Deemer Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Just have to say I love this mod and appreciate all the great work you've done with it! makes so much more sense to actually have to work a little for the good parts than just throwing spells around imo
Antonio121989 Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015  Just for curiosity, is this mod the knid that only think in having sex with women? Because I have a woman character and until now only one man could be beded (Rolof) is there others, or this mod is just about talking girls into bed you? Most of your potential partners are female. You can romance Hod (Gerdur's husband) and a couple of the male companions. For more romance options with male characters, you may want to try the Skyrim Romance Mod. http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/1679-skyrim-romance-mod/   Can I use Amourous and this romance together?
Sacremas Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Romance mod is only working on new NPCs like Bishop (actually a lot of NWN 2 characters), so there should be no crossover. Romance mod is not sexlab enabled as of now however so romance is all you'll get, you'll have to use another mod to get actual sex at the end.
kindashy Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 So far I done all apart from the companions and Dibella ones. There were a couple of problems, one in Riften where Sapphire wouldn't advance the quest which I used the advance/set quest command and another when you come back to Riften and the girls are supposed to be waiting for you.  Mjold come into her house with me to kill those people and then would not advance but that was solved with a reload.  As far as content some of it was funny and honestly some was quite cheesy but overall it was very good. I do prefer this method of interaction a bit more lore/story friendly. The solitude quest line was very long but thats not a complaint. I like also how words/lines from the game are reconstructed for the dialogue. Overall a very good mod and integrated very well.  I'm having a similar issue when coming back to Riften and they are not waiting together at the Bee and Barb. But my quest log reads: Confront Aerin about his nefarious plot, but I can't see to find him. The quest marker indicates he should be in Riften, but he is not in his house and the marker does not lead to any doors inside the town.  Any suggestions? If I need to advance the quest manually, could someone be so kind as to tell me how? I've never done it before and a bit of a newb with console commands...
Nephenee13 Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 I use LOOT too, but I always have to hand-tweak, in AmoAdv there's a LOT of quests that are way more fragile than just about any other quest mod and gets broken apart, you won't be able to progress far in the Solitude questline at all if you let LOOT auto-sort it. I tried to get Sharliran to edit a global exception for Amorous Adventures so it always ended up on the bottom but he wasn't willing to.  I can't see why this would actually make any difference. I just examined it thoroughly in TES5Edit, and other than a few placed items in cells and a couple minor Skyrim Worldspace additions, the mod overrides effectively no vanilla forms at all.  Almost all its work is done through scripting, and brand new quests, all of which are load-order agnostic.  If the quests are breaking, I can't see any way load-order could matter.  So far I done all apart from the companions and Dibella ones. Â
Sacremas Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Okay then I have a challenge for you, figure out why the Lydia/Jodis scene refuses to start if this mod is loaded after Amazing Follower Tweaks, which is the fact, and is just one of many examples.  So far I done all apart from the companions and Dibella ones. If he's not there type the following in console;  prid 00019df8 moveto player  Try to make sure Mjoll isn't in the house or witnessing you killing him, as that can bug the quest further.Â
Nephenee13 Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Okay then I have a challenge for you, figure out why the Lydia/Jodis scene refuses to start if this mod is loaded after Amazing Follower Tweaks, which is the fact, and is just one of many examples. Â I'm going to bet there is a conflict somehow, because Lydia is a follower, and those are notoriously sketchy in general. I don't have AFT installed ATM so it wasn't included in my comparison. However SLAA doesn't directly edit any vanilla NPCs, including Lydia. Â I'm not saying there aren't conflicts, but the "load it last!" refrain (everyone wants their mod loaded last!) isn't very useful. Â While its still limited compared to Oblivion, a Bashed Patch can solve a lot of problems, and if you are willing to be a tad daring, you can use a Mator Smashed Patch from TES5Edit and get very nearly universal compatibility.
Sacremas Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 I have both of those, neither actually include Amorous as their master, and guess what? Loading the mod last (well almost last, loading it before Live Another Life, Bashed patches and SUM patches) is both more effective and guaranteed to work every time and prevent you from ever running into such an error, and also what some guy called FoxFingers said you should always do anyway
Leito86 Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Thanks for this mod! Â It's making me roll with Lydia again. Â "Combat training" is pretty sweet.
LaEspada Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Okay then I have a challenge for you, figure out why the Lydia/Jodis scene refuses to start if this mod is loaded after Amazing Follower Tweaks, which is the fact, and is just one of many examples. Â Â I have amorous advenstures loaded after AFT and it works fine. Maybe script lag? Try toning down the scipt-heavy mods. You'd be surprised that it's the source of many problems & CTD's with quest/script mods like amorous adventures. Â I keep amorous adventures loaded last right before alternate start, perma patcher, dual sheath patch, and my lighting mods.
Sacremas Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 DUh, sorry, brainfart, I meant load it before! If you load AFT after Amorous then the Lydia/Jordis scene doesn't work, tested and confirmed, because AFT changes something about how followers interract with each other. Â Which is of course the whole reason why Amorous is so fragile, it's 100 % reliant on vanilla scenes and scripts like Mirmulnir dying properly. In that classic example if you have Dragon Combat Overhaul installed, that changes the script for how dragons including Mirmulnir dies, if you load DCO after Amorous then that scene will never fire. It's almost impossible to know on a heavily modded setup exactly what quests and conditions are being altered by your mods, so loading Amorous at the end simply sets all those things back to vanilla so Amorous can access them and fire the scene. Â Also incidentally, PerMa and Dual Sheath redux falls under those script heavy mods, you wouldn't think so with DSR but it's cloak script that assigns 5 or 6 magic effects to all NPCs you come into contact with takes up a significant amount of resources. Earlier tonight I sent a PM on the nexus to the owner of DSR asking for permission for Fishburger to insert a MCM option to turn that cloaking script off, if that's done that'll fix the whole mod. PerMa on the other hand is just utter shit in it's current incarnation, I had so much hope for that mod, I was a beta tester for it, but it's scripts (the xmasharedscripts) are absoluterly horrendous and will cause stack dumps and scenes like Amorous and Sexlab scenes in general to just utterly fail. On a very heavy mod setup with a lot of scripted mods don't expect your save to live much longer than 60-80 or so, since the stack dumps will leave traces in your saves that cause them to bloat and become unstable. PerMa is generally best played on as light a load as possible. The worst offender by far have however been Wet & Cold, the strain caused by that mod was absolutely insane, my game was nearly unplayable with that in, scenes just not working, monsters acting stupid in combat, my own combat mods like TK Combat just plain not working. I take out Wet & Cold (and Dual Sheath Redux, to be fair I thin W&C had the majority of that load) and all that miracolously end, Frostfall works better, TK Combat fires every time, NPCs react better in combat, etc.
iggypop1 Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Hi  Thank you for the wonderfull mod again...  @sacremas About DualSheath (sorry of topic) are you asking the author to remove the cloak spell from his mod all together, or just MCM for fishburger?  Why is there a cloak spell anyway whats the use?
shinji72 Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Back to the core of this gameplay (the Amorous Dialogue) with Episode 09. Hope you enjoy. Â

