You did install FNIS because you have FNIS.esp, however have you also run FNISforusers.exe (?). None of that also matters here much because your XPMSE.esp=0 - that means skeleton is disabled. If it is disabled - items try to stick to the skeleton bones which are non-present - bacause skeleton is disabled they will follow you as a ghost on the ground (game decides for itself where they would be visible, some can also fly above your head - not only on ground). You need to enable Skeleton XPMSE.

EDIT: I see this second time overall. First time was like two years ago. It was a problem with other items flying above dudes head. But it had something to do with non correct generation of dual sheath redux patch also. And i see the reproccer. This looks like a very old setup.

Vortex decide to disable the xpmse for some reason when I copy the order, but xpmse was enable when I took the screenshot. Also like you ask I did run Fnisforuser. but the problem is still there for that specific gag only, all the other are fine

You don't need xpmse.esp enabled (i don't have it either), because you have dD - Realistic Ragdoll Force - Realistic.esp already active. XPMSE skeleton used by FNIS comes from the skeleton.hkx file, not .esp.

But i was thinking you might have some other mod overriding the gag, there are a few possibilities i haven't seen before. For example "Devious Devices - Expansion.esp=1" or "Enchanted Devious Devices.esp=1". Run whole mod setup through TES5Edit and look for conflicts on the specific gag, it should tell what mod wins it (and possibly breaks it too).

Well, thats unfortune. Than look at Zaflis solution - to use TES5Edit. It could be the only way for you to track cloned gag. TES5Edit just only looks like a complicated program, but imho it really isn't. But be sure to use most actual version which for today is: 4.0.2 from nexus - (12 april 2019). It has been seriously actualized from v3 to v4, which also changed a littlebit the interface and increased speed while on multi-core cpu's. So it shuoldn't be such a pain to use as older version 3 was.

"My eyes hurts from source code study. But here you have it - solution for the gag-mouth-bug in DDi 4.3a ... which will let your character mouth to open "even after" solo or Act. Already tested it - and it's working.

1. Go find official version, previous version DDi 4.3

2. locate inside 4.3 archive file which is named: zadGagEffect.pex

3. replace the same file with this one which is installed somewhere in your mod setup - in DDi 4.3a

PSC - are source codes to view in any text editor, you need to replace PEX - which is pre-compiled file

Devices not showing in inventory or they look just like a laid rope (but they are visible on player character).

However this will require of some time effort to make all devices visible in inventory that way or another. So i will wait for the next release of DDx to come ...

Peace. ✌️?

EDIT: Solution is to change Inventory Female World Model for every single rope item - to point to a correct mesh (NIF file). I mean it is correct if the file exists and you want to leave it like that - to see a laid rope instead of exact model. But i find it esteticaly unpleasant for eyes to see the laid rope instead of an exact model.

EDIT2: Also would be a good idea to correct the Male World Model... Not everybody plays Skyrim as a female character.

BUG: Pet Suits - incorrect mesh usage - shows as Armbinder in character inventory, colors also mismatched at item view and item description.

Items:

Black Ebonite Pet Suit - color ok (black) - mesh ok (Pet Suit)

Black Leather Pet Suit - color not ok (white) - mesh not ok (Armbinder)

Red Ebonite Pet Suit - color not ok (black) - mesh ok

Red Leather Pet Suit - color not ok (white) - mesh not ok (Armbinder)

White Ebonite Pet Suit - color not ok (black) - mesh ok

White Leather Pet Suit - color ok - mesh not ok (Armbinder)

Solution: change all Leather Pet Suits at Inventory Female World Model to point to correct mesh: "devious\FeuerTin\petsuit_go.nif" instead of armbinder mesh. Fix colors also.

I just installed this mod as well as the Laura's bondage shop mod. One of the issues I was having was with the chain collar which this is a fix for. But I am also having problems with the ball gags which are invisible on the female character for me. Other gags like the bone gag work fine and the animation is also working. Anyone got any ideas for what could be wrong?

Give me exact long item name and i will look into that DD as i did for whole weekend. Now i know how to look at them. Will let you know if something is buggy with DD mesh (so this could be another bug) - or something is bad at your side of mods setup that you use. Go into Skyrim and give me full name of that item.

EDIT: Oh, ok. I'm littlebit tired - now i understand. But also have checked two random meshes - they are fine.

Spoiler

There are however many ball gags:

Black Ebonite Gag (Ball)

Black Leather Gag (Ball)

Black Ebonite Gag (Pony)

Extreme Ball Gag Harness (Black)

If none above shows - that means mods setup problem. Or if you play as Argonian or Khajitt or an Orc. Somebody else should answer your question as there are mods like: "Beast Race Refits". Made for gags for beasts... I however don't play beast races at all.

