fishburger67 Posted January 31, 2015 Author Posted January 31, 2015 I was just wondering if its possible to have an option to be treated as a male instead of a female if you are a female. i.e referred to as master, play male animations and have male dialogue options. I'm asking because I am playing as a Futa and I like to be referred to as male and use only male sexlab animations when initiating sex. A sex slave would definitely know that lol. It could be a dialogue option i.e player "refer to me as master/mistress". Slave "Yes master/mistress" or a mcm option. I'm not sure if that has been asked or suggested but would be a nice option. But either way I love this mod. It's awesome watching it grow Thank you for making such an awesome mod. I am using the vanilla GetIsSex == Male/Female to trigger which dialog option is chosen. It would be a big job changing that (a weeks work maybe). However. I have had other players ask for Sexlab male animations for female players, so if you will remind me after I get a release out, I'll add it as an option in the 4.1 release, but please remember to remind me because I do development on a different machine and sometimes forget things that I won't be doing myself.
shardoom Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Hey fishburger, I've been trying to keep track of this mod because I liked it quite a bit. Did I understand one of your posts correctly, you're removing alicia, does this means you're removing references to it from mia's lair, or you're just removing it from your personal load order?
fishburger67 Posted January 31, 2015 Author Posted January 31, 2015 Hey fishburger, I've been trying to keep track of this mod because I liked it quite a bit. Did I understand one of your posts correctly, you're removing alicia, does this means you're removing references to it from mia's lair, or you're just removing it from your personal load order? I am removing her from my personal load order because I have two companions I like better now, Jenny and Sasha. She remains in the game and I hope to use her for other stuff in the future. She is an interesting and unique NPC.
shardoom Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Oh well, hopefully skyrimll eventually fixes her then.
Abinath Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 kool kool. I'll remind you after version 4 is released Thank you and thanks for all your work on this awesome mod. It's really appreciated by myself and I'm sure others too
R4RED Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Actually, I do know something about Violens. Here is a quote from Sacremas: The Dance of Death - A Killmoves Mod; Outdated, and by now causing errors; switch to VioLens instead, works better and no errors, but turn off ranged killmoves entirely as they tend to foul up aimings often. He recommends it as a replacement for The Dance of Death. Here is the full text of his post with his recommendations: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/40181-sexlab-troubleshooting/?p=1065950 Glad to clarify. I've been suing Violens since it got released so that's good. Depending on playthroughs I either want to behead the enslaver out of role playing ecstasy.
RebelInfernal Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Is it safe to simply uninstall OBIS and Dance of Death? I looked in the DoD file tree and it just has an esp, no actual script file. I haven't checked OBIS but it adds new NPCs, so I would assume it's not safe to just remove?
Guest Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Is it safe to simply uninstall OBIS and Dance of Death? I looked in the DoD file tree and it just has an esp, no actual script file. I haven't checked OBIS but it adds new NPCs, so I would assume it's not safe to just remove? no its not save. i did it anyway same time with defeat and a couple more. go get the savecleaner tool it removed on my game 800 unused scripts and about 350 fragments, everything is running fine untile now. but its not save...^^ @fishburger You haven't even heard 1/10 of it yet. They both have nearly 400 lines of dialog. Some sexy, some funny, some soft, some interesting. My favorite that you probably haven't heard yet from Sasha is: Master, my feet hurt, will you carry me? Jenny has some of the most sensuous lines. Master, they have a beautiful in here, lets go and make love (Giggle) I just love love love Jennies giggles. Most of the stuff I do building a mod is tedious. Importing and listening to this voice work of theirs was a pure pleasure. ever played bad wolf and dragon break? there are two followers that banter with each other. defenitly very well made and worth a look into even if its just to get some inspiration.
