i played as a vampire with elin 2, it works. But if yer gonna be a vampire lord as a female i suggest http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9717/?and http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25321/? 


 

Check your other saves to see if they don't have animations.  If your other saves have animations then the save that has the problem is likely corrupted.

 

If they all lack animations then start a new game with your current mods.  If the problem persists, try having Steam verify the game cache for missing or corrupt game files.  If the problem is gone, something went wrong when you cleaned your saves.

ok thanks alot, i checked my other saved files..sooo ill try steam next time on a high speed connection...im working off my phones internet..stupid internet company wont give us high speed...

 

ok so i did the whole did..even ran fnis after a reboot, and loot...my player and all other characters still move in this weird statue x like thing...

Did you let Steam verify your game cache?  Did Steam download and installed some of the game files?

The process is like reinstalling the game so you need to run the game once using the game launcher (TESV.exe) from the Skyrim folder.  Do not launch with a mod manager or the skse launcher.

 

You do not have to start the game, only go as far as the menu that pops up then exit.  Now launch FNIS Generator and try again.  Afterwards, you can launch the game from the skse launcher or mod manager.

Is tera elin race 2.x compatibility with vampires and how i can do 1 hand sword at back? 

 

 

If you don't have RaceMenu you could manually edit the weapon strings inside the skeleton to make the swords go to the back.

 

Here's my edits for 1H Sword on back and Daggers at hip.

Put it inside Elin -> Meshes\actors\Tera Elin folder (make a backup of the old skeleton in case something goes wrong)

 

With this every Elin should have those weapon placements, even Elin npcs.

 

I try to make it by myself and.... 60-80% is complete i think

Is your skeleton attached to a spine?

I just renamed the strings actually, swords on back to be the default.

If you wanna use those in your own toon it's much easier to just go with RaceMenu weapon sliders, however you'll lose some of the elin ECE exclusive sliders

After half of day i finally did it. 1H back with attach to spine

Only sword, no daggers

I downloaded the newest update and she seems to be taller than the last one i used which makes her look really weird to me. Short Elins looks so much nicer

As for me i dont know how to make they looks like elin or loli. Its all what i can

How tall is she in your game?  Taller than the children or same height?

 

Any shorter and you will increase the current problems with certain animations and interacting with objects (using forges, sitting on chairs, etc.).

 

Are you using RaceMenu?  I'm working on making the race compatible so until then you will just have the base morphs, no extra morphs that appears when using ECE.

 

There are not much in the way of conversions that retain the Elin shape so what you wear will make them look less like Elins.  That can be remedied when I have the time later or sooner if someone is kind enough to help.

 

As for making them look cute, you just need to spend some time trying different slider combinations.

 

My avatar was made when I initially worked on the RM compatibility without the extra morphs.

Btw, I should have the RaceMenu compatibility done by the end of the week, provided CK does not give me a whole lot of grievance when it comes to compiling scripts.

Its not that shes tall its just the body is completly different, it looks like the default female body type.

 

Heres some images of the comparison, The two gifs i made shows the whole body and the other two shows half.

 

the last one is the current way it looks, she looks like a skeleton.. hmm, did i do something wrong here?

You can make some adjustments using the body sliders.  Until I can get more armors converted to the Tera body, there is little sense in using that particular body since equipping outfits that were made for other bodies will alter her shape.

YEah, but it was super cute tho. the head seems way smaller, and thats without altering anything. I kinda deleted the old version in favor of this one. im kinda upset i did that..

i didn't notice any height difference...but i dont play in third person much...

also that problem i had seemed to have just...cleared itself up..im still getting some crashing but thats skyrim for ya...sigh...

I'm using some of the replacement mods for the old Elin race while playing with this one, so I'd like to have idle animations for both Elin versions. I can't get both to work at the same time however. I first installed the old race and animations following the instructions, then ran FNIS. Everything worked fine, and I did the same for this version. However, the new one still had only default animations.

 

It looks like whenever ElinRaceIdle. esp is loaded, even if TeraElinRaceIdle. esp is loaded (before or after it) the animations for this version don't work. The old Elins' animations run fine though. If it's disabled, then the

 

Did I miss some critical info somewhere on how to get both mods to work simultaneously, or is there some other issue?

For Elin 2 there are now 2 different idle animations.

 

OPTION-ANIMATIONS_TeraElinRace2_IdleAnimation-v1-0-20141218.7z

  • This one uses the same animations as the idle for Elin 1.

 

OPTION-ANIMATION-Elin Dance Idle_v1-20150308.7z

  • This one replaces the extra animations with the Elin dance.  The base animation is slightly different, but basically the same sideways, hip-swaying animation.

Thank you for the response, but it wasn't really helpful to my issue. The error was entirely due to my own stupidity: I didn't need the Tera Elin Race 1 idle animations at all. Just enabling the Tera Elin Race 2 idles worked for both races, and having them both on screwed things up.

Is there a way to use the Elin HDT ears and tails with other custom races? Like monli or skykids?

Thank you for responding. Yes, I've seen those, But they don't have the ears and tails the elins do. Specifically i'm wanting to use bunny ears and tails on my character. The mod in the link only has dragons, foxes, and cats though.

 

I think what i'm looking for, is there a way to enable ears/tails option for other races in their racemenu. I have the elin mod installed as well. I'm still new to modding, but is there a few files i can copy from the elin file to the skykids file so they would have those options too? Else, is there a standalone mod or something? Thank you.

There are no standalone Elin ears and tail sets so in order to add them to another race, you need to spend some time with the creation kit to add them to the race.

Tryed the Tera Elin Race 2 and all i can say is: What the HELL are this? They look more like a Doll thrn a Elin? Just trying to make a Character tuck like Forever, No mater how i tryed just did not look right! Wold have been nice if the New Enhanced stuff wold have been made to work with the Tere Elin Race 1, like the "HDT Elin Ears and Tails" and "CM = Color Matching; Elin Ears and Tails"... So I'll just keep using the Elin Race 1!

Wow, rood much? If anything, Elin 2 looks more like the actual Tera Elins than Elin 1 does, because the Elins in-game have a sort of doll-like look to them and most of their eye types are closer to the Elin 2 shape. I just happen to prefer the Elin 1's bigger eyes over Elin 2 myself.

If this is the shit I have to contend with just because I go out of my way to for others (Elin 2 is the result of some people wanting a less anime-looking Elin) then starting from now, I will only accept requests that appeals to me.  I originally intended to turndown all requests, but I decided to reach some compromise.