For sure there is something wrong with your mods setup - because i didn't found anything wrong with ball gags, while playing Nord Female. Might be that some other mod is doing this for you... Or you play Male character - and in that case would be good to look at mod called "Devious Devices For Him".

EDIT2: I don't know how well do you know how to use mods around here - but if you are new to using mods might be good thing to checklist out how you have set up your configuration. I made a Fast Guide for starters:

Spoiler

1. Most people here probably use: Skyrim Mod Organizer 2.0 or Skyrim Mod Organizer Classic 1.4

2. Everybody here use SexLab 1.62

3. Everybody use Skyrim Script Extender - SKSE

4. Everybody here use BodySlide and Outfit Studio (to generate body presets, and outfits to that body - also gags and other items like armbinders)

5. Everybody have run FNIS - Fores New Idles in Skyrim (that means not to only install it but run FNISforusers.exe - to make animations - there would be need to run again FNISforusers.exe especially when you install another mod, or your load order has changed, also run it again when Struggle animation to devices don't play, or iddle animations too)

6. People use XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended - XPMSE or if on Skyrim Special Edition they use XPMSSE

7. People use UNP or CBBE body types - both comes from point 4.

8. Most of them also the HDT Physics - which is a plugin to SKSE

9. People use Armor Packs Replacers or Standalone versions

10. Many, many, many of people use:

a) DDi - Devious Devices Integration

b) DDx - Devious Devices Expansion

c) DDa - Devious Devices Assets

I'm having a slight issue with the new rope assets. I installed the updated mods and built the assets in body slide.

The white, the red and the black variants of the rope leg cuffs fit perfectly, but the default rope leg cuffs are too big. I'm assuming when I built the FT_Rope_Harness_legs in body slide, it should have built it for all 4 variants? I'm not sure what I've done wrong?

Also, I'm unable to find white, red, black variants of the rope armbinders, gags and collars. do these variants exist?

there are problems with animations that change the player’s movements (armbinder and others) after loading save or change the location of the hand and body play standard animations.
can anybody give advice on how to fix this?

Welp! Tried that - but LL seems to have limit of 114MB on file. Rules don't approve to share via any other site than LL - without permission given. File size had still around 708MB while highest possible compression used in 7-zip.

Sorry - it just didn't work via file sharing by LL !

That's sad because i even made fomod adjusted changes to installer for only UUNP...

Spoiler

fomod_installer_unp_only.JPG.f55b0da52922adbc0ff843b9508154f4.JPG

The same could be done with installer - for CBBE.

But if somebody will give me permission i think i could be sharing both reduced in size, highly compressed versions - at my Mega drive. ?

At least i think i would know how to prepare files to be smaller, and working correctly with fomod installers. Both: CBBE and UUNP.

@Kimy Hello Kimy! Officially i want to ask You as a Team Leader - for a permission to share repacked, recompressed & reduced in size - two versions of Devious Devices Expansion 4.3a - by my Mega drive.

What i will like to make and share:

 - Devious Devices Expansion 4.3a UUNP.7z ( 708 MB)

 - Devious Devices Expansion 4.3a CBBE.7z ( 367 MB)

Link to Mega download will be given only here in the post with description - at this thread. I will not change anything to the original files.

I want to separate original installer (1400 MB) to make two installers for UUNP & CBBE. By using highest possible compression of 7-zip with adjusted, working FOMod installers for those separated version. (allready have them prepared and working, tested with: Mod Organizer Classic v1.4 & Mod Organizer v2.2.1)

Please give permission - for people here who use limited data plan (mobile pre-paid or slow internet connection). Without Your permission - according to the rule:

  • You can NOT post this mod or any of its parts (including any derived works) outsides of LL without explicit permission.

I cannot share files also here by "drag & drop" inside LL post due to file size limit of 114 MB.

And even highest compressed files - will be bigger than this size limit.

Thank You!

What differences are between the two files and what changes were made to the items themselves?  If it's just an FOMOD change, it probably won't happen any time soon.  A better option would be to offer it in segments that was done a long time ago on a lot of mods.  Another suggestion would be to find sites that offer you to transfer the file to another sharing drive where you could go to say a coffee shop with free WiFi and transfer it from that to say a tablet, bring it home and transfer the file from the tablet to the PC.

Hi GuruSR, i'm glad you asked this - and i'm glad to share solution here. However i'm against splitting archive files. Reason: people might download only the first file without .001, .002, etc. files - and report back that "it is not working" for them.

In the main installer (original 1400 MB) - there is a folder structure:

image.png.08375e3236e3c158418220a938025e87.png

So the FOMod has option to choose between CBBE or UUNP.

This would be better done with 01 merged in with 00 to remove the need for any of the choices.
