I think I see the problem. Not 100% sure, but I will re-package and test them.

 

What I see in this package as a possible issue is that the original panties were listed in CAS as bottoms... and as such, they areattached to the bottoms briefs mesh, and not reallyset as an accessory overlay. bongo95 only changed the CAS item designation from bottom to left garter, included the imgs, but all remains attached to bottom briefs.

 

I am so glad to see this!!! As I always give credit to the creators of the original CC that I use in my work, I could not find the original creator I based the panties on that I uploaded... It is Marcos_Edson!!!!! I must update the file to give proper credit!!!!!!!!!

 

Anyway... any accessory that is to be used as an overlay (such as left garter panties in KW) MUST have it's original mesh association removed.

Kind of puts things into perspective when you mention eastern Kentuky in the 1940's and I was thinking about eastern Ukraine in the 1990's!!! ))) Yes, a stick could be fun, and it's funny you mentioned things floating down a river. As my husband and I always talk about these silly things, he told me that when he was a kid (late 60's early 70's), he and the boy across the street would have stick races along the edge of the road after a rain storm. ))) They dropped their stick in the rushing water and cheered as their stick crossed the finishline. ))))))

To both jdw6 and landess... The issue with NPC or townie sims peeing themselves and whining they are hungry is just one of those things I must use MC reset on... just as I do with crying babies and toddlers. ) How annoying is that toddler wah wah wah wah thing with the arms flayling about???

Yeah. Too bad most here in the US can't (or won't) see how things are elsewhere. I see glimpses of parts of the world, thanks to what I watch, where things haven't really changed much in centuries.  The river stuff, was from the early '90s here... had to ford a stream to get to school.

Hmmm... maybe plantsim toddlers don't do that. The last few babies were harvested, not born. lol They're easier to care for, never need changing or food. Almost to where I might use MC to change any human babies until they reach childhood.

@Landess: Ok,you are older than I with BJ (Baujahr) (Date of Construction) ´58. And yes, Serve Meal is a Mod from MTS.

 

Does anybody knows ,how to stop that Mailman peeping in Windows,or throwing trash on my Lawn? When i build a Fence around my property,and lock the Gate.He is standing there 3 fu**in Hours and complaining,that he don´t get in.The Mailbox is outside the fence and this annoys me since KW 392.(I´m using KW 405 now). 

 

And how i stop Sims 3 to create new Sims? Especially the Homeless and Taxi Drivers.They look all the same,and wearing these weird EAxis Clothes and Hats.I can delete them with MC but the next day there are new Taxidrivers,and when i change the Job,Sims 3 spawns new fugly Homeless Sims.

I've resigned myself to just clicking on the mailman & saying "go home" (or reset... or total annihilation... depends on how fugly they are, or mood at the moment). But I seemed to have them "work better" with 399 than 405 (when I tried it). You might give 375 a go & see if things are less annoying for you. (check landess' posts on the last 5 or so pages, he's posted it often).

I've not experimented around with seeing if the KW mailman works differently if the "peeping tom" service is enabled/disabled, but you might give that a go.

 

Question for you: with 405, do you get notifications about "mailman situation" when they show up?  I remembered them with an earlier version (I'm thinking that was 399, but not sure & haven't checked that game's backup yet, if I even have it I found my backup & checked, it was 399) but didn't see them with (I thought) 405. That was one of the reasons I started backtracking to older versions.  (Everyone's technically running a different game, b/c of the many different mods, CC, EPs, and sims' traits we all have, so any given version of KW will probably work slightly differently for each of us.)

I also looked a bit at the 399 vs 405 differences (don't ask how: it's a magic power) and there is a change to the dialog box for showing the mail carrier announcements that I'm not quite sure would still show as notifications (like almost everything else) if the dialog box is disabled. (I did check in that old backup, and I did have the dialog enabled back then, so maybe that's why I was thinking mailmen weren't "working" the same after 405. Dammit! That damn pop-up that pauses everything really breaks the immersion in the game for me. :( 

Adjusting the NRaas Story Progression settings for immigration (read more here:  https://www.nraas.net/StoryProgression-FAQ-Immigration ) will help prevent new people from being added.  (that page also mentions settings in NR's Register mod that you'll probably want to look at)

Not sure what you meant by "taxidrivers", since there aren't any, in the real-world sense. But NPCs do get in a taxi to drive home. Really it's just a car that's painted like a taxi, but they don't pick up fares, so aren't (in my view) actual taxi drivers.  But. On the off-chance you're also wanting to rid your world of the possibly CPU annoying "scenery-only" taxis, read 2nd post here:  https://www.nraas.net/community/chatterbox/topic1952 ... if you're wanting to keep townies from using taxis, there's a setting somewhere... or you could just switch over to each household and buy them a car.