BeamerMiasma Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Thank you for your advice. But I wish to solve it through my normal game play. But it was hard to beat them even on level 21 assassin type character (stealth, archery, light armor, 1 handed based). I had only 1 follower, Alicia, who was very weak because I was a bad master and didn't beat her often enough (too much travelling without beating her). As she is my favorite follower, I try to choose mods to fit her, and she messes up multi-follower mods (UFO's follower list was full of Alicia, Ali). Therefore, I can't take more follower there. I was almost 1 hitted (200+ hp), by a minor kidnapper, and she was 1 hitted by the leader (as my flame atronach). The 3rd was taken down from stealth by crossbow. Then long running comes with manaregen waiting and healing and cqc by trying to dodge every hit while scratching their armors by nordic swords from Solstheim... I know that it is hard to design enemies which are challenge for 5 follower users and not hard for 1 follower users, but these 3 are beating the **** out of me even if I can handle 3 Demonica NPCs (bandit thug) in other cases (they are well equipped and seems to not leveling, they are 1 hitting me but they die much faster)... Hm, maybe I'm considering those commands next time ... I could 2-shot Mia on my stealth/archery character before level 20 in Expert difficulty. Use sneaking/invisibility potions (even though you are force greeted, if you go in sneaking you should be hidden again after the greet since you are not in line of sight). Bringing one or 2 extra followers to keep the henchmen busy can be useful, but it's not strictly necessary to win the fight, just make sure your sneak is high enough for them not to see you. Use muffle, sneak potions, invisibility potions, true shot potion, etc, whatever you can to increase your stealth and archery damage. Then, ignore everything except Mia, she is your target, and as soon as she goes to bleedout the fight is over and you have won. I could easily sneak up the stairs and 2-shot Mia before she had the chance to fully stand up from her throne, and before being detected by anyone. Don't wait for everyone to run down, just sneak up the stairs as soon as the initial dialogue ends. It's not an easy fight, but of course considering the rewards, it shouldn't be. It certainly is possible though, and I would say a stealth/archery character is the easiest way to do it at lower levels.
pinky6225 Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 ok just to let you know what iam up to.... papyrus errors? how cares. my savegame is about 100 houres + i have instaltt and uninstalt hunderts of mods and iam still stable, didnt had a crash in the last 5 houres... Well, I play and NEVER have a crash because I check my papyrus log frequently. Still, if it works for you, that's all good. I am trying to help those who are experiencing problems with this or other mods. The advise I provided is good. Most of these mods provide very limited increased functionality so why fool with them? On the other hand, if you love them and can't live without them, that's all good too. Do you not have the performance hit from having logging enabled all the time since by default its turned off so when i've played with it both on and off i can notice a difference in the time it takes to load a scripted event. So without wishing to take away anything from the dude that spent time trying to get a clean papyrus log i'd wonder whether its even possible to have a clean log for something that by default shouldn't be turned on and creating a log. I'd also be interested in the PC being used since i have a pretty good PC (i7, 4 gig GPU, 16 GB RAM, 512GB SSD) and i can still see a difference between logging enabled and disabled in how long it takes sexlab to start sex for example
xesfer Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Okay, I have to say I absolutely adore this mod, especially the female PC slave training. The voices are fantastic, as well. I'd personally love to see the female slave PC at some point finish her training and become a full sex-slave herself. Volkar could then, perhaps, sell and bond you to a male follower, who would then be your master, and you'd act just like a sex slave follower - periodically demanding sex from him and experiencing ecstacy, and being occasionally forced to submit to his whims... Hopefully, Darkminxi will spot this and figure out something really cool to implement it. I'd like this ending very much too. But If I were Volkar I'd never sell my dragonslut slave to anybody. Instead I'd take her with me along my undercover journeys to spread Lord Sanguine's glory all around Skyrim and train her to be a perfect sexslave in the meanwhile (and since a trained sexslave is not in need of any outfit anymore I'd ask her to return my armor back...) What I mean is: what about a Master Volkar follower? He could disguise himself as a normal man, returning a Dremora when it's necessary. At plot level a fun irony would be having Lord Sanguine order Volkar to follow his best pet-friend (the female Dovahkiin) to reward her for a mission that made him particularly happy or amused him (maybe Tabitha might be involved with this...). I know, I know it's a cheap shot to Volkar compelling him to roam all around Skyrim but well if It comes from Sanguine... Sorry if I went too far. The plot is up to you. Thanks again for your work.

