Hi, I saw a friend play this race and I saw something I was wondering if could be used on other races. One of the scars I believe was a Third Eye. I am wondering if it is possible to make that a mod for other races not just the elins? I think it would be an awesome thing to make a seer with.

It's possible, but best to use an eye mesh used by the vanilla races.  You will also need to add textures so that the third eye blends with the head.  Also you'll need morphs to add blinking and expressions like the other eyes unless you make the eyes static.

So recently these days I returned to Skyrim and I do love the changes. However I have one minor problem with four known triggers and am wondering if you know of a more practical solution:

 

1. Tail goes crazy into the floor upon floating up Tel Mithryn, normalizes floating back down (but I'd rather be able to go up without TCL and have a normal tail).

2. Arvak doesn't like dismounts and has the same problem. Workaround is to console kill Arvak every time (which would get a little old over time).

2b. Happens with normal horses too but it's harder to trigger due to different shape than Arvak.

3. Better Vampires sometimes freaks out when I sneak feed on a live person which I've grown accustomed to. However rarely it causes the tail to freak out causing me to resort to one of the above fixes (or to resort to a couple methods from Better Vampires to fix it but it involves combat).

 

So rather than use a bunch of workarounds I'm wondering if you know of a way to just solve that altogether (or a more practical workaround)? Though I've considered that as a side effect of HDT and Skyrim but figured I'd ask anyway. I tend to avoid horses as it is but sometimes riding a horse made out of bone would be neat.

I have not progressed that far into the game so I can't say If it's happening to me also.  Getting the HDT tails to work was not easy because they kept getting stuck in the floor so I am not surprised that certain animations, like the teleporter at Tel Mithryn, might induce problems.  I recall if the fps was higher than 60 then the physics will go crazy.

 

Is your game capped or running higher than 60fps.

 

You can try Skyrim INI Manager which tweaks the Skyrim INI files.  Maybe this might help.

I have ENB with it capped at 60 though I'll check out the tool with little optimism.

 

This was more wishful thinking if anything but figure I'd toss the problem out there and see if there was a convenient solution. The tails work perfectly fine otherwise but it was just those specific conditions that caused that.

I checked and the Elin 2 vampire does use the 'ActorTypeUndead' and 'Vampire' keywords.

I don't have Better Vampires, but I'll have a look at the mod although I won't be able to check for issues in my game due to not having progressed far enough in the game.

 

I use Himika's version of Race Compatibility because it does not edit the same scripts that mods like RC by TMPhoenix and Better Vampires edit.  This means that Himika's version should be compatible with Better Vampires.  However, I must admit I do not play as a vampire and only going by how the two types of Race Compatibility mods work to achieve the same goals.  Strange because I sometimes play as a werewolf and never had any problems even when using werewolf overhauls like Moonlight Tales.

 

Also I notice that you are using ECE and USLEEP.  ECE now has a RaceCompatibility patch for USLEEP.  Install the new patch and let me know if that made any difference for the better.

So I was watching the vid posted on the Better Vampires page on Google Sites and the author of the Lunari race got the same messages (no 'ActorTypeUndead' and no 'Vampire' keywords).  He claims it's because of the Alternate Start mod and choosing to play a vampire.

 

Here is the vid.  It could help you with any problems you have with Elin 2 and Better Vampires.

I don't know what cleared my problem but i followed your advice :

• Reinstalled all my mod and instead of choosing tera elin colormatch I choosed the normal version
• Installed racial compatibility from TMPhoenix + USLEEP patch
• Used loot but moved Better vampire in last position in the load order (loot had put better vampire before USLEEP Racial Compatibility Patch)
• Didn't installed ECE USLEEP patch but it worked without it anyway, will install it thought later
• I didn't use alternate start to turn vampire instead I used better vampire directly

Well I play vampire for the feel but also because I use CoT with dark night and dark dungeon so sometimes I can't see anything I need the vampire vision x)

Lastly can you reupload the image in the "How to delete bikini"? It doesn't show for me and the bikini is bugging with a custom outfit I have :x

I don't use Alternate Start so I'm not familiar with what options it offers so the problem could just be having Alternate Start, Better Vampires, and a custom race.

Alternate start allow to start without following the original skyrim quest. i like using it for starting directly as a member of the magic school or vampire...

I use hostingpics for directly linking image, they don't like you do this but they allow you

I have a clean save from when I escaped Helgen and reached Riverwood.  The game save does not contain any mods.  I also do the original intro because I might need to check on the Elin NPCs.

 

 

Imgur was always a problem.  Strange, the images will appear most of the time and all of the time when viewing the mobile version of LL.

Elin 2 has more face/head customizations for those people who want a more human-like Elin.  Elin 1 keeps to the original design from the Tera MMO.  They are not interchangeable, ie. Elin 2 can not use the hairs from Elin 1 and vice versa.

Both races share the same Powers and abilities.

I assigned her the regular 'femaleteraelin" voice, and yes there was absolutely no dialogue.. So I decided to take the matter into my own hands:

 

 

 

I've carefully selected voice samples from the vanilla TERA(Japanese) data, and converted them into my follower's voice. Damn, the voice acting is exceptional IMHO..