I change the setting on taxi's to -500 in the NRaas / Traffic plug-in. You'll still see taxi's when used, but they pretty much disappear afterwards. Children/teens will use taxi's as well when a bike/driver's license/etc. isn't available, and this will spawn an adult driver.

 

Taxi drivers are one of the role sims which when created by EA, aren't a 'complete' Sim. If one takes them into CAS and saves them to the bin, when chosen as a template for new sims, it can cause issues. I've had sims with pet traits because the game wasn't programmed to work with things like NRaas.

Actually Marcos panies work nice and having this issue as Landess described and guided us how to remove this issue by removing the pantie in CAS, it is easy to straiten out the affected sim now. So, for my part I left them in the game. Once they are registered in KW and the KW settings saved afterwards, they will kept in KW when you reload this KW setting.

 

But if LadySmoks can/will modify and update those, it would be wonderful. Thank you in advance !

You can easily switch this off in the KW settings, the most of those messages appear in the upper right corner of the screen then without stopping the game.

Since I use my German version I can not recall the English name for the setting, but is inside the first one of the three settings for messages in KW I think.

I was about to come here with an error, but I found out that it just wasn't turned on. The mod was turned on, but some of the settings to fully getting working was not set on. So I had to open it and test out each setting in woohoo, to figure out why it wasn't activating with anything and would give me errors each time. I went in KW's woohoo settings, turned on most of the auto run with animations and such. Which it started working after that and no more errors were popping up.

 

Solved case.

She can, and did, and will upload soon. I found a few problems with the ones previously uploaded that jdw6 linked to. What I found is that the "type" and "clothing type" were change, but not the mesh association tag or the overlay priority. When an item is created using the CTU tool, it does not create a new mesh and new resource key number for the new mesh. If your project is to make panties, you choose a syle of panties (mesh) from the CTU library and when CTU generates the new CASP number for your project, it is tagged as using that mesh. So even though the panties were changed to accessory, left garter, they still looked for the mesh to attach to.


The otheris the overlay priority. It tells the game, what goes what. The higher the number, the more it will go over something else. Bottoms are 6. Tops are 5, 6, or 7 depending on whether they hang over the pants or are tucked. Accessories like stockings, garters and panties go under (or aren't seen if wearing pants) and are a 3 or 4. That tag was left at 6 as a bottom, so the panties might want to cover whatever bottom you were using. It could also go over some of my dresses, as they are also set at 6.

THOSE tags weren't changed... I changed them and repackaged from the original MTS file.

 

So, I'll get around to packaging them up and upload them today. )

You are a rare one. I mean, most people can probably figure out why KW or some part of it isn't working, but so few will bother to figure it out themselves. You did, and kudos!

Okay folks... I just uploaded those Marcos Edson MTS panties. I didn't bother to test them, but they should be set up correctly now.

Thanks for posting solutions. Many seem to figure out fixes, or use one someone else posts in reply, but never return to help others with positive results. Many times if I create a new  post looking for help, and that help comes, I'll add the word <Solved> to the beginning of the post so others can navigate to it for REAL answers :)

I included the instance ID for each so it will be easier to install. ) As I said in the upload page, they are basically BETA since I didn't really in game test them,but they are set up the same as mine and Oniki's underwear.

Ok, I just finished adding the 'redo' versions but noticed they use the exact same thumbnails as the originals (which I don't/didn't use, but never removed) so I was forced to try and remove the originals from my MERGED package which included them. Now with them gone (should've done it a long time ago!) my accessories tab is a bit cleaner, and the Sims 3 has a little less 'junk' to deal with.

 

Thank you @LadySmoks for making me get off my ass and finally fix that while actually getting what I wanted in the first place!

Lastly wanted to add: Since the redo versions are using the 'socks/stockings' location in accessories, one needs to use NRaas Master Controller to change settings for 'multiple accessories in same location' if wanting to have the panties and other socks/stockings (CC using these locations as well) worn at the same time. I have multiple toenail polish with the same location and thought others may not realize/use this way of getting their Sim to wear multiple accessories. I guess this was one reason OnikiKay decided to use the garter location in the first place.