When I saw that 'badly behaving mods' list, I wondered just how some of them could be incompatible with Sex Slaves. It's good to know that that list is not an 'incompatible' list, but rather a summary of mods that someone's had general issues with, or was offended by it's papyrus spam

I usually have it off, but whenever I try out a scripted mod I turn it back on during testing and make sure I'm getting no stack dumps and only a few warning papyrus entries, or only entries that have been explicitly mentioned by the mod author as harmless. Dual Sheath Redux is a good example of a mod that spams many, many harmless nones. Regarding Sacremas' list of badly behaving mods, I haven't had the same problems as he listed, although I do agree with his commentary about Perkus and Apollowdown's Gameplay Overhaul being in need of some error checking. I dropped them because of that (Perkus, very very reluctantly). I do have a good game machine - unlocked, lightly overclocked i5 (4.1ghz), 970gtx, 16gb ram, along with a dedicated ModOrganizer/Skyrim SSD. His listing of mods that add NPCs (OBIS, Immersive Patrols) leads me to think that his advice is based on a home or mid-level gaming machine. Since the majority of people who play Skyrim use that type of computer, his advice is worth heeding for a lot of people.

His listing of mods that add NPCs (OBIS, Immersive Patrols) leads me to think that his advice is based on a home or mid-level gaming machine. Since the majority of people who play Skyrim use that type of computer, his advice is worth heeding for a lot of people. My computer is three years old, it's a watercooled i5-2500k 3.3ghz with 8 gig ram on an SSD HD (too small for me to put my modded skyrim and my operating system on both, so I run my Mod Organizer and Mods folder on my D drive; really should have spent more on that) and a Asus 8 gig 2-fan card running a GTX 580 card, the best single-core GPU on the marked when I bought the computer. At this point it's mid level gaming, but it's mid level gaming that with the stuff I listed can still run a Skyrim modded to photorealistic proportions and all the other things at once, I have over 400 active mods and 255 ESP/Ms; all of my advice was written from the viewpoint of a completely outmodded Skyrim, not a light load order with just Sexlab mods, if you're runnig 50 mods only you can probably even add Nature of the Beast and Dragon Combat Overhaul and have it run fine. All of the mods I listed with the exception of Immersive Patrols throws up frequent papyrus messages, this is important because while the Papyrus doesn't need to be entirely clean (mine's over half a megabyte even with these mods taken out.... but with them 5 minutes of play was 13 megabytes, this is not good and in Sexslaves in particular as well as scripted scenes in general this will cause your game to fail and scenes to not play) it's indicative of things that will cause problems for you later on. Example; Everyone knows and loves Gopher, and his Immersive Hud is one of the most famous mods there is, and IMHO a must-have. However the latest version of the mod has a function that calls other mods with widgets and checks if it can manage them (examples Loot and Degredation, iNeed, Frostfall, A Matter of Time), but it does this too often; it should do it when you load a game only to see if you've installed new mods, it does it maybe once every 5 minutes, as if you could possibly add mods it needs to check for while playing. I do not know if these are dangerous because I've posted repeatedly on his thread as have others about this, as far as I know (stopped checking) there's been no response except for die hard gopher fans trolling the posters and the mod has not been updated, in this case my gut feeling is revert to a version of the mod that doesn't do this, which is the previous 2.4 version, that has no problems at all and is highly recommended to everyone. Dance of Death is abandoned, its author tells people on his page to upgrade to VioLens, which contains all of it's killmoves and more. I have not had a single issue with VioLens, I love the mod. I have not tried Heartbreaker simply because of how little it adds, but it's by the VioLens author so should work fine. Duel - Combat Realism I got into contact with the author about the papyrus spam, they are on-hit dualplayerproc scripts that fire like crazy whenever you're in combat, run for a few hours and you'll see page after page with it. They are backwards compatibility leftovers to allow users of old versions to upgrade more easily, it checks if you have logging enabled, then for the onspell condition that the mod doesnt' even use any more (it now uses Skyrim's Morality system) and if it doesn't find it it throws up a papyrus message, according to Duel's author this can lead to crashes, but if you disable Papyrus logging then in theory they should stop firing entirely as it first checks for if that's even enabled. However I fixed a stack dump problem with Frostfall once, with Duel removed Frostfall ran fine with no stack dumps. However I've used Duel for years now without significant issues until now, so this may simply be a case of cup runneth over on script mods, and removing any of them could have cured Frostfall. I now use instead Ultimate Combat which includes locational damage, stagger alterations, and an option to make sneaking harder (basically Perkus hard, without Perkus's problems), and combine that with a general AI mod like ERSO's Better Enemy AI or Combat Evolved for a much better result that runs better, Combat Evolved is completely script free so you can uninstall it anytime except while actually mid-combat and not see a single issue, so try it out. Don't combine multiple AI mods however, they all do the same and they don't like to work together. OBIS is a cool mod, but it throws up tons of Papyrus messages, I don't know if these are dangerous because no one replied on it, but simple truth was it also added a lot of things that I didn't like, and ERSO adds more to bandits anyway with a guaranteed clean mod. What the hell do you care about bandit clans when there's no actual clan strongholds or clan tactics or anything, just a randomized mishmash of new bandits supposedly belonging to clans that you're going to outlevel and murder just as fast as the normal ones? And meanwhile there's a good chance it's going to cause mods you actually care about to fail. Immersive Patrols throws up a couple of messages, it's seemingly harmless even though it kills your game going out, but fact is my game is running a lot better without it. Plus like I said it's anything but immersive IMO, I don't know how many times I've gone "WTF you guys again?" on the named NPCs. Ultimate Deadly Encounters - Sands of Time is also like this, it's a cool mod but it just inserts too many things into the game I don't like, it breaks immersion, and it stresses your system. Run any of Duel, OBIS or IP if you wish and have a medium load order, but I'm telling you the game will run better without them. As for the Papyrus log, yeah I do as you say, I keep it active when I make a character and for the first few saves, then I go in and disable it. If scenes start not working later on I enable Papyrus and check out the log and also open the save in Savegame Cleaner to see how many scripts are active in the mod, if it's over 10.000 or so then odds are good the save has an expiration date. Disable it 2 saves after you've made your character, enable it if you start crashing more than every third hour or so (which is just form your ram running out and dumping usually and avoidable with a lot of texture mods, revert to your previous save and keep playing) or if sex scenes or vanilla scripted scenes start to fail, like if you get a huge delay between asking for sex and sex starting, or sex ending and you getting back controls and redressing.
D_ManXX2 Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 It's funny i actually only use immersive patrols for sexlab defeat. watching imperials and storm-cloaks going on in a massive battle is pretty funny to watch.
fishburger67 Posted January 31, 2015 Author Posted January 31, 2015 Is it safe to simply uninstall OBIS and Dance of Death? I looked in the DoD file tree and it just has an esp, no actual script file. I haven't checked OBIS but it adds new NPCs, so I would assume it's not safe to just remove? NO!!! It is never save to just uninstall a scripted mod. They leave scripts running in you save and are most probably the biggest cause is issues. If you uninstall a mod, reload a save prior to it's original installation. If that is not possible (happened to me lots), try saveltool. It is quick and easy but sometimes does not do a great job. Then load the cleaned save, and then exit and look at uour papyrus log. If it still has lots of crap in it, you are going to have to lean to use Script Scalpel (PNB), but you must get the save cleaned. Sometimes it is not possible and you are forced to start a new game. The best advise is to make a save BEFORE you load any mod that makes heavy use of scripts, particularly those that run on a timer. Armor mods and skin and body mods and the like that just use meshes are save to unload and discard. Then, test the mod and see if you want to keep it forever. If so, continue on with your game. Otherwise, dump the mod and go back to your save.

