This will be a long one.
 
I did some testing, after I resolved some problems with my SexLab Installation.
I didn't test with beds and restarted the game every time before I tested a setting.
 
 
MatchMaker:
No problems.
 
1.
Your mod (standard settings), SL (standard settings) all animations + NSLA together:
Vorstag: No Problems.
Eric: Nothing happens. I was all set to say it could be because Erik's first encounter uses different code, because that's what I intended (he's a virgin), but I double-checked, and on looking at his source it seems like I forgot to implement that (unless I'm reading my own code wrong, which is honestly quite possible :) ). To whit, his first code is identical to his second. No idea why it would be causing problems... is his second encounter also not firing properly? He uses the "loving" tag by default, so if you're having problems with him you should also be having problems with Onmund, Brelyna, Mjoll, Erandur, Illia, and Golldir... I could test them as well, if needed. I just had to figure out, how to get them without doing their quests.
Cosnach: No Problems.
Custom (Nord): No Problems.
 
I'm not sure, if this are actual bugs caused by your mod:
Minor glitch, where the camera was stuck in 1st person until I switched to 3rd. Automatic free camera was disabled. Nope, not this mod, that's a common issue with SL I believe. I used to have a similar problem, can't remember how I fixed it... I think it had to do with "camera speed" or something like that in the SL settings, a slider just below the "use third person" toggle... I think it might have something to do with always setting the value to 6, but I dunno, I can't see how or why that would fix the issue, so it might be something else. Sorry I can't help with that one. No problem, thank you anyway :)

Eric: Nothing happens. Okay, third time causing the same problems with different settings, this is looking more and more like it's this mod, not your problem. Give me a bit to get into game and test it on my end, see if I can hunt down the issue. Thank you :)
Cosnach: No Problems.
Custom (Nord): No Problems.

Custom (Nord): PC disappears (tested several times). Again, what? It's confusing... the generic racial stuff is using the same script as other followers. Vorstag, for example, is identical. Why the PC would be disappearing has got me scratching my head. You tried matchmaker with no problems, did you try it on him too? Well, Mr. Custom was humping the air in several positions xD He is located in the Bannered Mare. When I started the animation, the camera got teleported where Mikael uses to perform. My character was gone the whole time the animation played. Yes, I did test matchmaker with Mr. Custom too. I'm also using Spouses Enhanced and Mr. Custom did fine as husband :>

 

I hope, the results are useful in some way :)

EDIT: Try putting this file into your data/scripts folder (say yes to overwrite), see if that might fix the problem with Erik not triggering...?

Test results (with changed script file):

 

1.

Eric: PC and camera got teleported away (tested 3 times). No landmass, only sky box and modded lod objects.

 

3.

Your mod (receiver + disable tags), SL (standard settings) all animations + NSLA together:

Eric: No Problems.

 

4.

Your mod (receiver + disable tags), SL (custom settings) almost no animations + NSLA:

Eric: PC disappears (tested 2 times). Next time PC and camera got teleported away (same as 2.)

 

1 & 3: I had some camera glitches again, but as you said, it's not your mods fault.

I keep looking at that "the choice is yours" mod. I need to download and try it... I'm wondering how it works. Does it hijack conversations (which is what I would do if I were making a mod like that, because I don't know of any other way to do it seamlessly), and in that case, is it compatible with other mods like Sexlab Solutions?

No, it doesn't really modify conversations I think, it makes it so that unless you actively look into rumours nothing is added to your journal; or if you hear people talking about stuff at worst a marker is added to your map, and it gives you an additional dialogue choice to basically say "not my problem" (not the exact words, that depends on the quest) to conversations which would normally start quests.

 

As far as I can tell it doesn't cause conflicts with Solutions, which I used (or rather, had active... I never really used it) in a previous playthrough. Same with other mods that add dialogue options.

The option to deal with things by copulating with them was there, so I guess it was working.

I mean, there surely is something that conflicts with it out there, but I haven't come across it.

Before 'Do You Know Who I Am' I force-greeted radiant thieves with an arrow to the face...

 

 

Bad choice. You should have greeted them with an arrow to the knee instead of the face. Then they could get gainful employment as town guardsmen.

 

 

Unless I've missed it the "pegging" from Shadows Of Mordor has yet to be modded into Skyrim.

 

Then you could shoot people in the knee and fix them in place while you choose your coup de grace.

Looks ripe for some re-positioning of the words, and it becomes less of a euphemism and more of a direct reference.

Can i start a request for no-force greets :) as they have a tendancy to fuck up scripted events from other mods

 

Also if the circumstances of the force greet is that a women really wants sex now and will jump you i think a force greet that you can then tab out of isn't the best solution either, the NPC stating some dialogue and then immediately triggering sex would make more sense (and not require a force greet)

This is actually what I was asking about initially, then I misunderstood the responses and thought that it was another type of force greet.

I was thinking something like this...

Talk to Rayya and do everything like is there already.

