2pac's CBBE Skimpy Armor and Clothing Replacer - Now version 2

loving the mod!

on a side note, can anyone tell me how to reduce the bust size?

real noob at this i have no idea what to do..

You must have the existing CBBE and Bodyslide (over at Nexus) as part of your download.  If you are new to modding I completely recommend using NMM (Nexus Mod Manager) instead of manual work (unless you are up to the challenge).

Then you install this mod, either manually or with NNM.

Open BodySlide, Batch build all 2pac's outfit with your favorite body, say, CBBE Curvy.

Note: Not all outfits will come out looking fine.  So you must double check and rebuild individually if they look bad.

I am loving the work you are doing, THANK YOU! I have been using them for a while and updating as you go, originally I had my combat armor chest piece as a bar that goes across both breasts, now it is more like some metal above the breasts but I see no info on variations of this piece like you have for BoS uniform and Vault Suit. Which of the files do I change out to get back to the original model?

I got rid of it because it clipped with evey underarmor lol. Ill be using the mesh for a different outfit though

I saw it clipped a little with the vault suit, worked great with BoS alt. Glad to hear it will return, I liked that design. Thanks again, this makes the game even more fun imo....

Hai 2Pac.. Happy Belated New Years!!

Refreshed all my assets (Mats, meshes..etc) with the updated list and everything works beautifully. It didn't break any of my custom N7 or Latex stuff either .. /cheer. Your coursers outfit however does not map to the texture.. It's the only outfit that comes up purple when I or Cait wear it. Do I need to rebuild the .osp again or is this something your are currently working on fixing. I remember I had a similar issue with another outfit and you waved your magic wand and fixed it ^_^

Otherwise, amazing work. It's made Fo4 replay value x1000.. the best (to date) I have seen, and love to use everyday.!

you seems to be missing the texture file of the outfit. Can you check in outfit studio the nif file ? Right click a part, propriety, texture button. If it's empty, it's a problem with the source file.

The outfit use silvershroud texture (I am not joking), but vanilla one, so the problem could not come from there...

There may be no assigned texture paths to the nif. That is no solution.2pac rarely/never assigns texture paths in the nif, just the material path.(which works fine)

err.. nope, material are handled by esp, texture are handled by nif. The texture he used for both silver shroud and courser outfit are vanilla texture, but they seems to not be linked properly.

No, danic was correct. The esp can override the materials in the nif however.

Silver shroud and courser definitely don't use vanilla textures.I don't assign texture paths in the nif because it's tedious and just takes extra time.

In that picture It looks like she forgot to install the main file, and only used the bodyslide files.

Yea, now in F4 you can point textures using materials (the material editor), you can even add glow maps and stuff.

Another question tho:

I did everything people suggesting including

- detecting where the dds files are located (right clicked on outfit)..they were missing (yes for some reason they are mapped to "SilveShroud" which did not exist >.> and I downloaded the textures and put them in the folder : still purple

- mapped outfit to CBBE and compiled - still purple

- referenced body, referenced outfit, conformed brushes, flattened saved as osp, opened osp, applied outfit, resaved, still purple..

- maybe i just need get the complete outfit again. the 2pac.zip doesnt have all the meshes.

Can someone send me an export of the osp and/or send me a zip with the necessary mesh, texts, and mats?

It's literally the only outfit whose texture just doesn't map * scratches head *

Try these material files.

pac4eva7.zip

Path should be \materials\armor\pac4eva7\blackWidow

It has nothing to do with silvershroud etc.Open the zip you downloaded.Copy the folder "...\2pac's Skimpy armor replacer v1\textures\Armor\pac4eva7\blackwidow" to your "...\data\textures\armor\pac4eva7\blackwidow" . Check the paths because i don't use the replacer mod and i might be wrong.

edit: the 1st answer from ShadowGearX was the right one. What you are missing is the textures located in the folder ...\blackwidow.

edit2: Like Kargrin said also copy "...\2pac's Skimpy armor replacer v1\Materials\Armor\pac4eva7\blackWidow" to your "...\Materials\Armor\pac4eva7\blackWidow" just to be safe .

Sorry if this has been answered already.. I did search the thread but it is.... active :)

Everything works fantastic for me except the Drifter outfit.  When I display it in Bodyslide with my preset it looks great, and I build it... but in game anybody wearing it appears nude except for the gloves.

The occasional Raider does this as well, so I suspect one of the Raider outfits is having the same issue?

All other outfits look great!

Thanks!

I've said it before but people don't seem to understand... THE TEXTURE PATHS IN THE NIF DON'T MATTER. STOP LOOKING AT THEM. THIS IS NOT SKYRIM. the only texture path that matters is in the MATERIAL FILE. BGSM.

Ah that did it!  Thanks!

The only mod listed after your ESP that I would think could possibly affect the drifter outfit was ArmorSmith Extended so perhaps that was causing the conflict?  The only other mod listed after yours besides ArmorSmith Extended was calyps spartan outfit mod, but those are all standalone outfits so.... no idea..

Anyway, moving yours to the bottom did indeed fix this issue.

Thanks again and thanks for the quick reply

There was no silvershroud folder because they dont belong in the silvershroud folder. Follow my first response, and your textures will work. Also the textures you see in Outfit Studio are not always the actual textures so you can't just assume that is correct.

Sweety - please don't yell. Some of us who visit your amazing thread actually "don't" really know what we are doing and need just a little more guidance. Also, as a newbie to modding, I wouldn't have thought to look for textures in a materials folder, at least for this game. Seems to vary from game to game. Now I know ^_^

As a suggestion - You may want to put an FAQ under your main post since it seems like something that ruffles feathers .. often...

Something like this

Q: "Hey, my sexy girls look like they were dipped in purple goo.. why? /pout Q.Q"

A: "Lookee here, check that your BSGM files were copied properly, have a donut"

The BSGM files did infact do the trick - Thanks Kargrin /hugs. Some how when I 'sploded the zip not all of the files were copied correctly.  I was missing the blackwidow folder entirely. So after manually moving them into place.. Yay!! no more purple.

I still dont know why we need .bgsm´s in addition with meshes and textures, but ok Bethesda.

You can even point a texture in the nif and the material will always overlap it.

I still dont know why we need .bgsm´s in addition with meshes and textures, but ok Bethesda.

Especially since, from what I've seen so far at least, they're just texture sets, which worked just fine and are still present in the game, and used in the game, and still work just fine.

I've been trying to add the "Hardbody" body to these clothes/armors and it is driving me crazy. It can't be done the same way as shown HERE. That works for vanilla armors, but not 2pacs. Can anyone offer some help getting the hardbody added to one of these sets, I'd love to learn how so I can have these amazing armors with those abs.

Thanks.
