The animations are whatever animations you have loaded into SexLab. This mod doesn't contain any animations on its own.

Okay, thanks for the information.

persinaly I do not care about the sex part of this mod I just love the biulding a small band of animal fallower part fun

and so I hade an idea that might work and be neet if  darkconsole is willing to try it ,,,,, (not this would be a sortof safe for work of safe for kids vertion) insted of the "maiting call" to invight to pack macke something like "call to the wilde" and to invite to pack one must feed the animle an apropreat food item ,, like for a wolf or wild cat feed it raw meet ,,, for a bare some type of beary like thing in skyrim ,,, for things like the wild atrinoks the proper salts and finaly for things like troles and other monsters well human flesh or hearts .......... tis is just an idea I thought would be neet for some one playing a dreuid like cericter and sorry for the bad spelling

Is untamed 2 dead

It's either dead or in serious hibernation. Which is a shame cause I loved this mod in LE and I still can't get it to work in SE for the life of me despite almost a year or two of trying. It fits too well with several shaman or huntress characters I had and not being able to use it in SE really annoys me.

For anyone who ported the mod in SE and got issue where the creature doesn't follow you, the alternative method I found is "Ordinator" mod. It has perk call "Speak With Animals" which allows you to tame any(?) creature (but only one, sadly for those who wants to build a pack).

If you already had an animal companion (via "Untamed" mod), you can then activate to tame it second time via "Ordinator" mod just to make it able to follow you.

So far I don't see it interferes anything to "Untamed" as it's just a simple follower function. You can also release it via a lesser power provided by "Ordinator" to be able to tame another one.

Just one annoying thing with "Ordinator" creature is that they teleports to you when getting a bit too far (even you tell it to wait via "Untamed") and you can do nothing about it (the MCM menu has a toggle, but no use). So I created a blank script which affects the teleport. I don't know if it also affects anything to the creature but I don't need it from "Ordinator", just the follow function is good to me.

The downside of this method is, of course, you have to download a mod which changes all of your skill mechanic, unless you already used it; and it affects only one creature. Hope it could help someone at least in my situation.

I'm on a new machine, with a fresh SkyrimSE install and I still miss this Mod. My conversions have been less than...stable.

That being said, I appreciate the original, thanks so much for creating it.

I'm trying to use the mating call on the wolves between Helgen and Riverwood, but nothing's happening. The shout seems to activate (I get a visual/sound effect) but they're still attacking.

There's quite a few bugs in this mod, but it seems to mostly work as intended.

The mating call seems to work the best if the animals are hit by it before attacking you. After they start attacking, the mating call doesn't always stop them.

Is there a way to make the Untamed shout ignore certain creatures, like your horse for example?

Probably your best way is to

+disable animations with said creatures (through other mcms like aroused creatures/creature framework?)
+ make sure post sex add to pack is checked..

the result is...

A horse might "hear" your shout, but  since animations are disabled for the horse, no animation plays.
since no animation plays, it isnt added to your pack?

when I converted it to SE the following doesn't work and it is spelled weirk in the wheel menu the other ones are normal but following command is spelled [following] when the others don't have these [ ] and work do those that have it working in SE have following spelled like that too and still work?(also I think some other commands are missing)

Yeah unfortunately converting this mod to SE as it is tends to have a 50/50 chance of either working perfectly or having the follow function completely broken. Which is a shame, I've tried many times to port this and had no luck.

I think it was mentioned a while back that something about papyrus for SE is different than LE and that's what causes the issue? Don't quote me on this though as I'm not entirely sure and my memory is hazy.

I have a very scuffed workaround for SE.

There's a mod on Nexus called Simply Tamed, which allows the player to tame a few wild animals using food. That's mostly what the current SE conversion is missing due to ActorUtil override differences, so I got the idea to modify that mod a bit in order to fit better with Untamed.