And I can't tell you what Fish is going to do because we sitll don't know if he's even able to, he's willing to try however as long as he gets the permission of the owner of the mod.

And about load order, I think it's safe to just load it lasted. I have a heavy modded game with more than 200 mods include ASIS, Perma, Sexlab , ... But never encounter any problems or CTD as long as you load these kind of mods last ( texture, face, quest,...) Â
FoxFingers Posted April 7, 2015 Author Posted April 7, 2015 Thanks for this mod!  It's making me roll with Lydia again.  "Combat training" is pretty sweet.  You are very welcome.  And thanks so much for the Leito86's Kissing Animation. That really helped with the next update for Dawnguard I'm working on. Love your stuff.  Thanks! Â
FoxFingers Posted April 7, 2015 Author Posted April 7, 2015 Back to the core of this gameplay (the Amorous Dialogue) with Episode 09. Hope you enjoy.   That was a funny one, thanks Shinji. Poor Farkas, he's not much of a poet, but he tries.  That's about the halfway point for the companions. It'll be three or four dungeon quests before anything else pops up from this Mod for you.  Thanks!
FoxFingers Posted April 8, 2015 Author Posted April 8, 2015 Just trying to get some images into my media folder. This is the only way I've found to do it, by attachments.  Â

Thanks for letting me know. So I can gauge each episode length. We don't want too much time passing without AA dialogue!
oxBrandxo Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Out of curiosity, are there any plans to add Dragonborn/Solesthiem content to this mod? I'm understandably hesitant to start the questline, on the off chance you decide to add it later on lol.

I think of the girl at the Skaal village... but there is also the mage at the Telvanni tower, who, I'm sure, you could turn into a great AA main char.
Sacremas Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 2000 hours of playtime and I've never been to Solstheim actually. My hope is that once FoxFingers plays through it he wants to add some stories to some of the girls, in particular the Bijin follower girl there (who by the way even vanilla Lydia if you bring her to Solstheim can make a comment on).

Frea from Dragonborn DLC! would love to see her included in this mod too
