I'm not 100% on this but give it a go. Should have an MCM though. You haven't got the original Slaverun installed have you? Reloaded is a totally separate mod. Your comment about the 'alpha' version is puzzling.

I was using the 1.02 version. Didn't realise there was an update. And to make matters worse I got confused with Things in the Dark. TID is the mod where you pick up the rumours. SR should just kick-in. Only thing I could suggest is to roll back to the 1.02 version if it's still there.

Grey Cloud Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 cdr.Shepard, Might be worth posting the name of the culprit for the benefit of others.
El_Duderino Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 I cant get the alpha version to work, ... I mean the version 2.0 of Slaverun Reloaded which is a "alpha" version Okay sorry. I was using the 1.02 version. Didn't realise there was an update. ... That alpha of version 2 from the download page was not intended for a proper playthrough. As I recall, Kenjoka said several pages back that it was only a teaser for what's to be included in the full version 2 and as such isn't really usable for a proper game. Use 1.02 if you want to play the game or even better wait for the release of the real version 2 which might happen soon (see Kenjoka's last post, one or two pages back). Updating from 1.02 to 2.0 during a playthrough might not be easy or even possible, Skyrim usually doesn't like it when quest mods are being updated in a savegame.
unmog Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 I have a quick question for everyone here whos using the mod. I notice when I go into the companions that Farkas and Vilkas can't train me in heavy armor or two handed weapons. When I talk to them even when the skill is low at like 10 they tell me "Sorry you already know everything I know." Does this happen to anyone else, is this caused by this mod? I ask since it does greatly tinker around with Whiterun and I dont remember the problem before, and this was one of my more recent mods. So I figured Id first look here first This mod doesn't touch skills, pretty sure you've got something else causing problems. I didnt say it touched skills, I was saying it maybe touched the NPC's Farkas and Vilkas which is why they cant give training anymore. Other trainers still work other than them. Does Farkas and Vilkas still give training for you or do they say you already know everything?

Can't say a lot more than that as I've not touched the companions in this playthrough. Chuck your load order in a txt or on pastebin maybe? Otherwise you can look at what makes changes to them in TES5edit. Edit: Just checked myself, Slaverun doesn't touch them. The only one I have that makes changes, is USLEEP. Instead I used the crazy bonehead method of disabling and re-enabling all the mods one at a time... it took a lot of time I did find out the culprit too... very surprising indeed. The mod that was doing this was actually the unofficial skyrim legendary edition patch. Ikr? Who would have thought, but I narrowed it down to that mod 100% by enabling it in a vanilla playthrough, losing the ability to train with Farkas and Vilkas, then disabling it again and low and behold now I can. I cant possibly imagine this change was intentional and I figured it was going to "obviously" be one of these incomplete mods or a mod that messed with npcs in general but no, it was the USLE patch. :/ Dunno if I can keep using it after this, ya have no idea how annoying it was and how long it took me to pin point it down... the patch should be fixing things not breaking them. Whats worse is lots of other mods require it. But looking at the nexus site it seems others are also reporting bugs caused by it so I dunno anymore. I think this experience has forever sullied the shiny reputation of that patch for me. How easy, or hard, would it be to fix this issue?

I strongly suggest you try that before deciding to remove USLEEP, pm/reply if you have problems. It's most likely something conflicting with USLEEP rather than USLEEP itself.
Grey Cloud Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Good advice from Yuuen. And just to clarify, the instructions are for TES5Edit.

Wheres the second E come from? theres only one. It seems a stretch to use a second E for sleep just because legendary has an E after the L. :/ Would otherwise be USLEP But no... Im fairly confident its the patch, once I knew what I was looking for I was able to find one other place through google talking about it, apparently it has something to do with the unofficial dawnguard patch which was all merged together and now cant be moved in different orders. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim_talk:Trainers#Farkas_and_Vilkas_no_longer_Master_Trainers_in_Dragonborn.3F Did you check the file via TES5 edit or see if you could train with them when using the mod? Thatd be the easiest way to confirm. Me, Im 100% its causing the issue. Like I said Ive tried disabling all the mods and playing vanilla and re-enabling them one at a time. Theres absolutely no way I can see that theres some conflict with some other mod. I did notice the patch mentioned it was bashed so maybe it was bashed incorrectly, but it wasnt bashed by me since I tried reinstalling it from scratch. Anyway Im consdering being done with it entirely.
Grey Cloud Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Unmog, You asked for advice and yuuen gave you good advice which you chose to ignore. If you are convinced it is USLEEP then go ahead and uninstall it and see how your game runs then. Don't forget to report back with your results. Also report your findings to the USLEEP team.
unmog Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 I didn't ignore anything, I read and considered the advice. I just dont plan to bother with TES5 edit since Im not familiar with it. I did already report my findings, so if anyone wants to confirm if USLEP is doing the same thing they can. Since this topic isnt about USLEP though Im not expecting anyone to do anything however. If anyone does check with TES5 edit or simply go to the companions with the mod installed to double check please do report back however as Id be interested in finding out.

