Well, it's more about people who may share the sentiment now.

Sure, the OP's gone, but there's people who feel the same and maybe we want to discuss it.

Problem?

 

Too much talk, not enough nekked is the only one I can think of.

I didn't come with one.  Fell off the assembly line, hit the floor, lost some parts, got put back on the line, pushed forward, skipped quality control, then got sent off as a refurb product in a repair shop.

 

Sounds like a personal problem... or a set of them.

You don't seem to understand.  Nexus-types are worming their way in to LL and they're bringing their attitudes with them:

'I'm right, you're wrong.'

'I'm special because my mommy told me so.'

'I have a degree and I live with my parents.'

'I went to Fashion Week and I met Ariana Grande.'

etc.

You don't seem to understand.  Nexus-types are worming their way in to LL and they're bringing their attitudes with them:

'I'm right, you're wrong.'

'I'm special because my mommy told me so.'

'I have a degree and I live with my parents.'

'I went to Fashion Week and I met Adrianna Grande.'

etc.

 

A teacher did that to me once and he had to reconsider all of his life's decisions.
Then I put the ruler on his desk and sat back down.

 

Well, I don't care about the Nexus types. I like having nice discussions with decent people. Should a Nexus shit dispenser show up I can turn the other cheek and converse with other people who aren't driven solely by hormonal desire and tit physics.

 

Been dropped a couple more times since then, too.

HAHAHAHA! Cute.

Problem? Nope. Just thought we're unnecessarily keeping alive a superfluous thread about "wasted talent on LL" that has already been blown to oblivion by a more than sufficient and more than justified number of holy wrath cannonades. Thought it might be best to just let the poor bugger die and rot.

 

I do get your point, though. Blow away, then, and happy hunting, everyone. ;)

 

Oh, and as for sentiments ... I utterly disagree with the OP's insinuation that mod talent was "wasted" here on LL. On the contrary, there's very, very good stuff here, and a lot of very talented people putting in a lot of work on great mods that push the game way beyond the limits intended by Bethesda. Just for the records.

Then im probably a nexus type also was this a compliment or insult i :D

 

I come from nexus also last year i go over there almost everyday, did i bring the bullshit from nexus over to LL by any chance?

 

Kendo 2 tell me pls im willing to change and be a true LLer :P

It's sad but i think most of the community is just infatuated with digital sex and there are already so many sex mods out there and no-one gives a shit about regular modding. If they could put the amount of effort and expertise that they put into these amazing sex mods and things they make we could have the best and most talented community available for making mods. People look down on us for being sex addicts, and think loverslab is nothing more than a porn site. I think there should be more people devoted to making real combat, animations, scripts and new explorable lands. You all have so much potential that i feel is being wasted...

 

Make them yourself, or get off your self righteous horse and recognise that it's not any of your business what type of mod another person decides to make.

Agreed.  Hell, there is stuff going on with here with Oblivion that is cutting edge.  Very little has been coming out on the Nexus for Oblivion that hasn't started right here.  Everything from outfits to race modifications to....erm.......sex stuff.  

 

10 times that for FNV.  The LL guys/gals in the FNV section are constantly coming up with awesome shit, from modifying FOMM to everything else you can imagine.  

 

I don't hang much in the Skyrim section, but the fact that LL has the most updated sex framework system pretty much says all that is needed to be said.

 

To imply mod talent as "wasted" here is as stupid a statement as there is.  It is merely a silly and unfounded opinion.

This part alone main reason why I agree with you. Sad part is you don't understand what wasted potential is. Here a example. This person go week after week posting conversions every mod outfit get release or think people care about just get attention. Nine times out ten just tease community. This type of stuff make modding community like bad. With LL people sharing mods instead of keep them private. Well, most people here share mods ,but you understand what I'm getting at. Sit here posted Marie Rose Oblivion hair link for almost two months while watching every single bondage and sex outfit get converted to whatever body while watching people beg for Oblivion to Skyrim convert. I didn't say word, I didn't bad mouth community. Different strokes for different folks. :D

You know, I followed a link here from Hongfire, which is a great example of where interests, especially modders' interests, congregate. It's a discussion forum for anime, manga, music and games, but if you scroll more than halfway down the forum list, you'll see most the activity is going on in the Hentai section. And any adult game mod or translation that didn't originate there has a thread, including LoversLab. There's an awesomely talent pool of modders there who have a great interest in adult games, even if the mods they produce don't contribute specifically adult content, they make it for adult games.

I invited everyone participating there to come here as well and just mentioned the few rules LL has that are different from HF -- mainly no software piracy and no (even virtual) kiddie porn. Loogie posted there as well. The anti-kiddie-porn note started such a shitstorm that Ashal got involved eventually.

I haven't posted since, and won't.

 

HF has had an anti-piracy rule for years now, so the only dloads you can find there are user contributed. Since Japan's laws changed regarding depiction of minors in sexual situations, that's been toned down a bit as well. You still have some militant lolicons who enter discussion threads ready to tear into any game that doesn't specifically pander to their tastes, but they aren't very good bullies after you feed them their testicles. A general anti-kiddie porn notice is still troll bait, and if you're deliberately asking for the flames, of course administrators will intervene.
