBimboNails json works correctly. The "bimbonailcolors" is for when you have the 'Force Bimbos to visit Nail Salon' disabled (i.e. when the nails auto grow they will be restricted to that color) and "bimbonailsaloncolorchoices" are when you have the 'Force Bimbos to visit Nail Salon' enabled as well as when you have 'Restrict Bimbo nail colors' enabled (i.e. restricted to those colors when a bimbo and using the professional manicure).

Also that "bimbominimumnailtiplength" lists all the acceptable nail lengths for bimbos.

Alas, no, updated the file and loaded in before reading the letter, didn't change anything, still only getting the girlfriend dialogue.

I can confirm Magnus' bug. I can also confirm that the updated script does not fix the issue. A woman in Skyrim is overwriting the Folower of Dibella quest. In the journal the Follower quest now ahs 2 active branches.

 

"This feels odd. I should Ask Lena for help removing the device."

"I am a woman now. I could talk to Lena."

 

This second option seems to overwrite the first one with the "now look what we've done" conversation option no longer being available.

 

Interestingly I'm also getting the "reminder, for the first seven weeks after the operation" message despite not having had any operations after donning the corset of female curves. There's definitely something odd going on here.

I didn't write an explanation yet, but am glad to see that you figured it out yourself.

"bimbonailshapes" and "bimbonailcolors" list 4 stages. Right now, BoS immediately applies stage 4, so stages 1-3 are skipped. But I am sure JB and me can work something out, so nails grow over time from stage 1 to stage 4.

When you choose the nail shapes and colors, refer to the naildatabase json for a full list of choices. Make sure that colors start with an empty space " ", and that there are nail shapes available that are long enough.

Yes, there are obviously some bugs, but nothing that cannot be fixed.

Hi, ty for this awesome mod first off. and all the effort you put into it. I just have an issue with the dark face bug on the stylists in the different towns. example the one at Riverwood. I have botox and BOS botox installed and no other beauty mods for npcs. Is it possible I messed up the order of the mods?

I have to know as it has been a while since I played through the gender bend quest, who is the One in Whiterun who had the sex change before you? I have tried to figure it out but so few clues, maybe think about a short to discover this persons identity and chat with them.

But really...Who is it?????

This should not happen on LE.

When I tried to fix this on SE, I messed up the sound&texture pack, so I gave up and recommend to use the "Face Discloration Fix" (see "recommended mods" in mod description).

I know who it is...

But I kept it unclear on purpose. It's just a little easter egg. There is a quite strong clue, if you look closely; but no "hard proof". And even if you discover her, there are no dialogue lines where you can explicitly chat about this issue, but some dialogue might get some deeper sense.

If anybody thinks they know the answer, please post in a "spoiler".

@emily1673 also would you consider making the piercings from this mod (Army Metal Pack) compatible wit YPS.

My Girl is wearing a Navel piercing from this mod but the warning keeps flashing in the screen "my navel piercing hole will stay open" it keeps diverting my attention.

The being a woman quest has some good synergy with BoS's gender bending curse. I wonder if perhaps the dialouge will differ depending on if you started as a female or was cursed into one.

On a different note I'd also like to say I really like this mod because it's probably one of the only mods I know of in Loverslab that I utilized in a build I made which I called the beutiful merchant, a build centered around having high speech. And whilst I was playing I did get an interesting idea but what if you could make your own perfumes, nail polishes and other stuff through alchemy or cooking pots with things like flowers or plants that maybe you can grow through the heartfire DLC. I know you can make claws at a forge but it feels a little broken since it requires leather straps which you can get easily and it levels up your smithing quite a lot to the point it feels a little op BUT I don't mind that because leveling up smithing is a pain anyways.

 

But yeah, honestly well done on this mod because I've not seen many on this website that both appeals to loverslab users but somehow also feeling like a legit mod that you could focus an entire character build around, well done!