 

You'll need to access the NRaas/Master Controller from the 'City Hall' to do this as the option isn't available on a Sim.

Yes... but these thumbnails have reskeys that match the new accessory panties and shouldn't have anything to do with either Marcos Edson's original, or the other remade download.

They shouldn't be. Socks as the base is just so they become a base game overlay accessory instead of making them as an EP3 garter, in case someone doesn't have that EP... the panties may not be recognized by their game. But for the actual CAS, they should be showing in the left garter category.

 

I guess I'll have to throw them in my game to double check them.

No clue to what this actually means, but I 'did' have duplicate thumbnails until I removed the MarcosOKW package from my merged.

 

I have no way to tell exactly which location is used by what, especially when garters and sock locations are right next to each other within the accessories tab. So I don't know where one ends, and the other begins if the object in question 'rides the boundary'. I'm pretty sure the patches from EA will make certain game mechanics available to many, even if the EP in question isn't installed. I call these 'quality of life' patches that enable the game mechanics to use new content.

 

Since I have settings, and EP's installed, it would be hard for me to determine whether everyone 'sees' things the same way my game is set up, so thought it wise to include as much peripheral information as possible.

Doesn't matter. You may need to download an updated package that I'm about to replace the first one with. I did put it in my game to look and there must be something else attached to the original that got cloned also... so, I started from the beginning and made completely new packages.

to Jdw6: My Solution of the Mailman was more cruel.I use the "Agression & Violence"Mod from MTS.A funny Fly Punch doesn´t kill him, but it´s definetily a "Homerun" ;) . The only Dialog from the Mailman i got,is like "Somebody is peeping in ".

"Register" i Have and use,to keep my City clean and ram Use low. But "Story Progression" i had never used,but i will read your link,thank you.

 

I don´t go back to kw 375 or 399.I have not that much Bugs,and there are some new and nice Animations from Oniki i like.Also it seems that there  it uses less CPU Performance and Ram. (Can only speak for my old PC(Core2Duo E8600,3 GB Ram.win7pro.)It uses Between 1.6 and 2.1 GB Ram,and since i Change i never had an Error 12.

 

Yes i meant that role Sims of Taxidrivers.I will test your Solution to give every Sim a Bike,Car,whatever,and will report if it work.

 

PS: The "No -Foot tapping" and "No Coughing at Eating" and "Talk Less,Eat more " "No ZZZ and VVV"  from MTS are all working flawless at Sims3 1.67 with OKW 405

I really need to make a proper package and upload my Harley Quinn guns. They're clones of the desecrate mod on MTS, so you could just kill the mailman! Maybe the next one won't be so bad?

If i understand your Question right, Magna Sonic, you are asking how to make Kinky Selfies and send them to other Sims?

 

First: klick on your Sims Smartphone,choose take Kinky Selfie .2nd klick Again on your Phone,choose Social networking,then send photo text. Choose the Selfie,choose the Sim you want to send the Photo and thats it. The Level of Exhibitionism can be 0, but the Sim /Sim Relationship must be better as Friends.

I use a tool called CC Magic. It merges stuff together, but also separately keeps all the source packages in its own directory. You can go into it and turn off or delete packages, and then recompile them back into the merged content. The dev hasn't touched it in years, but it has always worked just fine for me. It does have a few oddities and bugs in its UI, but I've never had it fail to actually combine packages or change the content.

@ Landess : with any Computer you have access to the Settings of NRaas Mods.you don´t need to go to Map View,search the City Hall and get to the Settings.Get  your Sim a Laptop in the Inventory(Little Thing for Efficiency )

 

To Harley ,ehm Lady Smoks : I don´t want to kill the Mailman. I can use Register to do that.My Question was, how i can revert the Changes that Oniki has Build in. I don´t know the exact Version of OKW where it started,but i don´t like the Changes of the Mailman. I would be happy if i can change the Time he stays on my Lot with Retuner,but i have not found that yet. PS: If all Mailman looks like that you posted,than there i was less annoyed ;), but in Canada it seems there are only horny Men allowed to bring the Mail. (Oniki is Canadian,thats why there are french Words in OKW).

This is another problem with KW. For a while, Oniki was putting out build after build, fairly quickly it seems. She may not know when she added that!

I had CC Magic at one time... maybe 5 years. I can only guess that I had problems with it, and that's why I don't have it now.
