When someone has the time, please help me understand how to install the MiasLairExtras with MO.   I am just learning to use it, and it doesn't recognize where to put the .nif files I guess.

Well, based on what I've read on the OP about them, this should work: MiasLairExtras.rar

 

Path leads to the FaceGeom\MiasLair.ESP folder. If that's not right (seems right) I'll repack. No idea what the Working folder is though. If you want what I did explained, I'll tell ya.

 

 

You don't really want to use those nifs to replace what is there.  What you want to do is use those nifs and then nifmerge to a new nif file and then copy that new nif into ...SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\meshes\actors\character\FaceGenData\FaceGeom\MiasLair.esp\

 

Running v5.2 on a new play through.

Everything is working fine, I've taken Vess down for training. Niri won't talk to me, saying "don't you have people to save, and don't ask I'm not going anywhere with you". Could it be that she suspects something? I think I should be able to offer to give her a reward and let her go or take her down for training at this point.

AHA! My journal has the On The Trail.. quest still active, with the objective "take Vess to Volkar for training". I've just completed her training, but it never cleared. Could that be it?

 

EDIT : That seems to have been it. That quest was stuck on stage 342, I advanced it to 350 and Niri would talk to me. She is now hanging in the dungeon until I have time for her.

 

In case you are interested, the order I did things was:

- recruit Jenny

- defeat Mia, chose to enslave her

- recruit Sasha

- take Mia to the dungeon

- get the key from Vernor

- sleep

- recruit Linda

- get Idgrod (is that her name?)

- return to the Jarl, 4 naked girls in tow, take the reward

- return to talk to Vess, tell her the good news

- take Vess to the dungeon and train her

 

EDIT : the On The Trail... quest is still open. It now has two incomplete objectives - take Vess to Volkar for training, take Niri to Volkar for training. Apparently, talking to Volkar about them does not clear their objective. I also noticed that Volkar has a duplicated dialog line - two copies of "I want to train a companion". I picked the first one both times. Maybe that's the problem?

 

EDIT : quest now stuck at stage 352. Looks like to make it finish and get it out of my journal and finally drop Ravencrone's note I need to set it to 400 or 500 or 600, but I don't know which. Little help?

if you got their training started you can safely advance stage to 400 - which would complete the quest.

 

I'll have to make some changes there but likely i wont be able to do that before the next update.

I have used your mod many times with male and female pc and it is such a good time whatever path you choose. I have not had many issues through all the versions either. I have to say my favorite is playing female, going through the training to learn about training. Awesome and I hope that aspect will eventually be expanded, I was sad it ended...anyway, great job and thanks.

Our next release will have a Dominate male companion enhancement to the existing Andrew.  If you like that sort of stuff, you will want to do that again.

By the way, I have installed the requested hairpacks in the DL page of this mod, all the girls are fine with very beautiful hair. Andrew has pink hair that seems a lego hair... i don't know how to explain. it seems a different pink than the usual purple skyrim uses when there is a missing texture. maybe it is intended like this.

Nope.. hes supposed to be blonde   

its the same hair color than Barby or Martha Battle-Born - so you can check if those are pink as well.

Hard to say - resources in use there are very much vanilla.

Personally got pretty much the same problem with NPC of Dibella mod (purple hairs even if those should be vanilla colors) and i never been able to figure it out.

There dozens of CBBE body types starting from quite skinny ending with chubby. And there is bodyslide which allows you to create any kind of CBBE body that you like.

I would recommend to use bodyslide to create a version of this item that would fit the body that you are using.

i use HDT Piercingsets 2.6 for Bodyslide

Thank you so much for the speedy and helpful assistance. That got me back on track I think! As you mentioned you would be looking at this issue in the future, heres what happened in the hope that it helps with your diagnostics.

 

Setstage 350 - enabled me to talk to Niri and decide her fate.

 

Setstage 400 - Vess returned to the palace as I had previously instructed and the quest "On The Trail" came up as complete.

 

The ingame quest log now shows "on the trail" as complete and it is relegated to the completed quests section.

 

The "Take Niri to Volkar and begin her training" entry for Niri shows as complete.

 

The "Take Vess to Volkar and begin her training" entry for Vess does not show as complete (still a hollow diamond)

(I would have expected to see Vess complete and the Niri item open?)

 

Vess has returned to the palace but still wears restraints. She has all the new dialog options I expected but there is no option to remove the restraints that I can find. (the options to tease her about the gag are still present...."mmmf!" being the reply....

 

No new quest has appeared in my quest log but I expect I have not found the trigger yet and have tried to avoid reading too far forward in the plot. (don't want to spoil the fun if I can help it!)

Quest to "talk to Vernor" should start if you got "enable submissive..." selected in MCM

other than that you can recruit jenny / Sasha and take them for w walk 

or Andrew - but i would recommend to wait with that one till next update.

As far as he avoids chastity bras, that sounds ok for me

I am not really a big fan of DD, I prefer Zaz stuff becouse I find it more lore-friendly. I can play a mod with DD collars, harnesses and cuffs, becouse they´re really well done, I love leather stuff , but I can´t stand with bras, ponyboots, etc...

 

But is just my taste, and you are making that part of the mod, so...I will use ponyboots and bras if necessary to play it

 

I could play a ponygirl quest tho. Could be fun to see the Dragonborn tied to a cart and in pony stuff...

Yes, Aqqh is exactly right.  This is a completely redone Andrew.  If you are playing him now, you will get reset to level 2, and it will take you a month of play time to get through all the stuff we are adding.

Andrew will be less bland.   brvtality has done something like 500 lines of dialog for him and bland is not an adjective I would use to describe it.  He is a great voice actor and I think you guys will really like it

Minor tweaks.

As for that new character it wont be necessary to start a new game. i would introduce him somehow if you wont.

I can co it as with Vess and Niri - play starting quest on one new character and then you can just start pretending that all your other characters have played this new version as well.
