Hi, I've got a problem:every time I loose to a monster and I haven't any animation for it installed, I need to restart the mod via console, or I can't use anything (E key) and I'm not enemy with no one. Is this a known issue?

Another possible issue is that when an NPC robs the player, the items go into his/her inventory. While this is entirely logical and immersive, there can be serious  problems with it:

- the NPC uses the PC's items. Uses up charges from staffs, reads scrolls, drinks potions. If the character had some really unique weapon/gear, he/she can become unbeatable.

- there is no quest marker on the NPC, can be really hard to find him/her

- the NPC can despawn will all the items of the player. I had a similar experience with Cursed loot - the pointer showed only an empty spot on the ground, all my gear lost. I'd suggest use some similar method of Naked Dungeons, which is very good at keepint the items safe.

 

 

Another very important thing is that currently upon defeat the character drops the equipped weapon/shield on the ground. This is a sure way to lose equipment, which then leads to reload. Item can be lost in water, high grass. It can slide down on mountainside. It can be catapulted away by spell effects. Etc. So it is a musthave to include a checkbox for unequipping the gear instead of dropping it.

 

 

Thanks for the feedback. The screen should always fade back in as it is controlled by a quest scene which should always complete. It does sound like a conflict between the 2 mods. I have no idea what the Sands of Time modifies in terms of handling the player's death.

 

All the other points are "features" of this mod :P Seriously, I will get round to looking at this mod again and changing the way a few things work. I appreciate that some people don't want to lose items etc.

 

Personnally i like to lose my items but i know people also want to keep their items, maybe an option between both world

 

Yay ! :) i am curious to see what is next for this mod, i like it the way it is working already so more improvments is amazing.

found couple bugs using 0.6lite version, when attacked by animal, after getting raped then being attacked by bandits, mod remembers last attacker i.e. animal and plays that while bandit moved on..

 

trap damage seems glitchy i.e. when u die, character gets stuck in the down animation.

Thanx for the mod man, I really enjoy your approach on character death and this is exactly what I was looking for.

 

You see, I ve tried pretty much every mod available and wasn't content. My ideal senario is player defeated --> gets punished --> continue adventuring on the spot. I dont want to run around looking keys, teleporting to inns, temples, changing factions, pleasing deadric lords or shrines etc.

Don't get me wrong, these mods have their own flavor, but I just want to be able to explore skyrim and find an immersive way of punishment on the spot if I am defeated.

 

I haven't encountered any game breaking bugs-mechanics yet playing around with lite version, maybe some things here and there need polishing (eg after suicide senario my character stays down til I hit the jump button. Also when a bandit tied me to a wheel I was able to move around, till the scene of my follower breaking his bonds and releasing me after finished <-- dude that was amazing!!!!)

 

I like the way items are being stolen (and seriously... enemies get to use your gear? I read it above in a comment <-- that is awesome too!!!), but what about quest items? Or maybe (bear with me here) I have the wig from nier automata armor (this thing is awesome) and I don't want my character unequipping that particular item as it breaks immersion... Maybe have sexlab framework manage the items getting stolen? I don't know if that's possible :)

 

Quest marker on who has your gear would be nice too.

Optional use of devious devises would be even nicer too.

 

Keep up the good work man!!! (I wish I could make mods to be able to help you out with this one, sadly I don't)

 

 

Edit : i don't have creature animations install, because... reasons. When a creature defeats me a messages pop up, my character surrenders, but since there are no animations she gets up imediately and I can go on, but :

I can't open the inventory or favorites tab, can't activate things (pressing E) etc

If I kill the attacker everything goes to normal, but he drops down in one knee even if it is a mudcrab (essential flag?)

If the attacker (or a different one for that matter) defeats me again, everything goes back to normal too.

Maybe have the suicide senario occur for people like me who don't have creature animations?

 

Edit 2 : a bug? I 'm outside of whiterun and I hear the guards fighting some bandits so I decide to go help them out. One of the bandits (female if that matters) shoots me down with an arrow, my char gets down on her knees tied up and everyone stops fighting (guards, bandits, followers) and moves on with his buissnes, leaving me on the ground tied up.

I have the same problem: i've installed creatures animation but apparently the sphere hasn't got any, so when it kills me happened the same thing happened to you. 

a speedy workaround i found is zoom out in 3rd person, select your character, open the console and type kill. apparently it resets something so it will return at her normal working. 

i have another problem: english is not my first language, so please use a workaround and try to understand what i wrote with some imagination XD

Hi guys. I tried the LITE version recently and it is great. I am obiously missing thecreature animations and I spotten from time to time that some furniture and devious assets are not shown and some animations from sexlab are not running correctly, but nothing critical. I haven't spotted such failures in the older V2.2, but used it for only short time.

 

I found the rape to be useless when defeated by a woman, some form of punishment would be more appropriate. I spotted this only 1 time that after a rape scene PC was bound to some furniture and whipped. Please, it there some way how to

 

1) replace the rape scenes from sexlab with the whipping scenes of bound PC

2) use random zaz weapons (Cane / Crop / Paddle / CatONine)

Hello, I just installed your Mod. But I can not activate the options in the MCM menu. Maybe it's because the mod is old enough and does not work with Skui5? (I do not have death alternative installed).
I can enable/disable the "Basic mod option" but not the "critical failure punishments" and "final punishment" (i have instaled the version 2.2)

SS is not required. If you don't have it, you get dropped off at a random location with a bounty on your head, as before.

Really pleased to hear that this isn't dead!  I liked the early incarnations, as they were the cleanest mods of their kind at the time, and the nightmare that is Death Alternative wasn't needed!  LOL

 

I was just going to try out this version, 2.2 full, in a new game as an alternative to Defeat and DCL's combat rape

 

Forr timing purposes, can you help me, and hopefully others too, please, with any idea as to

 

- when this might see the update?

- if it will be just one or both of 2.2 and LITE?

- if what you're thinking about will require a new game, a clean save, or just an overwrite?

 

TIA for any advice you can offer

Look forward to seeing Final Punishments implemented, adds a lot of vore fetish and paraded in public kink, the LITE version works well and will be great to see what you come up with when you get the time!

Yes it can be compatible

Just be sure to uncheck the essential/bleedout option in defeat

 

So when youre wounded defeat kicks in and when you die Devious Surrender kicks in

That would be awesome!

 

I really like how fast and smooth this mod is. The idea is great, it just needs some skillfull pair of hands to finish it. :P
