JUSSME Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 I deactivated all my plugins/ masters except for uspk, sexlab.esm hentai preg/ this mod, defeat and submit, open faced helmets. ( excluding skyui, racemenu/plugin,alternative race menu. Started a new file and Still have the issue of the child essential. Plus when I talk with them I only get the option to ask where their birthday, name and sometimes to move to another place The children do not take any damage.Regular Skyrim children do I looked at it a bit more and it's not because they're flagged essential, it's because they're flagged as children. Changing that creates a bunch of mess that needs to be fixed in other ways so it's not something I'm going to be getting to any time soon. K thanks for letting me know. Although I unistalled the mod because me and my followers kept having too many kids. I couldn't figure out how to get them to start aprenticeship training and they couldn't die so I had to many of the followers kids around. But also couldn't you add a feature to the growth thing to change them to adult npc after they learn their trade or a fully grow?
Cricgck Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Hey, I wanted to tell you I find a mod that makes possible the belly scaling in the vanilla clothes and armors. it's not complicated, and the only requirement is the Skeleton Mod 2.02 that came out recently. It works for me. (http://www.loverslab.com/topic/32155-unpb-psb-pregnancy-scalable-vanilla-armor-and-clothing-meshes/) Good Luck

The only reason they should follow is if the growth option is turned on so I'm assuming this is the case. if a kid is born in a town then after they reach full growth they will stop following you and start doing town scripts. If you talk to them during outside of 8am-3pm then you have dialogue options regarding the apprentice stuff. Having them turn into adults is outside the scope of what I want to do. If someone else wants to work on a modification to do that, I'd happily provide any event hooks, etc. that would be needed.

The author says that no changes were made to the clothing models, though. I tried this once myself and the results were terrible in my opinion. Maybe gullu did a better job than I could.
Zorlond Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 But also couldn't you add a feature to the growth thing to change them to adult npc after they learn their trade or a fully grow?Having them turn into adults is outside the scope of what I want to do. If someone else wants to work on a modification to do that, I'd happily provide any event hooks, etc. that would be needed. ... Ya know, this kinda annoyed me. For at least a year, people in here have been asking for a childbirth mod that would take a kid from being born, through being a child, and into being an adult in-game. Heck, at this point, I'd think folks for settle for a crude and plain spell that just 'shazam's a kid into growing up. But every time someone asks, the answer the various modders is always "No, I'm not going to do that". Not 'can't', just 'don't want to'. Note my phrasing. Past tense. Tonight, I was annoyed by this enough to actually go looking for the means of mangling a hunk of barf-worthy code that could do this. I'm no modder, I have no illusions about that. Any code I would ever manage to get this done really would be utterly hideous and probably crash half the time. But what I found aborted any attempt to even try to make an elephant-man of code. You guys aren't even working with a Skyrim-made modding kit (closest you get is tricking Fallout's kit to sort-of work). No quasi-english coding language. You seem to be doing this entire site's worth of mods by messing around with hexidecimals. Oh sure, outfits are easy, tweaking wireframes too, there's a couple tools for that (hence why there's so damn many outfit/body mods out there). But the scripts? The game mechanics? Uh uh. I'm not annoyed by that lack of willingness anymore. I'll accept that even a crude method of having Skyrim children grow into adults is probably far more work than anyone not interested in it would be willing to spend. I'll just salute your efforts in the name of... well, perversion, when you get right down to it... and acknowledge that you modders are doing work way better than I ever possibly could.

