Content Consumer Posted May 18, 2015 Author Posted May 18, 2015 I use EFF and has been working fine with it. No kidding? Well, good! I didn't think it would. Anyone using any other follower mods?
Sun Shang Xiang Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Yes, I too use EFF and there has been no problem for me either. However, I must say this: Since I have Viconia with me, I have noticed that she has a dialogue option from your mod. Is this intentional or is it possible that she is considered a Dunmer by your mod and given those lines automatically?
pinky6225 Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I use EFF and has been working fine with it. No kidding? Well, good! I didn't think it would. Anyone using any other follower mods? Using AFT with Serana and i have her dialogues, it is true though she is treated differently to other followers and has different dialogue to get her to follow (by default she's the only follower that does the AFT style relax as soon as you idle - recall reading AFT was actually based off her)
Budroi Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 using AFT and only Lydia so far has no dialogue, everyone else i tested was fine. Turns out the MCM descriptions are adequate enough to know what her dialogue was supposed to be. and it was working prior to updating to 3a MCM has a 2 next to her but the dialogue has disappeared in 3a. *Side note* Good job on Rayya's, that dialogue had me laughing.

However, I must say this: Since I have Viconia with me, I have noticed that she has a dialogue option from your mod. Is this intentional or is it possible that she is considered a Dunmer by your mod and given those lines automatically? If she is using any vanilla playable race, she should have a generic dialogue for that race. The generic racial dialogues are a bit more simplistic than others, though, and so are their scripts... but yeah, that's intentional. Using AFT with Serana and i have her dialogues, it is true though she is treated differently to other followers and has different dialogue to get her to follow (by default she's the only follower that does the AFT style relax as soon as you idle - recall reading AFT was actually based off her) Hmm... maybe I need to take a look at AFT, then. using AFT and only Lydia so far has no dialogue, everyone else i tested was fine. If you've previously talked to Lydia and told her that she's not being forced into anything, she won't have dialogue. Turns out the MCM descriptions are adequate enough to know what her dialogue was supposed to be. and it was working prior to updating to 3a MCM has a 2 next to her but the dialogue has disappeared in 3a. Makes sense... that's a holdover from a previous version... I should have reset them all on updating. My bad. I recommend either setting her back to 0 or 1, or hitting the "reset RWRD states" button on the right column, that should reset everyone back to default. Currently, if anyone is at RWRD state 2, they shouldn't be... they should be somewhere between -1 and 1. *Side note* Good job on Rayya's, that dialogue had me laughing. Thanks!

