Mine's just my setup on how I play and make mods at home. A very cheap generic LCD 1600ish monitor hanging and a very old pc bellow it.

I play sitting on bed all the time, and eventually use bluetooth mouse and keyboards when tired, and need to lay down.

My avi is just a cool drawing of the coolest alien there is : Paul.

 

Made some tweaks to make the middle finger light like my fellow E.T. in Spielberg movie. Kinda alien joke.

I was randomly browsing the PennyArcade forums some 10 years ago, which I normally don't do and have only do so 3 or 4 times in my life. Me being an impressionable 16 year old decided to download and save the avatar after seeing another user with it.  Some 2-3 years later I became really active in the Manga translation community as a scanlator and needed an avatar for the mangahelpers forums. Browsing my options I decided to shamelessly steal the PA user's avatar I had stolen so long ago, as I liked it and it was one of the few Avatar appropriate images I had saved.  7 years later I got so used to it that it just feels weird to use any other avatar.

 

Whoever the original artist is I have no idea. The times I've tried to curiously find out have only resulted in tracing it back to myself or the original PA forum user. To either the original artist, original PA forum user, or whomever else; I'm sorry. However, GOD DAMNIT, I WANT ANSWERS.

I have been wondering about that avatar since the day I first registered to this forum, and it turns out it's still a mystery? Damn you cruel internet!

The only one who knows is a guy on a forum from ten years ago. What if he got it from someone else as well? The goose chase could be endless...

 

Also, you're a scanlator too?? Things like this perfectly illustrate why I have the avatar that I have.

Mine was drawn for me by a friend on another site. I've been called Manda-Panda by my parents since I was a baby, so I asked the friend if she would make an Onigiri Panda. It was either this one, or a shot of my half-nord's ass. Which, I may still change it to that now that I see others have similar perverted avies.

Desperate for a cool and smexy pic that can be made as an Avatar which have an awww factor in it, I google ****** and as you can see, the result is Cammy in a questionable SS attire that would fit her into role of dominatrix instead of interrogator. I don't know what the hell I'm typing here as there only 4 hours before dawn in here, and I haven't had a slightest feeling to sleep just yet. Yeah me~~~!

From this video specifically. Around the 20 second mark. I set the video to the highest quality, went full screen, and took a screenshot just as the blood was dripping from her mouth. Then opened it up in Photoshop, sized it and cropped it, and bam. My avatar.

 

I like the dark stuff for some reason. :P

Mine is a pic of Supercow, the secret superhero identity of Cow, from the cartoon Cow & Chicken. The title bit is her battle cry meaning "Supercow to the rescue". I picked this image because I adore the cartoon. It is so delightfully bizarre and zany.

 

As for the nickname, that is a longer story. I shall keep it brief: I giggle a lot in RL and I am big boned, so one day a "friend" said I reminded him of the old La Vache Qui Rit (The Laughing Cow) cheese commercials. And the name La Vache stuck. About 10 years passed and I got more cynical, so "La Vache" morphed to Vachnic (Vache Cynic).

Yawn-worthy, I know.
