I have never used Bad Dog's schlongs, so I can't vouch for it.

But the edited schlongs don't look "distorted" for me though, unless our definitions of distorted are vastly different.

Maybe not very distorted, but it's too obvious that it's stretching into a placement it wasn't built for (specially at the base). Plus, it makes the seam between body and schlong way more obvious even if you use seamless textures, so it doesn't help either.

 

To each their own, I guess. Not good enough for me, but for others it may be neat.

It looks alright on schlongs built in Bodyslide but the pre-built ones are thrown out of whack when that adjustment is made to them.

They can be as much tall as their creator (artist, 3d-moddeler, writer) wants.

From 120cm lolis and up to intergalactic+infinity size.

Since futas are the creation of someone's imagination, there are no restrictions.

I know it is only a fiction but I just want to know which height is still ok for skyrim animations to match ok.

Default  Nord or Imperial height should be ok, I think (1.05-1.00 in terms of game scale).

But it all depends on the animation.

I think most animators build their anims for same-size characters, i.e. 1.0 male and 1.0 female (there may be some that don't, but I don't recall seeing any). If you enable the "Even Actors Height" option in the SL MCM menu, it should automatically rescale all NPCs so they have the same size during the animations and thus everything aligns properly; that means you can choose whatever scale you want because SL will take care of changing it during anims.

 

You should still bear in mind my previous post in the thread about male and female SOS placements not matching, which means all futas will have alignment problems with schlongs when using male animations even if the scale is a perfect match.

most do, there are some that don't but i can't remember which ones.

Already posted it in the YA thread, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to have it here as well. I just finished working on the new textures for Bad Dog's female sheath schlong to fit the new Lykaios body and took some pics.

There is an option just below the Even Actors Height one that's called "Scene Startup Crash Prevention" or something like that. It comes enabled by default needs to be disabled to be able to enable the Even one. Try disabling it and see if that removes the "greyed out" thing from the other one.