If I am playing normally, I turn off logging and then turn it on maybe once a week to check and especially after I load a new mod. It is not only possible, but should be a goal. Any mod that causes papyrus errors should be rooted out and dumped. On the other hand, you should not have papyrus logging turned on all the time. It is just a tool to get your game running the best it can be.

fishburger67 Posted January 31, 2015 Author Posted January 31, 2015 This quote comes from Angelus388 Thanks so much for the feedback. Sorry, the papyrus files I uploaded actually came from a "clean" save from nexus that I used to test the mod. But after many many attempts I foolishly decided to remove some mods directly from the save because I was tired to restar all over again. I'll be more careful from now on. But nevermind, I followed your advice and did a new clean start with a new character. And I removed a wholde bunch of mods. It works pretty well now. Unfortunatelly I don't know which mod could have been the culprit, so I can't help people having similar issues. Thank your for your help. Thank you Angelus

Sacremas Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Just did a 5 minute playtest on two profiles, both of these are from 5 minutes of play, big one's using Perkus Maximus and several other heavy mods like Frostfall, Hunterborn, iNeed and several of the mods I suggested not to use (it's a level 30 character that I like and I'm trying to keep her) and casued a sex scene to fail, second one is using SPERG and I actually loaded that save with four mods including a script mod missing. Just observe the difference alone in just the size of the logs when they're both the same size. Better yet, the SPERG one is on an exterior area with all of Whiterun wandering around, the Perkus one is inside Dragonreach with maybe 10-15 NPCs present in a small worldspace. You can see from the SPERG one that Sellcrafting is throwing up some errors, but I'm choosing to keep it for now because it intergrates so well with other mods I have, and really considering how small the log is I'm pretty sure I can let that just keep on going in the background while Archerone spanks me with no problems. Papyrus.2.log Papyrus.0.log

LOL at all those .xmasharedscripts.updateItemWeight errors from Perkus, something like 75-85% of papyrus.2.log! They're probably benign, but something that pops an error that often that hasn't been trapped worries me about other, possibly more dangerous coding problems that I can't see. Those did influence my decision to drop Perkus for now, but the main reason was I got tired of running Patchus every time I updated mods. Regarding the rest of that log, it looks pretty normal to me - I recognize nearly all of the 'errors' as various mods I've used looking for other, compatible mods during startup. I've been told by 'competent authorities' that that type of error can be safely ignored. Indeed, some of them are even called out in the log by the mod author as something to be ignored. The only one that stands out to me is tck_SpellCraftingUtilityQuest, with the array out of bounds errors. I've never used it, but based on it's location in the log file I'd bet it's also startup checking, and probably benign. Not something I'd immediately drop that spell crafting mod for.