The original mod has follow/stay/flee/attack functions for tamed animals, up to 5, with the tame attempt itself being an RNG roll that forever locks the creature out from future taming on failure. All I did was bump the maximum follower count up from 5 to 50, and softened the failure RNG punishment - it sucks to not be able to tame your favorite pack creature ever again after failing one time. Now instead it just eats your food and ignores you for a minute or two, so you'll be able to try again after a little while.

You need to crouch and then press E on a creature to try to tame it. Just think of it like...yeah it fucked your brains out and decided to join your pack, but you still gotta tame it to make it actually obey you and follow your orders, lol. ?

I'm not happy with the visual integration (there's two separate UIs, which looks ugly as hell), but unfortunately I'm not a modder, just a total amateur who's barely ever touched a script before. So this is the best I've got, unless @darkconsole or some other experienced modder comes along to clean up this mess.

With this mod handling the follow/wait mechanics and Untamed SE doing everything else, it's playable albeit kind of ugly. So I guess if you're really horny for a huntress playthrough or something, there ya go.

PS: Added an Untamed SE conversion for the lazy scoundrels who can't be bothered to take the five minutes to run it through CAO themselves ?

I don't know if anyone here can help but I just recently downloaded this mod and can't, for the life of me, get the animations to work. When I try to "do it" with the wolves I've tamed, the character and the wolves just stand there and act like nothing happened. I tried to start have sex with them but nothing happens after I select the option so I'm not able to level them up. I don't know if I have everything I need to make the mod work since it just says "sexlab" as the requirement but I've tried everything I could think of to try and fix this problem and would really like some help if anyone could provide it.

For some reason the wolves wont follow me. I know the mod is old and I'm using SSE, but so far the mod works fine except the wolves don't follow and just wander around randomly. I tried resetting the mod settings but that didn't fix it either.

I would read through page 70 and 71 for more clarification but the TLDR is:

"since this mod is for LE, not SSE, there is no known 100% working port, and any ports are likely to have at least one unfixable bug- often with the "follow" aspect"

your only likely work around is to hunt for SE mods that allow you to make animals into followers somehow  and then..

use untamed for the "lolporn"
use ______ for the "animal follower part"

Any chance anyone is ever gonna take over version 2 ? or work on a similar project ?

According to what the author has said on their discord, a version of untamed for SE is in progress, but it seems like progress is slow since they're working on a bunch of other stuff too.

Rather strange issue I'm having, certain animals only seem to attack enemies in exteriors, and will only flee in interiors. My wolf and spriggan both fight in interiors, but my trolls and spider just flee during combat without defending themselves.

edi: most likely cause the trolls come from SL Pheromones and joined the pack, their AI must be set that way - other animals work fine

so back with a question, and kind of off topic but  taking a chance that my questions aren't original and those into untamed and similar mods - probably have come across some mods/ideas

a) any known addons that emit some sort of scream of pain or something when a pack member dies?

b)any addons that would at least simulate pack food needs ?  I'm trying to find a reason/ something to do if i hang around my den for days/ week at at time?  I know the idea of sending my pack out to hunt for food, while i tend to the newer members might be out of the question..  but if  a carcass magically showed up every few days at my den, that i had to cut up / feed to my pack.....?

I am working towards kind of a fun, but needs/ "kind of" hardcore game (requiem anyone?)..

untamed and wildling are probably center pieces of the list..

Has anyone encountered this scenario - and hopefully found a solution:

--> Standing in a group of three unfriendly wolves.
--> Activate mating call.
--> ***(careful wording here)****  three separate animation start playing at the same time.  NOT one 3 on 1 animation, but 3  - 1 on 1 animations
had 3 wolves doing anal investigation at the same time.. same animation, etc...

-- thats the only time it happens- after mating call..

ideas?

Another work around for the creatures not following you is if you use EFF then, depending on the creature(have only tried it with a couple), you use the EFF feature and "force recruit" them.  The follower wheel that pops up is blank but after you exit that you will have the standard Untamed dialogue choices.
