Mercor Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 I think I'll just repeat what others said, but anyway : version 0.0.1 workd fine, I can go the town. The problem are the quests, when I select internal affairs or mine work, nothing happens (no restraints, no more dialogue with any NPC). When I select arena, restraints appear, but when I told me to follow him, he didn't move, and I couldn't move neither. The video is really good so I hope the mork will work soon. And thank you ^^
onikujo Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 I tried it completely devoid of any other mod as well, and doing so did nothing for me either. I didn't crash once, but even then there was no dialogue with the dude.

Can anyone please tell my if the new version (0.0.5b) works for them or if it's still broken please.

Does not feel that the character is trapped and will now be a slave. Even you can go to the master he meets you quite welcome. I understand that the quest at an early stage of development, then perhaps it would be better. Is it possible to make the situation more grim, and relation to the character more brutal, now he not a person, he thing or pet. Around chained slaves, perhaps many hanging from the ceiling. Some on the pillory, someone tied for disobedience Something like that. And probably will be more quests. For example, women could make forced into prostitution or to work in a brothel. Or give some related slaves to the party some nobles. Or put them up for auction, where a character can buy some farmer, blacksmith, nobleman, a brothel owner or someone else. Where the slave will work or serve as sex-toy (I use a translator, I'm sorry for the mistakes)

As soon as phase one (The one depicted in the video) is completed and refined I will move onto Phase 2 which will take place mostly in the docks area. The idea is that female characters will be used as whores, rented by nobles and hopefully even rented onto a Pirate ship to keep them company on a voyage. Male characters may get forced into mercenary work, used for labour etc.

It did exactly the same as version 0.0.1 :- I can go to the slave town without problems.- When I ask for the arena quest, I got restraints, but when I talk to the orc, he tolf my PC to follow him but nothing happened. - When I ask an another job, the restraints didn't appear and there were no more dialogique with any NPC. That's all I could notice ^^"

Imatterial Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Ok, so 0.0.5b works for me exactly the same way 0.0.1 does, its fixed the initial prologue quest, Gideon works properly, the quest and quest markers are assigned, I can travel to the Bee and Barb and the dialogue there with both NPCs works, the script in the basement works too, doors lock, screen tint appears, bed triggers when you wake up. When the PC wakes up in SlaveTown, Superman's dialogue works, quest marker updates to the master. Unfortunately thats as far as I can get, both the mining and internal affairs conversation option fail to trigger, the master just says he'll equip some restraints, then nothing, talking to him again just provides the same three job options. The arena option works, the master applies the restraints (love that by the way 'Can't have you wandering around naked.....here, wear this iron collar and some ankle cuffs to protect your modesty') and then I can go talk to Orc, follow the conversation and he says he needs to make the PC easier to move at which point the mod takes control of the PC, removing player controls and the orc just stares at you until you get bored and reload. I'm assuming a scripts failing to fire. Hope that helps, I've watched the naughtymachinima vid and from what I've played so far, looks like a great mod in the making. Keep it up!

I'll play around with load order and what not... It has to be with the way the quests are triggered from within the dialogue. Playing around to see what works.

Up to the teleport to the dungeon part all is as it should be - judging from your video. When i talk with Master John quests objective changes to "do work for the master". Every single npc in the area - including those 3 related to work quests - offer only basic talk options, and all of those comes from different mods or skyrim itself (make me bloodkin talk when you talk with orcs). So there is no way to start any work quest. But its still an improvement for me since i've never been able to get past the sleeping in the basement part

I think the problem was that I compiled all of the quest files with my prefix but then the CK gave some of them different prefixes which I didn't notice so didn't compile.

The idea is to have handcrafted slavery quest instead of just a general framework like SD. The player will not just sit around waiting to be raped but instead they will do jobs for their masters, including being used for sex but with more than just that.

I know lots of people like them, me I am looking more for a general one with less BDSM and more general stuff. Which is what you mod sounds like it is heading for. A pretty good idea of what I was hoping to see eventually is the tv series Spartacus by Starz.

(and pls make it work for both male and female PCs ) Yeah, I'm making sure that the dialogues check if your player is male or female first before it starts any sex scenes. I'm also obviously going to make gender specific jobs so that only women will be sent to work in a brothel and only men will be forced to work in the mines etc.
Mercor Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 OK so this is what I dicovered: - The mine quest doesn't work : No quest markers, and I didn't find the NPC I had to talk to. - I can't get Edie's skooma in the internal affairs quest, but maybe it is because I have a male PC? If it's not that, I guess it's a bug. - In the arena, nothing happens after defeating the draugr. My PC stands here and nothing happened. And I couldn't use spells nor shouts. I hope this will help you ^^

I tried again and if you select the arena first it has the same result at Imaterrial (0.0.5b). I'll see if you've uploaded another version now... (Sounded like it with the last few posts...)
