dtim Posted July 23, 2014 Author Posted July 23, 2014 why are the eyes black now? I don't know that any of the children should have black eyes. Which races? Have you installed the Remodel or Xvision mods? Have you uninstalled one of those? Post a screen shot.
aoeland Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 You forgot Skykids by en_hawk http://www.loverslab.com/topic/22395-wip-skykids-child-races-other-technical-goodies-vanilladlc-npc-replacer-updated21714/ RCOTS by Glouf http://www.loverslab.com/files/download/326-rcots-children-of-the-sky-reworked/ Skykids is on my list to look at. RCOTS is an updated version of Children of the Sky? Looks like it's not being supported anymore either. Not sure which version to use then. I'll have to think about it. Edit: Looks like the mods have removed RCOTS for rules violations. I'm not touching it. Hi, your mod is awsome. I also need support for Skykids. Currently the non-human races are fine, but the human races (Imperial, Nordic, red guard) look by default (Potato kids). I keep trying solutions, but any help is welcome.

Currently the non-human races are fine, but the human races (Imperial, Nordic, red guard) look by default (Potato kids). I keep trying solutions, but any help is welcome. Right. It will be that way until I can get to making a compatibility mod. I'm basically doing them in the order that they have been requested, so it'll be 2-3 weeks before I get to SkyKids. RS Children is almost done. Next is TK Children, Children of the Sky, and then SkyKids. I'm probably going to draw the line at doing 5 of these things. I want to work on other parts of the mod. why are the eyes black now? I don't know that any of the children should have black eyes. Which races? Have you installed the Remodel or Xvision mods? Cricgck Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 I'm really looking forward to the RS version! Me too
dtim Posted July 24, 2014 Author Posted July 24, 2014 Okay, I've finished with RS Children. I think everything is in place and testing went fine but RS Children is a mess to work with so I may have missed something. Let me know if you encounter any problems. I did the best I could matching face and body colors. If anyone thinks they can improve them more, I'll point them to the related files.
Guest Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Great shot on the RS Version. I'm having one problem which may or may not be related to my other mods. The birthed children's eyes end up clipping high on the forehead. Is anyone else having this issue? I'll disable some suspect mods and edit this post with results. Edit: Pic of the issue described above

Edit: Pic of the issue described above Specifically do you use any mods that alter female eyes? Let me know because it may be a problem with one of the "loose" files that RS Children uses - Actors\Character\Character Assets\EyesFemale.nif Just disabling an esp won't fix this. I'll send you an altered version of my mod for testing later today. edit: Also, this just occurs with the birthed children? Not the built-in game children?

Just my eye mod, but it doesn't replace or edit the EyesFemale.nif. And, correct, only birthed children are affected by this. The vanilla children altered by RS Children have no issues. I'd be happy to test.

Cricgck Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 mine is working fine now any recommendation for a mod that include pregnancy armor... or something like that? like a maternity Robe ... or dress
dtim Posted July 25, 2014 Author Posted July 25, 2014 Yeah, I'm having the same exact problem. Freaky looking. Just my eye mod, but it doesn't replace or edit the EyesFemale.nif.And, correct, only birthed children are affected by this. The vanilla children altered by RS Children have no issues. I'd be happy to test. Okay, I'm attaching a file with a couple of scripts to extract to the data directory. Anyone who wants to download this note that it is essentially for testing purposes and the files will need to be deleted at some point in the future or they will continue to override what is in the BSA files that I release. Once you extract the scripts, run the game, let Children+Soul Gems load. Go somewhere there aren't any children. In the addon menus, select Children + Soul Gems -> Module Information. Below "RS Children Compatibility" you should see a few new options; click "Reset Eyes". Wait for the dialog indicating it finished then go find a child and see if it is fixed. The reason you need to go somewhere there aren't any children first is because the eye changes won't actually be applied until the child is graphically reloaded. You may need to go to a different city and back but I think just a different building will do. Basically, when the RSChildren compatibility mod got loaded it didn't initialize fully for some reason. Similar problems could occur on the hair and clothes. Bobx3 had the same problem, I think, with Xvision. If this works, I'll incorporate the changes into the other appearance mods so that problems like this can be fixed without having to uninstall then reinstall. mine is working fine now any recommendation for a mod that include pregnancy armor... or something like that? like a maternity Robe ... or dress I've been looking for the same thing. /sigh If you happen to find something like the vanilla clothes adjusted to show pregnancy let me know. I think that's easier than convert every armor... like a maternity clothes...

I think that's easier than convert every armor... like a maternity clothes... That would probably work for me as well. But it would definitely need to be part of a pregnancy mod then. I don't want to have to manually equip the clothes. I actually did find a few pregnancy weighted clothes. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/19433-texture-fixedunpb-bbp-pregnant-conversion-of-princess-of-the-woods-armor/ http://www.loverslab.com/topic/18466-pregnant-armor-meshes-unpbbbpreg-updated-w-fix/ http://www.loverslab.com/topic/20799-pregnant-weighted-tbbp-armor-bodyslide2/ http://www.loverslab.com/topic/24997-pregnancy-tbbp-skimpy-vanilla-clothes/ I found these before and set them aside in my mind as all of them are based on armor/clothing that doesn't fit the game in my opinion, but you might find something you like.
bobx3 Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Just wanted to let you know that I finally did get a chance to play again and I figured out what my problem was. I tired everything you said and it didn't work... and then I realized that I had failed to install the 1.2 version of the base mod Doh! Xvision Looks and works great. Might take RS for a spin now.

Guest Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 The reset eyes function didn't work when I used it, Dtim. =/
JUSSME Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 game CTD if I give birth while riding a horse. That should be prevented until I come off the horse

The reset eyes function didn't work when I used it, Dtim. =/ Okay. Double-check your load order. It should have RSkyChildren.esm, Children+SoulGems.esm, and Children+SoulGemsRSChildren.esp in that order (though there may be others in between). If you still can't find a problem, send me a list of the mods that you are running. The file C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Local\Skyrim\plugins.txt has this. I'll double check for potential conflicts. game CTD if I give birth while riding a horse. That should be prevented until I come off the horse This is going to be an issue with Hentai Pregnancy that I can't do anything about.
JUSSME Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 can you make the children protected? you set them essential. I would like to be able to kill them too. My children dont follow me and I cannot have them as a follower. But I have noticed my followers give birth which is cool, their children follow them. I am also using EFF (Extended followers framework)
bjornk Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 I currently use the original Hentai Pregnancy v1.19 (plus the soul gem birth ESP) with SexLab 1.35. I also have RS Children 1.1.0. I don't have any problems with any of these. I wonder if the mod package Children+SoulGemsRSChildren 1.3.rar would work with SexLab 1.35. I assume that it would, since there's an optional script package for SL1.5 compatibility. Is that right?

I deactivated all my plugins/ masters except for uspk, sexlab.esm hentai preg/ this mod, defeat and submit, open faced helmets. ( excluding skyui, racemenu/plugin,alternative race menu. Started a new file and Still have the issue of the child essential. Plus when I talk with them I only get the option to ask where their birthday, name and sometimes to move to another place The children do not take any damage.Regular Skyrim children do

Changing that creates a bunch of mess that needs to be fixed in other ways so it's not something I'm going to be getting to any time soon.
