Playing with NPC's, you can just delete them, they're just for practice. I've been trying to get a Bard working, practice for my own quest mod... Deleted big room, deleted big corridor. Added stuff that you asked me to add, such as Bosses room, bigger bar, bigger foyer for the bouncers. Been tweaking light, adding junk, started nav mesh, should take about a week to finish dungeon, soo much junk to add to flesh out the place... Lighting is tough, construction kit is a lot darker than my modded game. I don't know which to believe, as the lights are handled by mods. Everyone has different set-ups for lighting on their game, my game is light, some mods make the game pitch black. The dungeons lighting should cater for darker and lighter mods, I have used a lighting mod in the past, that was soo dark that it forced me to carry a torch around in the bars, they were just far too dark. Great in dungeons, poor experience outside of dungeons. The bosses room is lockable, I got one of my Skooma Whore test NPC's to sandbox and use the bed when she was tired. She woke up when I entered the room, and tried to kill me... Its funny to walk into a room to find your NPC's slacking off, sitting down in the bar, or wherever there are seats. In my mod, they used to walk a considerable distance to go to one of the bars in Whiterun, bypassing the closer bar.. Finally I can answer you; thanks again for your effort, I´m happy with the look of it. To make the npc behave it not a real problem. I´m looking forward to see it once it´s finished. But you don´t need to hurry, I don´t need the cell soon, cause there´ll be aother update before i want to implement the skooma den.
namor360 Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Played around with the mod, it's quite fun and has an interesting synergy with the latest version of SD+, as while enslaved under SD+ if you beg for water you are sometimes forcefed skooma. My request for the mod would be a way to disable in MCM the alchemy perk prerequisite to cook skooma, to allow support for any perk overhaul mods that replace vanilla perks.

Maybe you even need a minimum addiction level before you can buy it? It's also possible to make the perk dependent on carrying the book, not just having read it like a skill book. Or perhaps... is it possible to add a % chance failure rate? I mean, the higher your addiction level, the more difficult it is to cook Skooma... sort of like a strung-out junkie having difficulty with intricate tasks. Or maybe varying qualities of skooma... the higher your addiction, the more impurities you accidentally introduce into the mix while cooking, something like that? Or standard cooking pots just don't have the capability, you need to go to a special skooma cooking pot for it (like at Cragslane Cavern or maybe the Khajiit caravan cooking pots)? Or maybe just add in another ingredient into the requirements, something very rare, like Salmon Roe or something like that...?

Idea... How about Skooma +, can't buy it. You have to make it, with those ingredients. Good for mages, +50% magic recharge rate, +50% magic bar size for 30 minutes game time... Good for dragon fights... Keeps your Skooma withdrawals at bay for a lot longer... Need a recipe book to be able to unlock making it, in a cooking pot... It would be a nice potion to try and make, keep you hunting for ingredients... Ingredient has to be not easy to buy off shopkeepers, ridiculously expensive to buy 500 gold, with a selling value of virtually nothing 3 gold... Shopkeepers don't want to buy the item, as they are too hard to sell. Hence the high buying cost and low selling value...

I made a mock-up for a possible widget, I know you've got your hands full at the minute with the mod. But the 4 status's could be tied into an onscreen widget, I don't know how difficult it is, or whether you are interested in widgets. But here's a mock-up anyway, Green writing is good status's, Red writing is bad status ailments...

But it would work like this. 1) Have all the drugs last a lot longer, like say 5 skyrim hours. 2) Each addiction level cuts how long the drug lasts. Make it gradual though. Something like. Addiction level 0 - 5 hours Addiction level 1 - 4.5 hours. Addiction level 2 - 4 hours Addiction level 3 - 3 hours Addiction level 4 - 2 hour Addiction level 5 - 1 hour This would mean the more addicted you get the more often you need to take it. Anyways just a idea.

Anyways just a idea. I put over 5 hours in making the drugs today, this comes a bit late^^ Everthing is set up and done, I'm not making any changed at this point. But roughly the durs work as you suggested. The duration varies between 5 and 10 minutes. Afterwards come a Suppression effect for some hours (24 - 15 real minutes) which gets shorter the higher the addiction. As long as this effect is active there are no withdrawals. This makes three phases: The positive effect of the drug - the phase without withdrawals - the withdrawals. The later withdrawals are really crippling and this makes it possible to keep even a highly addicted character playable if he takes a dose every few hours to suppress the withdrawals.

For now the player will stay at he same spot. But when there is an abduction feature he won't, obviously. The current solution is just a placeholder, 'cause I had to write the function to integrate it with all the drugs as they were created.

IDEA for blackout abduction quest... DUMPED... You wake up naked and without any gear, in the middle of a dungeon, or out in the middle of nowhere. Your gear being put in a chest near a dungeon entrance, that you'd have to make your way to. Or ROBBED... Your gear is put in a new keep chest, in Riften at the thieves guild, and you'd have to pay a recovery fee of 500 gold... The guild having recovered all your stolen gear for the modest fee... Devious Device gear would have to be kept on, as it could effect quests, along with quest items... ROUGH TRIP... You'd have to make your way naked and without weapons to Riften, scrounging some weapons and armour, along with anything else you can get your hands on. Without money, you'd have to make enough to get your gear back. So prepare to work for some gold, buying and selling, or a bit of overtime at the Skooma Brothel... or WHORED OUT... You wake up in the Skooma Brothel, naked and without weapons or any gear at all or money. They force you to work to get your gear back, forcing you to drink a Skooma each day you are there... 'You can leave anytime you want, bitch... There's the door...' She smiles at you. 'But say goodbye to all your gear on the way out, whore...' 'Drink this down whore, or I may just forget to pay you...' She hands you a Skooma and smiles as you gulp it down... 'When can I get my gear back...' you plead... 'You'll get your gear when I say you'll get your gear, and no sooner...' She smiles at you, handing you another Skooma. 'No more... please...' you beg her... 'Drink it down, bitch...' She snarls. You obediently take the Skooma and gulp it down, tears forming in your eyes... You can feel your addiction building, but feel powerless to stop... DEBT...