Once you have had her once she decides you move too slow and just assaults you randomly without a need to tell you ahead of time, aside from maybe a single idle comment that says something like "I waited long enough, I am having this (start scene with player)"

I'm walking along, stalking this dragon, sneaking up, I've got my shot lined up perfectly, gonna get a sneak attack with extra poison damage, and BAM Rayya (or whoever) spins me around and says "TIME FOR SEX!" followed by vigorous humping. The dragon gets alerted because the arrow went off-target, but lucky me, this one time he doesn't attack, because he just sits there laughing his ass off, watching these two monkey-people banging, one of them screaming "PUT IT IN ME RIGHT NOW!" and the other one screaming "YOU DAFFY BITCH, THERE'S A TIME AND A PLACE FOR IT AND THIS ISN'T IT!"

 

I mean, I could try to lay conditions on there like makeup on Tammy Faye Bakker (not when sneaking, not in a dungeon, not when weapon out, added a script-heavy cloak spell that checks for the presence of enemies nearby, etc etc) but I know I'm still gonna miss something, or the conditions won't pan out right, or something. And that's just on top of the fact that I really don't like force greets!

 

I gotta say, the more I think about it, the less I like the idea.

 

 

Examples:

 

HELLO DIALOGUE

--Idle dialogue that is said whenever you get close enough to the NPC.

I used to be an adventurer like you. Then I took an arrow in the knee.

Where are these vampires coming from? We need to do something to wipe them out!

Do you ever get to the cloud district? Oh, what am I saying, of course you don't.

 

FORCE GREET

--Whenever an NPC grabs your attention directly for any reason.

Excuse me, but do you know anything about this house? Seen anyone enter or leave?

Halt! City's closed with dragons about. Official business only.

I've been looking for you. Got something I'm supposed to deliver - your hands only.

 

NORMAL DIALOGUE

--Everything else (more or less).

 

There are other types (goodbye flagged, blocking, etc) but from the player's perspective they're all pretty much subsets of normal.

I'm glad the new script has fixed Eric, not completely sure why he was broken in the first place, but I have my suspicions... if true, I'd need to re-check every follower to make sure, so I'll get around to it sometime. :)

 

The problem with PC and camera teleportation to a weird place is almost certainly not this mod. You're the only one reporting this (so far), and I haven't seen it anywhere either, and in any case this mod does absolutely nothing with the camera or anything like that. Same for the PC disappearing. I'd put the blame on Sexlab settings... I'm not sure where else it might be coming from. :(

 

At any rate, thank you very much for your testing and feedback. The fixed Erik file is going into the next update (whenever that may be).

You did a good job here. I'm sure you'll continue to do so :)

Yes, I was wondering if this teleporting stuff might be a problem with SL settings, too...

I'll reset my settings to the default ones (exept for the animations) and test it again. Maybe there are some settings which are bad or needed. Maybe the results will be of use for a trouble shooting section in the future.

Only the dialogue works for me. When I click on the dialogue option, it just ends and then I can pick a new option in the dialogue menu.

Have you disabled a large number of animations in Sexlab?

Also, certain followers have certain restrictions on their animations... see this post (specific tags and receiver settings). For example, Torvar only likes Anal sex, so if you've disabled all anal animations in Sexlab the sex won't trigger properly.

 

If that is the case, you can disable the "followers use tags" setting in the MCM and the mod will use any animation available to Sexlab.

Hi,

maybe I misunderstood something, but does this mod only works for Vanilla followers? I have some followers, from vanilla races, most of them are made with Familiar faces, except one. I'm also using AFT for follower management. I have every requirements installed, but the dialogue option doesn't show up :/ Or it won't? Please help me!

It's probably because of something similar to what happens with Serana and Armored Trolls. They don't follow the same currentfollower faction thingy-me-code that RYF hooks into. AFT might be one for the incompatibility list.

It's weird... some people report that non-vanilla follower overhauls work fine, others it doesn't work.

But Thermius is right... everything except for Serana is based on whether or not a follower is in the currentfollower faction (the faction that vanilla Skyrim uses to track who is... well, who is your current follower. :) ). So non-vanilla followers will work as long as they use the vanilla follower framework, but mods like UFO or AFT might not work properly.

 

EDIT: The armored trolls are a different story, actually, even from Serana...

 

Followers made with Familiar Faces should work fine as long as they also are part of the currentfollower faction.

 

 

I haven't been able to do much in Skyrim for a while now (playing or modding), but I do intend to someday test out the "isplayerteammate" (or whatever it's called) instead of currentfollower faction... if it works properly, it *should* handle followers made with UFO/AFT/whatever.

I used it in JUGs when Vilja and Sophia and Serana and several others would not pass the CurrentFollowerFaction test.

They pass the isPlayerTeammate test.

 

So now I check for CurrentFollowerFaction OR isPlayerTeammate.

If either one is true, they pass... :)

 

I'm sure there will be SOMETHING out there that breaks that, but I haven't come across it yet.