I'll just salute your efforts in the name of... well, perversion, when you get right down to it... and acknowledge that you modders are doing work way better than I ever possibly could. I'm not sure what modding tools you looked at but I mostly use the Skyrim Creation Kit which was released by Bethesda. It's crash-prone and the scripting language has some seriously mind-bending quirks but it's not too bad. If you want to look at the scripting language, open any of the .psc files in data\scripts\source. My files are packed into the bsa archives so you would need an extractor to view those. The difficulty I have with the Creation Kit is usually figuring out where to start to make what I want, which is one reason I give Kitsune32 so much credit for figuring out the initial stuff. To be clear, my "I don't want to" is more like "I'm focused on children right now, don't get me side-tracked." Just having the children turn into adults wouldn't be that difficult. The time consuming part would be creating the AI scripts and such so that adults act differently from children. Maybe that part isn't so important to you but if I were to implement this it would drive me nuts to not have them behave differently. Anyway, my point is that I can help get you started. If you still have interest, download the Creation Kit (that's what it's called under Tools in Steam, no Skyrim in the name) and let me know. I could create a basic framework pretty quickly and tell you what pieces would need to be filled in.
bob11 Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 I'm using the RS version. The nord daughter preset seems weird. Their cheeks seem a bit too full and their eyes are slanted. I tried Breton and the facial structure seems fine so it might be an issue with the nord presets only. Also, not sure if it's the current state but all children of the same race look basically the same no matter the town they're born. EDIT: No, both nord and imperial come out weird. Imperial eyes are placed too high (sockets and all so it's not the issue someone else posted). I'm using a number of replacers and the latest Racemenu. I'll try checking whether something messes up, although it's weird that it didn't do it for the breton children.

In regards to the aesthetics of what a child should look like in-game, I'm clueless. (The default children look just as good to me as any of these mods do except for the limitations in hair styles.) I'll try adjusting them in the next release. Edit: And in regards to all children of the same race looking the same, that's correct. You can't change their features on-the-fly through scripting without doing some ridiculous (and unsupported) tricks.
Havik79 Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 When an npc has had its pregnacy end, does the body go back to normal after time?, so far 2 npcs I have gotten pregnant are still using the pregnant body.

Check your settings in the Hentai Pregnancy mod. There's something called "post-pregnancy effects" or something like that. If it's turned on they continue to use the pregnancy body for a while. I can't remember whether you can set the length of time or not.

I mean, Nord children look slightly weird but imperial females for example look like their eyes are set too high, it's not just ugly, it seems unnatural that the eyes would be that high so I thought something overwrote something but it's hard to pinpoint. I use MO so I can see and correct the obvious overwrites. I already tried disabling my npc replacers but there doesn't seem to be any change. Would eye mods cause issues like that cause I have a bunch, like Eyes of Beauty, True Eyes, Magnetic eyes.

And apparently all the info I looked up on Skyrim modding was wicked out-of-date. Thanks for pointing that out, dtim. I'm not sure I'd attempt any modding myself (I was serious about not having any modding skill), but at least I can poke around looking at things, and think about it.

Eh, yours seems ok, mine has the eyes much closer to the forehead so there's a rather large distance between the eyes and the nose, which makes it look weird. Not sure what's the problem with it. Bretons come out ok btw for some reason, and the Dark elves for example, while rather ugly like all TES elves, at least have normal face geometry.

I'll double-check it in actual game (I just loaded the editor earlier) sometime this weekend when I have time and make sure nothing weird is going on when the Imperial female gets spawned. What eye mods are you using? I can try to see if there is some problem with those. Edit: You listed Eyes of Beauty, True Eyes, Magnetic eyes ealier. Any others? And, yeah, nothing much I can do about the Dark Elves.

I've set the RSChildren mod so that it doesn't get overwritten so its eye meshes should be ok. I'm also using its override .esp.

(Mila Valentia for instance) Or just the ones produced by my mod? That's probably the best indicator of where the problem is.

Yeah, that's definitely pregnancy effects. It's supposed to be leaking milk, heh. Cum inflation is the belly expanding like pregnancy right after sex even if they don't get pregnant, I think. While they aren't the best looking kids, there doesn't seem to be an obvious face geometry issue. Edit: Crap, I forgot the redguards. I'll do those tomorrow.