I'm no expert with TES5Edit either and am just learning how useful it is. I've just followed yuuen's instructions with only Skyrim and USLEEP loaded and it did not not show any conflicts. The only thing USLEEP seemed to have changed with Farkas (I couldn't find Vilkas) was his armour and skills. His trainer related entries were identical. I can't help with going to Farkas as I have a trainer mod installed, I'm currently held captive by the Falmer (TID), I have a lot of the vanilla stuff either nullified or tweaked and I don't currently have SR loaded (though it's still installed). Not sure if it's relevant or related but I recently started having trouble with trainers, e.g. the orc smith in Markarth. The dialogue option is there but when you click on it she says 'I'll reach you some of what I know' and then nothing happens. My trainer mod still works (Skyrim Community College). I recently installed the DD mods and Zaz as dependencies for various mods plus the mods themselves (e.g. SR). The timescale fits but I've not bothered investigating as it's only a minor inconvenience.
unmog Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Hmm I found out that it isnt USLEP exactly... a friend redownloaded skyrim and installed just the unofficial patch and it worked. After looking around I think theres maybe some incompatibility with this and the Sexlab trainers mod. Ill have to do more testing but the good news is there is apparently a different one that works better and does more so woot?
grc001 Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Hey guys, I am at the part where <spoiler> you tell Camilla that she has been sold</spoiler> and I find that she is not in the Trader Shop, but underwater in the moat in Slaverun! I can't move her to me but I can go to her. However, she is not clickable and I cannot talk to her. What can I do? Any help would be peachy! Gray Try using "prid 13488" to select her before using "moveto player". I'd suggest doing it somewhere that she should normally be, just so that she can get back to her usual AI. hi there. Nope that didn't work. hmm...can I skip the quest or something?

Hell even if you just gave me your load order I would've been able to point it out. Anywho, best get rid of it, but I don't know any replacements you can use. There's a chance they may just have the same problem.
unmog Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 Tes5 Edit just seems so difficult to understand and intuitive. Im not stupid, though maybe a bit lazy, just it seems to make modding much more complicated than what it should be. Digging through all those lines of code and looking for irregularities, and if you dont know what your looking for exactly... Im sure its great once you get it but that initial learning curve demotivates me from looking into it further. Im also sure theres probably videos on youtube about it but for most modding it simply isnt necessary to spend the time in that much an extent to begin using it. I do appreciate the offer of assistance though, but dont remember anyone asking for a load order. Not that it matters much anymore, I noticed I couldnt get my creation kit for skyrim to work and used steam to verify the cache since it wouldnt download and was saying missing file permissions and bam, it deleted my whole skyrim folder... o.o word to the wise never verify anything I guess...

Are you confusing TES5Edit with a Papyrus log? You don't have to dig through lines of code in TES5Edit.
unmog Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 No, Im not confusing it. When I looked at Tes5 Edit its full of nothing but lines of information for code. It might not be full lines of code but its still just code and various statistics. Like I was saying, and I noticed I typod, but it just feels unintuitive.

Green lines means things that are the same (not changed), and yellow ones will show things that has been changed. (Can also get other colours if more things change the same thing, but any mod making a change will show up in the top) *(Farkas in this case)

Learning to use TES5EDIT can help you make a lot of minor tweaks to mods to personalize them.

The training dialog came in 10 of 10 tries for Vilkas and Farkas. I payed the money and the training counter increased, but in 2 tries I didn't get a skill increase. So it doesn't work for me 100 % correct also, but I am 99.9 % sure this isn't because of slaverun
