time ago used to work just fine, now i installed it again and nothing happen, the blush never appear , tried the test mode and only changes the expression, but no color, also changed the setting in nioverride.ini to 1 and  the overlays even to 9 and nothing, what im missing??? and how can i make it work?

Obviously it's localized as the mod is the same, did you try test mode? Make sure the exception MCM settings are correct so you don't exclude most of the game from getting blushes. But mostly try test mode on player.

tried the test mode, only the expression appear, also set the player blush as yes , so i suppose i shouldnt have exceptions there

If it doesn't work in test mode then there may be a conflict somewhere with overlays. Did you install the textures correctly? Do you have a bunch of mods that add overlays so there are no more slots for Blushes?

I would start a new game with just Blush and requirements active, if it works then you definitely have a conflict.

I'm getting a swirling blue aura around certain npc's while this mod is active. After doing some research it's tied to the magic absorb spell effect apparently this mod uses a cloak spell to track npc arousal and the magic absorb is absorbing it, creating the blue swirl effect. Is anyone able set it so that the cloak spell won't be absorbed? I'm not quite sure how it's done.

Weirdest thing. When consuming vanilla alcohol, my character won't blush despite the MCM option toggled ON. However, when toggled OFF and consuming alcohol from Beyond Skyrim: Bruma, she blushes a permanent pinkness that doesn't fade despite the intoxication & spell effect wearing off for the longest time. Anyone else?

EDIT: Happens to Dragonborn's flin and sujamma as well. I'll run some load order tweaking to test for incompatibilities and/or other oddities.
EDIT 2: Oddly enough when testing with a minimal (almost empty) modlist, it's vanilla drinks that work and Dragonborn's that don't. However, the permanence issue is still present.

Could some one give me a refresher please.  It's been a while since i had to fix this.

"BWA: Face slot allocation can be increased in nioverride.ini"

Is it the RaceMenu nioverride.ini?  And is it bEnableFaceOverlays=0 or bImmediateFace=0 or to increase to 1/2?

Hi,

it should be nioverride.ini in your .../RaceMenu/SKSE/Plugins folder.

I believe to increase the possible face slots you have to edit the following setting:

[Overlays/Face] ; "Face [Ovl#]" and "Face [SOvl#]"
; Determines how many face overlays there should be
iNumOverlays=3 ; Default[3]
iSpellOverlays=0 ; Default[0]

[Edit] I have ...FaceOverlays=0 set to 1 in my ini to activate BWA.

; Determines whether face overlays are enabled
; disabling this disables the hook
; Note: face overlays are known to crash when decapitated
bEnableFaceOverlays=1 ; Default[0]

It depends on whether you install by hand, use a POS like NMM or use MO to install your mods.  With MO, you find the Racemenu mod under wherever you installed MO, look in the SKSE then the Plugins folder and find the file. Otherwise with NMM and manual install just look for the SKSE folder under your DATA folder, you should be able to find the Plugins folder from there.

The swirl is caused by the NPC(s) having the Atronach perk. A number of mods can cause this effect to be constantly seen (not just Blush) and since there should only be very few custom followers with this perk (defensive casters basically) - it's easier to just get rid of this perk from the NPC as it takes only a couple of clicks (using TES5Edit).

A bit late, but I'm actually having the same problem right now. Did you manage to fix it?

If not then does anyone know how? Thanks in advance.

Turns out the face preset I was using had a face overlay not on the requirements. I went to the overlay section on racemenu, found it and set it to transparent.  Hopes this works for you.

Dude! Why didn't someone say this before.

Going to report a fairly minor issue with this mod; the racial overrides for elves (both in the "Blushes (NPC RACE)" menu and the "Exceptions" menu) appear to be entirely non-functional. It will only work off your settings in the "Blushes (NPC)" menu.

However, if you add the NPC's race via the "toggle NPC race" button in the Systems tab, it seems to work properly, for some reason. Obviously, this shouldn't be the case; we shouldn't have to re-add all the vanilla elf races via the mod just to get racial-specific blushes working again.

(I don't believe this is a problem only on my machine, but can someone else verify that this bug truly exists?)

Now, I don't want to sound like an entitled brat, but since you say you won't be playing Skyrim anyway, it might be time to release the source code. It honestly seems like an easy fix that we the community could do for you if we had access to the source files. (I literally think it was just written as "darkelf" in the source files rather than "dunmer," for example.) As it is now, this will probably never be fixed (are you even still active on this forum?).

Source files are in the mod already and you can hover your mouse over an Avatar to easily see the last visit time.

You sure? I just checked the folder and there's only .pex files.
