[...] A story or fantasy isn't made this way I think. If you read a story about a girl enslaved, I am sure most people don't really want to read "She stared blankly at the wall, waiting broken for the things be done to her next. And she waited. And waited etc" We indeed want to read some "action", even if this "action" is only progress describing her mental descend into submission. Well, I am not entirely sure if the last parts made that much sense . tl,dr --> The difference between you and me is maybe the distance we keep to the events on screen and our chars, though that doesn't mean one is not roleplaying ... But I don't want to derail the thread ... so, carry on to mod and test people, nothing to read here! Shoo! Cut out most of the exchange. I suspect the real key is the difference between "fun activity" and "repetitive grinding". The tricky part is what is fun for some is repetitive for others. Most of vanilla skyrim can be described as talk to NPC, get quest marker, clear out dungeon, grab loot, return to NPC to finish quest, repeat. The difference between fun activity and grinding is the story that can be hung on to that basic pattern. Some people will be able to fill that empty waiting with story, be it exploring ways to escape, trying to take care of basic needs, or even simply filling out what is happening in the PC's mind in between the rape an the abuse. Others have no interest in those stories, so the "down time" is just boring and repetitive. Though even those with interesting stories will run out of story material eventually if nothing ever progresses. One solution might be to copy prison overhaul. This mod has the option to skip the long walks through the city for those who have no interest in them. If the slave mod has an option to fade to black and cut to the next "action" sequence, you could please everyone, those that want to work out the details of the PCs slavery, and those that just want to get on with the next big change. Yeah, in the end gameplay trumps everything in my eyes. Mods are meant to be enjoyed and personally if a mod's just going to be a never ending rape sequence then I'd rather go watch porn, it's usually better quality.

Aye, I think sex-volume-wise something along the lines of Crowning Isle/Blackmail (love galgats mods), without so much have sex x amount of times to advance y quest would be ideal. But in truth I wouldn't aim to avoid them completely as they can be handy for making the mod feel longer and at the right time and used conservatively can make sense. But yea, story number 1 priority all day long! Either way, good luck with your creation! I look forward to the next release.

I'm just adding the finishing touches to the training sequence then it'll get uploaded soon. I think future quests will have varying levels of sex content. There would be lots of sex in a brothel quest or a pirate slave quest but not as much when hired by a nobleman for example.

The training and the punishment will not start! Only made a quick visit with the latest version, but until the arrival in the prison everyhing works just fine. Dialogue and markers get updated, teelport to the prison etc... Kal-El immediately starts talking to me (and the dialogue is much more refined, well done,, though I am also pretty sure some others will nitpick that they do not play the Dragonborn etc...I think that's neglectible however). However, as quoted above, the punishment doesn't seem to work for me either. Kal-El instead gets into some kind of dialogue-loop, he keeps approaching me and starts the dialogue, but nothing else happens and the marker above his head remains. I could, however, get past this by actively starting to talk to him. I think he still has his original dialogue-lines from the first versions? Picking those are updating the quests... I then talked to the Master, pissed him off which he responded "Take her to the arena" etc, yet I could just ask for something else to do, which worked (I successfully started the Investigation-Quest) but somehow seemed a bit weird and unintended? Didn't have much time to play on now. As for the sex not starting: I am using Sexlab 1.50 at the moment, with the ZAZ-Animation-Update for that version. Don't know if it has anything to do with it though, but better mention it I guess All in all this mod seems to go well. I also like the visual enhancements to the prison.

Understand?", then I have no dialogue options except "...", which is also incidentally how I start the conversation w the master to get him to speak. If I select "..." the master repeats his lines. So I can't proceed from that point.

After Kal-El's greet, he rapes you then he should force greet you again and if you just wait then you'll be teleported to the training room.

I like to RP and calling my PC Dragonborn totally destroys that RP value. She is a weak girl who depends on help from others, and uses sex to accomplish that. She can kill a wolf with a good bow if she gets really lucky, but a dragon? Not in this life. So calling her Dragonborn is like calling me "King of the World". Humph, get real. AAPS checks to see if character is PC or DB, why not put the same check with appropriate dialog in this mod? AND, I like where you are going with this mod, just don't do like FNV's version.

Most of the dialogue will be changed eventually but it's low priority. The main thing is getting things working as they should and then tweak from there.

Maybe later on developer will put in checks or options for this, and have slightly different dialogue chains, but for now he has to get a working mod fleshed out, cut him some slack on these somewhat fine details =P. Using sexlab 1.39b and the latest zaz which works fine the initial dialogue with kal does not progress past its last line to the sexlab scene. I also noticed that in the prologue I didn't need to rent the basement room though there was no option anyway even after it came up in dialogue. everything else works perfectly except for the weird book in the slavers house that just has a missing image sprite (not sure if that's just me) Keep up the good work. I should also say that talking to kal before he initiates the conversation allows you to choose the old topic which is how I tested everything else.

sashalag Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Same problems with 0.1.1. even quest markers have dissapeared in the new one. Tried a new game with a nord girl, so is not about custom races. Sexlab triggers works fine for me in Defeat mod (I tried it with Kal-el), and Zaz works fine with the prison overhaul mod. another bug found: loading screen freezes when changing from Bee and Barb to Docks, if you choose to sleep only one hour. Waiting for more beta tests

I played version 0.0.5c which worked perfectly for me (except the mining quest) and i really liked the mod, but i thought some people may not like the non-sexual quest. A solution could be that the PC could either talk nicely to the master or rude, and depending on that your life will be different. just an Idea. keep on working the concept is very promising

If people click on a player/slavery mod and read the description of the mod, then they download and play it and are unhappy to find non-consensual sex in the mod, then thats their problem. It would be fairly unrealistic to get kidnapped by slavers and be happy about it straight away after all.

Sex isnt neccesarily a part of slavery, like i said the laborer and fighter thing could be a part in it for people who want the threat of sexual violence to be there, but not the focus of the mod

Just saying Im not saying its all about sex, but on LoversLab there is (often) a high demand for sex to be a fairly prominent feature in these types of mods, A good storyline and a focus on the slavery side of things is of vital importance as well for immersion and realism. But I personally would be a bit disappointed if 8/10 quests I was running around doing errands as a slave with no sex, but then, I think of it more as she has been taken as a sex slave, Why would they need or want my hot player character to be just another errand runner =/. I guess we all play in different ways @Gislo, its not Heromasters mod lol, why are u askin him -.-