Sun Shang Xiang Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Well, Viconia isn't using any vanilla race. In fact, she has her own race, Drow. However, Drow are dark elves, and it isn't impossible that they are considered Dunmer, even if she isn't a vanilla race. Also, she has a dialogue option that shouldn't be available for her. It's about Amulet of Mara. In its normal state, you would have to win over her heart to be able to marry her. And now she has the "Interested in me, are you?" option whenever I wear the Amulet.
Rabblerouser Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 I'd personally like to apologize for saying your mod caused my manly orc to have lesbian animation triggers. It may have still caused some other issues, but even with your mod uninstalled, I'm having issues with my tough orc triggering lesbian animations.
Thermius Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 I'd personally like to apologize for saying your mod caused my manly orc to have lesbian animation triggers. It may have still caused some other issues, but even with your mod uninstalled, I'm having issues with my tough orc triggering lesbian animations. I had something similar where certain animations put characters in the wrong role. Getting raped by a spriggan would, for instance, result in my PC doing the actual assault... It could have been SD+, but then again it could be a resource SD+ uses. Maybe the position for the victim is tagged wrong in the animation, who knows... In all likelihood it would be the position in the animation. I'd say; 'Take it like a man'
Rabblerouser Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 I don't have SD+ installed, had too many problems with it. Anyways, it could very likely be Sexlab Romance... I'm about to go in and try Matchmaker or Defeat to trigger animations and see if they cause my orc to suddenly think he's a lesbian.
BlackFairy Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Thank you! You are very welcome Urgh... not sure why it's not working right for you. Many characters use specific tags, but I believe most of those tags are present in NSLAP, right? I mean, I think the only tags I use are aggressive, dirty, loving, missionary, oral, anal. And those, IIRC, are also on several of the NSLAP animations. The list of tags is located on the first post. Note that this post is a bit different from what's actually in v2a, but like 99% of the tags are accurate. Are you possibly using a follower that only likes aggressive animations? Like, I think in v2a I set all Orcs, generic Altmer, all Vampires, and a few specific followers like Jordis and Marcurio and a couple others to use aggressive only tags? Vampires in particular use both Aggressive and Oral tags, so if your follower is a vampire, that makes sense. Otherwise, I haven't a clue. Mh, they should be the same, I guess, at least I never had any problems. It's really strange... I tested with a custom nord follower (nothing special) and Eric the Slayer. Both only used NSLAs aggressive blowjob and then nothing, when I deactivated it. Therefore NPCs either do nothing Do you have a lot of animations in Sexlab disabled? That could be the problem, for example if you have all anal animations turned off, Torvar won't engage in sex. I'm sorry, I accidentally deleted a part of my text where I state that I don't use most of SL standard animations... >.<I tested your mod and NSLA with and without SL animations. SL animations where fine, so I thought there might be something wrong with NSLA. Is there a way to fix this? Not right now. In the future, yes. Well, kinda. In v3 (coming soon) you'll be able to turn off all tag settings, so those followers that DO have specific tags will just use any animation available. At least, it should work like that, but considering I don't know why it's having problems in v2a that's not guaranteed... ????? Awww... but that kinda ruins your hard work on their personalities... :/ I think I'll try with another follower. Perhaps in the meanwhile the problem is gone , as I had to start a new game. I dunno.Ah, and I actually had an idea for this mod. I don't know if it's possible, but I guess there are several young and inexperienced followers in Skyrim, like Eric and Golldir (I don't know the girls that well). How about some kind of levelling progress for characters like those? They start clumsy and at some point end with an actual preference.

Oh, I thought she used vanilla race (dark elf). Doesn't matter, though, there's still a line for non-vanilla races (I actually forgot about that... derp), that's what she's getting. I have no idea about the amulet of mara thing, though. This mod doesn't alter anything with that quest, and currently doesn't change vanilla relationshiprank at all either. I'd personally like to apologize for saying your mod caused my manly orc to have lesbian animation triggers. It may have still caused some other issues, but even with your mod uninstalled, I'm having issues with my tough orc triggering lesbian animations. Must be a Sexlab thing then, I'd guess. I'd personally like to apologize for saying your mod caused my manly orc to have lesbian animation triggers. I'm about to go in and try Matchmaker or Defeat to trigger animations and see if they cause my orc to suddenly think he's a lesbian. You're not the first person to have problems with animations triggering that are toggled off in Sexlab. Specific animations can be deliberately called by modders, which bypasses Sexlab's toggled states, but if an animation is called by tag instead of by name it should obey the rules. At least, I think that's how it works.

Budroi Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 I just checked, and there's an error in how I implemented the "Reset RWRD States" button. It doesn't work. Next version will fix this. For now, you'll need to set individual NPCs using the sliders instead. This worked on resetting my Lydia. Thanks Much. And I know I already said this but I feel it deserves a second comment. Great job on Rayya!!! This mod in specific moved her significantly up my list of favorite followers. Now if only her threat about jumping me if i make her wait any longer wasn't just empty dialogue. Any chance that those who have dialogue like hers could be made to auto initiate if made to wait too long. Perhaps set on a configurable timer? Or is that outside the scope of this mod?

You're the third person to request a sort of force-greet system for some followers. I figure I'll wait until like maybe fifteen or twenty people request it, because I'm sort of not liking the idea of force-greets for this... It's not beyond possibility, I'm just not totally comfortable doing it, because I dislike it when I am forced to initiate conversations with NPCs. Like, sometimes I dread going into Riften the first time because dammit, Brynjolf comes up and accosts me. Or Markarth, and the Vigilant of Stendarr there. That's just my attitude, though... I dunno, maybe I'll add in a toggleable force-greet system. Don't expect it any time soon, though... gods know, with my standard development schedule, it might be a month. If ever.

