Ok i have 1 problem, everything works apart from initiation. Turned on debugger and it says there are no animations. Checked sexlab all animations are registered and working. (also tried a fresh game with the same resultts).

 

Aroused has nothing to do with "initiation" or animations.

 

What are you trying to do?

 

Suggest you first install Sexlab 1.59c and SexLab Matchmaker and make them work.  Dump all other sexlab based stuff or at least ignore it.

 

 

Make SexLab and Matchmaker work and all your problems should be solved if I understand you correctly.

 

Those 2 work correctly and the animations play but when i try to trigger animations with aroused it gives me the error message that there are no animations available(i can trigger them manually trough sexlab or matchmaker). Thx for your time and love that you picked this mod up.

I discovered this mod among others here which I quite like, I noticed that I'm suppose to get a desire spell and I have it checked that is suppose to give me the desire spell and I looked in my spells to see if I have the spell and there is no desire spell at all. I even tried the command to give me the desire spell but I get the fail to give (put name of character) the desire spell. My question is am I missing something on why I can't get the desire spell even though in the mcm I have it marked to give me the spell

What does the amulet of Mara do if you check it?

 

Is there a way to set some clothes to add to arousal but not to naked. So for example lets say fully clothed it adds 2 per cycle, naked adds 6, would it be possible to set some outfits to add 4 per cycle? I was thinking some outfits like serving wench for example and some custom clothes armor. I think it would be nice, it might be a lot of work though.

May want to check out Sexlab Interactive Arousal which does that with the Wench Outfit, Amulet of Mara, Amulet of Dibella, and a few other things.

Doesn't that one make them count the same as if your character is naked?

Don't take my word as law, but I don't think it does. May want to ask the mod creator. But upon putting one of those things listed on it increases your arousal and I believe makes it tick faster until you take it off.

Yes Deviously Cursed Loot. The new patch is out which fixes the problem, though I haven't had time to test it yet.

It is likely not directly this mod and a issue with one of the other mods i have.

Also new game fixes it but whatever causes the below problem can happen in any game.

I have an issue where (crap!, i forgot the exact name of the option) I believe it is time rate.

If in the Aroused MCM puppet master for either me or an NPC, the option above exhibitionist and gender preference (it can be changed from 0 to 100) is not changing when i set it.

Or rather it is not changing correctly. If i set it to 100 it sets it at 4. If i set it at any number under 100 it sets it to 2.

When i set it to 100 the mcm changes it but when I exit the MCM and enter it again the result is as stated above.

This is only happening when using Aroused's puppet master.

If the time rate (i believe it is) is changed by a mod event (or however its changed) that changes it as it should.

Now i know nothing of scripting and such so excuse me if this is not even remotely how things work, but it appears like something is getting in the way of the update when i exit the mcm.

1. the value of time rate at the time of the last orgasm

2. the amount of time that has passed since the last orgasm

 

Basically, at default settings the time rate will be halved in value for every 3.5 days since the last orgasm. So that means that if the time rate at last orgasm was 100, then after approximately 16 days it will have sunk down to 4.

 

When you use puppet master to change the time rate, you only change the value in the above point 1. So if the NPC hasn't had an orgasm in 16 days, and you set the time rate to 100 with puppet master, the actual time rate will still end up being only 4, and you cannot get it higher than that unless you also change the value in the above point 2 (which requires the NPC to get an orgasm).

 

That means that:

- If you want to increase the arousal of an NPC using the puppet master page, it's best to increase their exposure, as changing their timerate might not have enough of an effect.

- If you want to substantially increase an NPCs time rate, then first make them have an orgasm (which resets the value in above point 2 to the current time) and then change their time rate on the puppet master page.

I try to figure out how that check works.

Lets say i leave the time at 120 seconds. The first check comes. Then I go nude in front of an npc for, lets say 60 seconds. Then redress. So my "nacked time" will be between the check intervals. Does SLR register that I was naked and raise the NPCs Arousal?

No it doesn't. It will only raise exposure for the naked people the NPC sees when the scan runs.

Ok so the above did help, but there was an issue where time rate wasn't changing at all, however it must have been a script that did not unattach properly (very probable, my gave is heavily scripted). I ran my save through a cleaner and removed all scripts attached to no existent forms (or whatever that option is) and then i could change time rate again.

I got into a situation in which if I press the message button aimed at self, it tells me that " arousal level -2" (at player character). From the old mod's description I learnt that this -2 value means the actor is invalid/blocked. But if I check the MCM menu's player character arousal values they seems to be fine. Any suggestions?

Soo, when I want to get the update rate from the original Mod, I would need to set the time at something like 10sek. But I think that would create a bigger script-lag then the original Aroused?

 

 

I think in the original SLA it is checked every 20 seconds, however exposure is increased less on each check than in SLA Redux. So if you just reduce the scanner time to 20 seconds without changing anything else and then ran around naked, all arousals would go sky high in very little time. In original SLA it is +2 for seeing a naked person matching gender preference, +1 for seeing a naked person not matching gender preference, and +1 for being exhibitionist and being seen naked (each of these values multiplied by the actor's exposure rate). In SLA Redux the values are twice as high.

 

There are other differences. I think the original SLA only checks the PC and the last seen naked NPC for nakedness, whereas SLA Redux checks all actors within scanning range. So in the original SLA the maximum exposure can increase on each scan is 2*2*ExposureRate, but in SLA Redux there is no limit - if there are 5 naked actors in range and in sight, then the exposure increases by 5*4*ExposureRate on each scan.

 

So all in all, in the original SLA it may be easier to raise a specific NPCs arousal (by simply standing in front of them naked), but in Redux it may be easier to get everyone's arousal in a place to increase (by walking around with a couple of naked followers or getting some of the locals to undress).

 

As for performance, you'd have to test, I cannot really advice on that. My system seems to be capable of handling whatever papyrus load I throw at it without showing any signs of stress.

The issue is that after I install the mod each time all future saves don't load - endless loading screen. If I remove SLA afterwards, I can load the saves. So the issue could be with something SLA does on game load in it's scripts?

 

Pap log shows nothing about SOS or SLA when I have the endless loading screens. Is it possible that the script is getting stuck in a loop (due to an unusual value)? ... like I say, it happens only at game load - the mod works fine for 1 session each time. Then it's always broken when I load the save the next time I load skyrim. My best guess is that some loop that runs on startup is not exiting.

 

I am not sure, but I have a feeling that this issue may have started when the cloak effect was removed (maybe 6 months ago now?). Versions of the mod that I ran last year worked fine. I really would love to be able to use SLA again :)

Try loading a level 1 game and then load the save you really want.  It is a common problem that Skyrim crashes on large saves.

 

If that does not work, try loading the original SLA, then load the save.  Then, in a small cell, turn off cloaking, wait a minute, save and exit.  Then, reload Redux and try again.
