BruceWayne Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 I'm pretty much set up, but I'm still struggling a bit with GECK + Win10 problems, which make working on dialog incredibly cumbersome. Once I have a workable solution for that, I will look at all dialog topics and fix and/or expand where necessary. If anyone knows of some bugs or problems regarding SOIR off-hand that need more or less immediate attention, you can either send me a PM or use the existing PM conversation from before (for those that have already been testing since way back) P.S. T, I don't know how feasible it is, but if you by any chance have a change log that doesn't just include the latest change, I'd be incredibly happy. Just if you have one, if not, I will make to have due. Though, it would be nice, if the change log would reflect all the changes and not just the latest one.
MRM18870 Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 I made a new run, something has changed, but still - it works 3 times and then not anymore. However this time there was no infinite loop. And I don't think that I started one dance animation too early. ( but I am not 100 % sure ) However, it happend in my games always even without the testfile Found the problem causing the radio to stop working after 3 songs. New one up should fix it. Work fine now ( at least much more then 3 times ) thanks

No but I will start including a more detailed one in the download. The party action was changed into Booze and Chems, but not much else when it comes to the API (nothing I can remember, that is). I added most of the actions to the second post. I'll try adding more soon. There's still a lot of half broken stuff I need to go through before I start adding more features to it, so there's plenty of time. Hit me up if you need me. @MRM18870: Now that dance works with the default engine, you should try Josie again and see what happens.

I test more tomorrow That's a bug in the test file. Normally on hotkey, NPCs get held in place. Because the testfile launches through regular dialog that part is missing. So if you dialog them when they're walking and launch dance through regular dialog they move around. I'm probably going to get rid of the testfile and just include it in the shift+hotkey somewhere. That way this doesn't happen. The solution is to only launch dance on them when they are standing still.

You'll definitely need to re-enable (disable/enable both exterior and interior) player home landmarks. Meet At My Place should then work, as well as Meet At Motel (if you have the Novac Room key). Likewise with home/motel invites. EDIT: Another one up. Found and fixed a few bugs. The Solo choices from the solo popup weren't registering for female ActorAs. Also female ActorA wasn't equipping strapon props. Should be fixed now. Edited January 16, 2016 by t3589
MRM18870 Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 I found a small bug. When you want to start a strip performance at the wrangler the music don't play -> no animation. Dance performance however works.
Sagebrush61 Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 I just did strips in the Wrangler and the Tops. Worked perfectly with the latest version of Intimacy, music animation and ending. Even had admirers throw coin at me. Also had Caleb ask me to dance and that worked too. So the problem is not universal. Might be due to an empty music file?

None of the files in the music pack are blank. Custom Music: - Unpack SOI-MusicV1 to a temporary location. - Overwrite mp3 files with custom music. - Repack and install with FOMM.
MRM18870 Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 It works with the new music files. Indeed some of the files I had before had only 1 second length. But I found a new minor isssue. I had it in one case in the Tops that a strip animation runs endless and without music. After reading the logs I had the idea that this error occures when a NPC walks towards the PC and you start stripping before he could talk to you. At least I had this error always from a specific save game when I did not talk to Billy Knight before striping, and it did work as intended if I talk to him before.
t3589 Posted January 18, 2016 Author Posted January 18, 2016 (edited) New one up. Some experimental features have been added. NPCs should now abort approaches if the PC is performing. Also added a pause to the scanner so you don't get 'decency' when giving birth (if you use SOPregnancy). You can now meet for dates indoors. If you make a date with an NPC, and tell them to meet at home/motel, you can now wait for them inside your home/motel. Outside works as usual. It still needs some rounding out, so ignore the fadetoblacks ftm. I'll make it prettier eventually. EDIT: Critical Bug Fix up. Recommend starting the mod fresh, sorry. The action profiles were incorrectly being cleared rendering much of the evaluations broken this whole time. You can get around it by setting nx_setevfl "SOIntimacy:GenderPriority" in the console. set to 1 for female, 2 for male, 3 for creature. This setting should never be zero. You can tell if the NPC is affected by debug. If debug says ActionProfile is zero, the NPC needs this set. @jamesouch: Pregnancy should be fine. No idea about Breeder. I was passing near Novac and saw that my Party Friend Lt. Haggerty was drinking some Drink:Moonshine and when I went over to chat her eyes were closed. Tried to activate with hotkey and then through regular dialogue and it said she was unconscious. So I went to Motel in Novac for the night, when I woke up she was standing in motel room, eyes still closed, still unconscious. Went out to do some shopping and when I got back she was lying on the floor. Still alive - her fingers are moving but she's totally wasted. I wandered around for a few days and came back and she was still unconscious. Being a concerned friend, I looked in her inventory and gave her a No-Doze shot which she consumed and some black coffee which she ignored. Still unconscious. I feel like the courier should be giving her CPR or taking her to a doctor but I can't see any options to do that. It's actually funny as all hell, but I'm wondering if she will ever recover or do I just chalk it up to lessons learned and leave her lying there? At least she had the "presence of mind" to collapse in a safe place where the Radscorpions and Legion hit squads won't chew on her.

I've noticed when I'm the provider that NPC's don't always consume what I give them during an activity but sometimes later on they will use it. And yes she followed me from near the junkyard where she was standing passed out and showed up in the motel. If I stay in walk mode and walk outside I noticed she would appear on the upper walkway in a minute or so. When I went back inside she reappeared in the room. Looking in the console she has a command to talk to the PC, probably because I activated her with the SOI hotkey but she can't fulfill the command because she is unconscious. Once she collapsed on the motel room floor she stopped following me around. Apparently she doesn't have the "Day Tripper" perk like my courier. Come to think of it, maybe she did too much No-doze and is down from sleep deprivation (which means I made the situation worse by giving her a No-Doze shot. Oops).

I thought I had unconscious checks in for the NPC, but I guess I forgot and only did them for the player. Now the hotkey should return in debug if they are unconscious/knockedstate and the scanner will exclude them.

Well I have no idea then. If he speaks the line, then you're getting his original dialog (not the dialog from this mod). I'll keep an eye out, but I don't have a clue why it wouldn't work for you. EDIT: Just a hunch. I bet the English version would work for you. I think the dialog conditions aren't being applied to his original dialog in non-English, because it's trying to apply it to an English entry. I don't know how the different translations work, just something I thought about that might make sense. If that's the case, I could probably fix it by editing the original entries directly to include the choices, instead of adding an optional entry. However, the result would be that this mod would no longer be compatible with any other mod that makes dialog changes to any of the affected NPCs. Which means there will eventually be a lot of NPCs that other mods couldn't touch without forcing you to make a choice between said mod and this one. Edited January 19, 2016 by t3589
