I seem to be getting reports that this file is infected with the wacattack or some such trojan. Anyone else?

6.8.1 in specific.

Very likely a false positive.

Here is the result from VirusTotal:

It's hard for mod files to be really malicious (except those – unlike YPS – containing dll files), but one should always be careful of course.

yps-SoundTexturePackage 240519 SE.7z was removed from Downloads.

Accident - or should we be using something else?

Love to see you hard at work on this mod.

That version was reverted to a former one, to prevent a bug:

I did not include the HN66 nails yet, because they are different for LE and SE.

Hobby artists should especially note the "permission free" mods, as it is quite easy to add further colors and nail art. Feel free to be creative, and I would be happy to include your new designs into the nail database.

Can't wait for the HN66 ones to be added :)

Very hot additions to the nail system, there is one thing that I feel like would add a lot but it may be pain in the ass to implement or super easy I honestly have no clue, I wish there were npc responses to you fumbling around with items, kinda how some lewd mods add comments to you knocking items around. This goes for really a lot of stuff, having npcs react to you add a lot and one of the best porn games I played were the ones that had reactions to your exploits or you changing. Either way this is a fun addition already, good job on the update.

For some reason this mod adds a constant 1 gold to my character's inventory. Don't know why and it gets annoying seeing the popup on my screen.

Do you happen to use Summermyst Enchants? I didn't get that until I installed it but I had yps in my load order for far longer with no issues, maybe those two have some sort of interaction causing it? I believe it is a known bug with skyrim tho and not unique to yps alone if that is causing it.

I do in fact have Summermyst! So it looks like some weird compatability issue then.

Just tried the download and Windows defender warns there's a virus in 6.8.1

If you tell me exactly what the pop-up says, I might be able to do a compatibility patch.

As I said, must be a false positive. I repackaged the mod on another rig, maybe this will solve the issue (see file attached to this post).

Very nice idea! I have the plan to revamp the NPC comments system (which is currently very rudimentary), and certainly should add a section on NPC commenting on long nails, especially super long ones.

i was wondering why I'm not able to craft shaving knife even though i have an embalming tool as one of the require crafting material, but it turn out, there is 4 different materials, all with the same name.

i really hope, you can remove embalming tool as a crafting material for shaving knife and switch to something more generic like an iron ingot or an iron dagger....

Crafting items is not a feature of YPS (yet). Generally, items should be bought from the YPS vendors.

I can't even remember I added these recipes to YPS; either I forgot, or it was done by one of the modders who took care of YPS during my absence, and added a few things.

In any case, I might add crafting recipes for YPS feature in the future, but if that happens it will maybe be on a larger scale.

Actually, the current crafting recipe still makes sense to me: you need to use the embalming tool that looks like a shaving knife (not the one that looks like a hook or a pair of scissors). And it's a good way to make some use of the embalming tools (which are just considered to be "clutter").

Yes, that's an important nail mod. Good news: I already found a way to add different versions of a mod for LE and SE to the nail database. So the next update will at least feature some of the HN66 nails (so that everybody can add more if they want).

well, crafting is kinda useless unless you are using it, finding the "correct' embalming tools is a bit difficult as it is randomly generated and only available in very specific dungeon... the fact that i have to cheat out multiple embalming tools shows that that crafting the item is more inconvenient then just outright buying the item from one of the fashion vendor...

if you kept it as it is, it basically just doing nothing but takes a space in the crafting menu... if that is the case, i suggest to remove it...

not to mention, skyrim, is the world where blacksmithing exist, so there is absolutely no reason not able to craft a razor blade from scratch.... that is what medieval blacksmith is for, they dont only makes weapons, but also household item like scissors and razor.

plus, it's not very immersive for you to have become a tomb raider in order to craft something so basic... it's a razor blade, not long lost ancient weapon made from metal that only ancient nord knows how to make...

If you're wandering through any crypt, you are likely to find various "embalming tools". The trick is to actually look at them. They all have very distinctive shapes. The one that looks like a medieval xActo knife is the one you want.

ETA When you go through Bleak Falls Barrow you run across a thief trapped in a spider web. You free him, he runs off and you follow. As soon as you enter the next room you see some sort of altar-like structure with several funeral jars and other clutter. Some of that clutter is embalming tools, including one of the type you are looking for, located on the structure. So, no unnecessary tomb raiding needed... unless of course you aren't doing the main quest.

You need the one in the second screenshot that looks like a scalpel. You can find one in the whiterun dead hall. You'll have to steal it, but it's nothing serious.

It's easy to find the right one. There's one in the Whiterun dead hall.

I already replied them on BoS' thread (which was also the incorrect one^^)

I won't copy the whole information over here, but tl;dr is:

Anyone wanting to port it feel free to do so, I won't because I'd have to recreate the MCM from scratch as there is no MCM Helper version for LE (at least a quick and rough search didn't yield a result at first glance)

Ran into an issue with the Dibella Quest when getting the professional manicure from Yolie, the nails do not seem to get applied to the player. After the manicure there are no nail meshes on my hands and I get charged a fee for loosing my nails, but nothing gets added again. However if I wear gloves and remove them the nail meshes are applied.

Edit: I am using the newest 6.8.1 on SE and I was able to apply the same nails successfully using the professional manicure option outside of the dibella quest
