In my incredible intelligence, I forgot about the key drop options in the MCM entirely. My issue was that I thought DeC was equipping items that'd be natively unremovable with just the mod, but you are indeed correct.

I already wrote about my issue in the DD SE thread so I'm just going to copy my comment here in case the problem is from DEC (I doubt it) : Quote Hey there. The first one equipped my character with restrictive gloves and a collar, and the other one equipped a yoke, a noble dress, and a piercing. The issues are the following : - When trying to remove the gloves or the collar (from the first chest), the pop up message acts as if I'm trying to equip them, even though they're already equipped. Selecting either option (Carry on / Put in on) doesn't do anything - The yoke is invisible and my character is walking normally, as if no yoke was equipped at all (I already ran FNIS number of times) I had no trouble removing the piercing or the noble dress, so I have no idea why I shouldn't be able to remove the 2 other devices. As for the yoke, the pop up seems normal, I didn't unlock it yet to try to solve the problem first I have DD 5.0 for SE, DEC 3.10 for SE and I ran FNIS and Bodyslide already. edit: I'm not a 100% sure but after doing some research it appears the issue comes from Devious Device and not DEC, and I'm already getting help on the other thread so no need to answer me

pokefan22 Posted January 18, 2021 Posted January 18, 2021 I can't get the optional enchantments to be active. They remain grayed out in the MCM even with Estrus Chaurus + and Estrus For Skyrim.

One thing I wish it had that I really missed from DCL's traps is the option to configure chances based on arousal, such as have a minimum arousal that traps can occur at and make the likelihood of getting trapped higher as your arousal went up.

Generally this works great, but it seems like the mod doesn't really care about your gender, as it will apply some items that doesn't make sense (vaginal plugs) or items that can't be applied (hobble skirts, some straight jackets) which end up causing your torso/legs to not render as there are no male shaped meshes for those. Is there any way to specifically filter by applicable gender? Like if I ask a female follower to open a chest and a trap triggers, female appropriate gear will be equipped, but if I ask a male follower to open a chest, male appropriate gear will be applied? 1

Not sure what happened to that, If I get time to make the changes I want it will be come easier for people to customise which containers are trapped and add containers from other mods so that should help. 1

I should point out that what I'm planning is a simple MCM interface to allow this. You can already add additional container types to the mod by adding them to the "dt_additional" formlist in the containers.json file. If anyone wants to add the containers from Enderal (or any other content mod) to the list and post the updated json here I'll add it as an optional file to the downloads.

A good while back, I'd mentioned that I customized my copy with different drops rates, and you seemed interested in doing something like that. Configurable key drop chances would be ideal.

Yep, happy to take a look. Apologies - TBH I just forgot. Obviously there are a lot of different container types so I guess the question is how to balance interesting with workable - don't want to end up with a mass of mcm chances to configure. I think male corpse > Female and Strongbox > Chest > Others makes sense though. 1

Can you explain little bit how to use them correctly? For example I wold like to play Wyrmstooth with dtChests. I guess I sould write .esm name to "dt_additional" row and containers name to "dt_common" if such name isn't already included. What the number before .esm means ("1055893|Skyrim.esm")? Untill now I allways made custom patches, but it looks much convenient. ddLib.json looks like list of allowed items. I think I understand structure. If I would like to remove for instance Iron Belt I sould delete second item form Name, Colour and Material row. Am I right? Is posible to hide text in .json file insted of delete it? //, /*, <-- or somethink like that.

I hadn't planned it - but I guess it wouldn't be that hard to add, I guess the question is how and how much should arousal affect the chance....

Having it the same way as in DCL or Devious Mimic Clothes would work I think. Arousal is added to the chance with a 0.5 modifier by default (configurable). 1

Since no one else complains about this, I'm not sure if I misunderstood something. The first screen is my test settings. zlota Posted April 7, 2021 Posted April 7, 2021 Currently Devious Devices 5.1, but I have this issue at least since 2019 (DD4.2/DEC2.22). Until now it didn't bother me much but DD5.1 added/repaired many animation filters and it's more restrictive. I can't fight or have sex with 10 equiped items anymore. Also unlock timer even on easiest difficulty drives me mad. I'm seriously considering to remove DD altogether for next playthrough. 1
