used to watch MTV all the time

When it launched it was amazing. 5 V-Jays, doing '8' hour shifts, 24/7. I don't even think there were commercials in the early years. Like HBO - people weren't used to long programming without the usual TV bullshit - so I remember falling asleep trying to watch multiple movies at once from the comfort of ones own couch. Now people pay for commercials on cable.

I only use the internet/PC for entertainment now - binge stream, youtube (adblock), or gaming.

The boss battle in Alpha protocol almost ruined this song for me.   It was super hard since I was trying to not kill anyone and had not done the Taiwan mission set first.  The video clip below shows the boss battle if you do the Taiwan mission first and can spike the cocaine that Brayko is using.

I like hardcore punk when it borders on metal. And crust punk especially. These dudes were killin' it in the early 80's.

Spoiler

Amebix was an interesting band. They were a street punk (as we didn't have the term "crust" back then) who squatted with Disorder and UK Decay. Jello Biafra found them interesting enough to sign them onto his Alternative Tentacles label

They are an interesting band. I like 90's stuff a lot more, but some early crust punk holds up for me. It seems darker and way more aggressive/extreme than other stuff I hear from that era. I understand the term didn't exist then, but they are considered progenitors of the style.