Content Consumer Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 Not shoving undroppable notes starting crap overlong quests into my inventory, you cunt. (that last sentence sounds really tenuously like a terrible euphemism) Looks ripe for some re-positioning of the words, and it becomes less of a euphemism and more of a direct reference. Not shoving undroppable crap notes into my overlong cunt, you inventory. Not shoving overlong crap into my cunt, you inventory notes. Not crapping overlong inventories into my cunt, you note. The permutations are many, and quite entertaining. This will be a long one. I did some testing, after I resolved some problems with my SexLab Installation. I didn't test with beds and restarted the game every time before I tested a setting. MatchMaker: No problems. 1. Your mod (standard settings), SL (standard settings) all animations + NSLA together: Vorstag: No Problems. Eric: Nothing happens. I was all set to say it could be because Erik's first encounter uses different code, because that's what I intended (he's a virgin), but I double-checked, and on looking at his source it seems like I forgot to implement that (unless I'm reading my own code wrong, which is honestly quite possible ). To whit, his first code is identical to his second. No idea why it would be causing problems... is his second encounter also not firing properly? He uses the "loving" tag by default, so if you're having problems with him you should also be having problems with Onmund, Brelyna, Mjoll, Erandur, Illia, and Golldir... Cosnach: No Problems. Custom (Nord): No Problems. I'm not sure, if this are actual bugs caused by your mod: Minor glitch, where the camera was stuck in 1st person until I switched to 3rd. Automatic free camera was disabled. Nope, not this mod, that's a common issue with SL I believe. I used to have a similar problem, can't remember how I fixed it... I think it had to do with "camera speed" or something like that in the SL settings, a slider just below the "use third person" toggle... I think it might have something to do with always setting the value to 6, but I dunno, I can't see how or why that would fix the issue, so it might be something else. Sorry I can't help with that one. 2. Your mod (standard settings), SL (custom settings) almost no animations + NSLA: Vorstag: No Problems. Eric: Nothing happens. Cosnach: No Problems. Custom (Nord): PC disappears (tested several times). ...what? 3. Your mod (receiver + disable tags), SL (standard settings) all animations + NSLA together: Vorstag: No Problems. Eric: Nothing happens. Okay, third time causing the same problems with different settings, this is looking more and more like it's this mod, not your problem. Give me a bit to get into game and test it on my end, see if I can hunt down the issue. Cosnach: No Problems. Custom (Nord): No Problems. I'm not sure, if this are actual bugs caused by your mod: Minor glitch, where the camera was stuck in 1st person until I switched to 3rd. Cosnach: No Problems. Custom (Nord): PC disappears (tested several times). Again, what? It's confusing... the generic racial stuff is using the same script as other followers. Vorstag, for example, is identical. Why the PC would be disappearing has got me scratching my head. You tried matchmaker with no problems, did you try it on him too? I hope, the results are useful in some way Let's hope so. I'm looking forward to the relationship-system you are developing! EDIT: Try putting this file into your data/scripts folder (say yes to overwrite), see if that might fix the problem with Erik not triggering...? RWRD_TIF__02000DAF.pex

You should have greeted them with an arrow to the knee instead of the face. Then they could get gainful employment as town guardsmen.

If you want Brynjolf to act on common sense: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14157/? Both mods essential to make Skyrim a far less exasperating place, IMO, but sadly I don't think much can be done to prevent forced conversations, except, well, not adding more... Anyway, I'd report bugs and stuff, but I'm not using any other SL mods or additional followers so there's no conflicts and it just works as intended, as far as I've seen... which is a good thing, I think.

Suddenly I'm very happy. I keep looking at that "the choice is yours" mod. I need to download and try it... I'm wondering how it works. Does it hijack conversations (which is what I would do if I were making a mod like that, because I don't know of any other way to do it seamlessly), and in that case, is it compatible with other mods like Sexlab Solutions?
