Deviously Cursed Loot LE 9.0 (2021-03-09)

Can someone give me a clue or even outright tell me what do to advance to the next stage for iron shackles for the Damsel in DIstress quest? I'm starting to think it's a bug, since i've played for 3 hrs and none of the stuff has worked for me, despite me searching this topic for hints. What i've done so far:

 

 

- Got out of the stage, need to free hands still, and have iron shackles, cant struggle out of them, and cant access my inventory

- Went to Markath, tried to get blacksmith to remove restraints via (i've been locked in restraints.....), but even when conversation is successful, gloves are stripped off, but shackles stay.

- Went to a couple of court wizards, they couldn't remove shackles

- Went to thieves guld (hoped the could pick it), they couldn't remove shackles

- Tried searching for keys in loads of containers, but even if i found keys, cant access inventory obviously

 

 

 

I'm using DCL version 5.5, but am still using DDI 2.9.2, so it shouldn't be a compatibility issue. Thanks.

 

All of the arm restraints in the DiD quest can be removed without help from anyone else (in fact, that applies to all the restraints in that quest, not just the arm restraints). Mostly through struggling, but in one case (leather bindings), you need to find a sharp item in containers/plants/mines. Many of them (like the shackles) require you to have one or more Arm Restraints keys in your possession when you struggle, so make sure you have those.

You can update DCL from any 5.x version to 5.6 by installing the new version over the old one using your mod manager and it -should- work. You can NOT upgrade a version prior to 5.0 to 5.6. In this case you need to start a new game.

 

DDI's newer versions are backwards compatible as well. Uninstall the old version, install the new version.

 

In both cases, make sure that the position in the load order remains unchanged!

I have an issue with failed solicitations, where the customer is going to report me, but instead tries to arrest me themselves.  More often than not, this doesn't work properly.  Either they cannot arrest me, but they leave me tied up (not in a dev device, just tied up), or they tie me up but then don't do anything.  I have to reload.

If player is using Death Alternative, then POP MCM has an option for anyone to arrest the character through DA. This works well, when the arrest is done through combat or surrender. Other mods may have problems with it though.

 

If it does cause a problem with Cursed Loot, then disabling the option from POP MCM to allow anyone to arrest the character through DA should fix this.

It works for you with all NPCs and not just guards?

 

Hmm... then my reply may have been misleading. I will have to test this again, because I only managed to get guards to arrest me through DCL+POP when I played with my test profile without DA active.

Has Shaky Hands stopped working for anyone else?

I just got an idea for this mod, anyone remember some oblivion mods that I think would use the bondage stuff from player slave encounters or similar mods and make them appear on the player or npc if they were struck by one of those game world traps? Well skyim has some game world traps that normally shoot either flames or fireballs oh and those soul gems that fire lightning or ice they could instead fire a projectile based spell that instantly equips one piece of DD on the target. May slow the firing rate so it doesn't cause ctd or something though.

Also enemies that could cast a spell at the player or npc which do the same thing. Think of all those poor weak witches and warlocks that don't stand a chance against the player or lydia?

Suggestion for a future update.

 

Add a toggle/slider to increase the chance of uncontrollable lust firing while in sneak. The logic is while in that crouching stance the pc's underwear would tighten and add stimulation increasing the chance (or timing)

May I ask what creature is supported for Combat Surrender? I did surrender to a troll but he did not rape my PC, and one of the out come triggered instead.

 

You need Defeat for that.  With some tweaking on Defeat and CL you can run both together so sexing will work on both with humans and creatures.  Defeat also does allow you some custom selecting of what animations to run, especially when you have lots of custom (extras on top of sexlab) animations loaded.  There's some great troll and giant ones.

Now that you mention it, it looks like it doesn't work anymore for me either. I thought I was just being lucky, but now I put a key into a container and back many many times and never lost it.

First off, there is no error message and no CTD. The game runs fine. The problem is that DCL never shows up in MCM and I don't get a message in the upper left saying its menu has been loaded. I've also found that it will show the files having been loaded if I search "help cursed" in the console.

 

This sounds to me like its disabling itself, so I checked if I had any mods related to children, sure enough there was killable children. Regardless of this, I deleted the mod and it's still causing me issues. Anyone have any ideas? Here is a list of my downloaded mods:

The permission issue aside (I don't maintain an active presence on Nexus btw. so I am not sure if a Nexuser would be overly likely to talk to a complete stranger from "that naughty place"), the mod also has no Bodyslide sliders that I could see. Yes, as the author said, it will -work- with any body, as it covers all of it by design, but it's not very likely to match the body you're otherwise using, which could be a bit of an immersion breaker.

 

That being said, it looks awesome. Shame, really.
