Thanks for quick response, I've taken those steps to no avail, I can confirm when starting a new game I can use my powers again. I'll keep testing.

I edited my ini in order to create the log folder but it didn't create the folder, I assume this is because there is no ctd? Sorry haven't done it before.

Logging doesn't need a crash. It is probably just a matter of finding the logs, editing the correct ini, or editing the ini correctly.

Okay, need some design help.
Where do succubi live in Skyrim?
 

In my reasoning they live close to humans and like cities where they have easy access to "food".

If they live in cities do they look like succubi? Or just regular humans?
Maybe if succubi live out in the open they show their true form?

 

How many succubi can share a territory?

 

Maybe "sane" humans stay away from them and they live in isolation?

What to do you think?

Have ideas for succubus dialog? (She has one at the moment)

 

Here is my non final succubus. I know it's not "Vivi awesome" but I think she's pretty  ^^
No ENBs or stuff either. Just vanilla Skyrim+SLDD.

It will be a pretty easy procedure of adding your own succubi to the game using the creation kit. Just give an actor a keyword and dump a script on her and she will be talking and being a succubus.

Posing as a Dibella priestess is what i would do as a Succubus in Skyrim if nothing else, easy access to food and all that. :P

 

You could have a couple of different types, Feral ones out in the wild that look like Succubus due to a lack of food. And others that look like your normal humans hiding in cities and settlements.

 

As for how many Succubi can share a territory, i like to think that the way Succubi work in general is that you have one Higher Succubus, with a small number of Lesser Succubi working for them. Probably ex-playthings that the Higher Succubus decided to keep around because she liked them.

Kinda like Vampires. Just a lot more naughty. :D

Really like the direction this mod is taking  :)

 

Lots of great ideas from Ruiko too.  IMHO though servants of Dibella or Mara wouldn't be that easily duped by Succubi trying to ply their trade in close proximity.  But after years of conflict maybe they could have reached an uneasy truce; perhaps in return for faithful spouses and generous lovers being off limits, the priestesses of Dibella and Mara allow Succubi to feed on selfish "takers" without starting a war over it.  This could explain why Succubi can be found anywhere, and there would be some good story ideas in it too - what if a Rogue Succubus breaks the rules by disguising herself as a faithful spouse's lover?  What if a Dibella acolyte convinces a selfish person to be generous, and the Succubi who desired the person's soul cries foul to the High Succubus (Mistress)?

  • Rumors tell about a very skilled prostitute living in an isolated wooden hut. If you find her you can pay her for a night, leaving you a little exhausted but very satisfied. However, depending on how much you bargain about the price she might decide to take everything, both all your gold and your life. Same if you decide to simply force yourself on her.
  • A few disguised as followers of Dibella are also an obvious choice.
  • Disguised as guests in isolated or rarely frequent inns, offering special services or visiting other guests' rooms at night. Maybe Four Shields Tavern, Nightgate Inn, and Old Hroldan Inn (dunno if I got the names right).

In general, succubi are disguised as mortals just like vampires to avoid be hunted down. Succubi are solitary creatures, but larger cities might harbor several succubi, but they do not work together.

Sadly I kind of had a few features planned to be fixed this weekend but the mod just kept growing and is now in a pretty unstable state where it's half way in between two updates so it cant be released until it's all done.

Well, you could always mix this up with http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/2182-sexlab-eager-npcs/. Like others said, throw a few succubi around, let things happen. I'd also think about throwing a few in various ruins, maybe via leveled lists so some of the bandits are succubi. Just take a bashed patch to make it all work.

Don't take this the wrong way.

I feel like I don't want to make a generic succubus enemy thing that wanders all over the lands and attack players to feed of their souls. I mean there is nothing wrong with that and there will probably be a few "generic" feral succubi wandering around outside cities.

 

With the AI and encounter I have built will handle it pretty well and try to seduce the player with obvious lies and things and then fight if she gets too angry and hungry.

 

But the same simple AI i have written can easily handle other scenarios with succubi so now that I have a bit more help we can make a few unique disguised succubi for each city with some dialog and slightly different behavior with some good and some evil succubi.

One senario I have thought of is having "good" "neutral" and "evil" succubi. Where good ones will feed from you but not harm you for any longer term. neutral ones don't really care if you die as long as they has fun. And evil ones extract every last drop of your essence to fuel their ever increasing powers. Even thought of having some succubi available for marriage and some that when defeated have a chance of obeying you as their master and becoming a follower. 

 

So I'm thinking, a few unique succubi in each city and feral ones randomly popping up.

It will take some time to get all the features working but as soon as it's stable and we have a small amount of succubi around I can release an in between version. And then expand on the mod with more npcs/creatures/quests and locations.

 

... In my dreams DD would be a whole world of succubi, creatures and quests.

I think you're actually thinking of the same thing I am, or at least in the same general direction. I wasn't really talking about having them wander all over the place. The bandit encounters, at least the way I understand them, are set to to happen in specific places, but the bandits spawn from lists. And then there's the other encounters like where the hired thugs show up to attack you. That's more or less what I was trying to suggest. But I won't be hurt if you don't use that. I mean, there's still going to be succubi in the game, and I like the idea of maybe being able to over power/marry/something some of them and turn them into followers/helpers.

It's for the feral ones that I was thinking could be a leveled list as a way to get them more easily into the game without having to go around editing a bunch of cells to actually place them.

I've tried Deadly Drain with new SexLab version 1.60 RC1, and found that the "ending orgasm effect" does not trigger the actual ending orgasm drain effect. (Confirmed that manual drain is working.)

Unfortunatly, I was epic failed to retrieve any log file or sorts. Is it possible to anyone can check that part out further?

It might be a good idea to separate this mod into two, one that adds the drain mechanic, and one that adds NPCs. Reasons are:

- some people might want to be their character to be the only succubus-like creature in existence

- adding unique NPCs and events and changing existing events or quests might cause incompatibilities with other mods; would suck not to be able to use this mod at all because the added NPCs cause problems

- it forces you to create an API so that the core mod and the NPC mod can communicate; that makes it easier for other modders to add NPCs with the Deadly Drain mechanic as well

- when you sleep outside a succubus might attack you in your sleep, similar to Dangerous Nights

- dunno if it's possible, but Hired Thug are replaced with succubi if the contractor is a mage

- members of the DremoraFaction and/or DaedraFaction and added to their leveled list

Yeah I agree, Except for the part about writing an API because it's pretty much how it works anyway ^^

Sadly that wont mean you can get any earlier update, mod is still too unstable to branch off.

I like the sleep Idea! Would be pretty fuckin sweet.
