I just watched Shinji's vid and it was very well done.  I hadn't really paid attention to this mod before but I was very impressed by his video.  The voice work and seamless integration into Skyrim looks well done.  I will have to try it out on my next playthrough!

 

You should do that, this is one of the best mods I have tried. And it is one must along some others.

Hi, i am really eager to try this mod,especially after Shinji72's youtube review.It impressed me very much because it seems to deliver what it promisses,a more profound vanilla npc role in the game!My problem is that i am well underway in the vanilla fuction quests (finished the companions,college of winterhold etc) so as to leave the civil war and main quest last.From the description in the op it seems that i have already missed several AA quests,so i need to start fresh.My question is if there is something like a loose time frame/schedul for this mod's developent/completion in terms of adding new quests.What's to be expected in the future that is.It would be really sad to sacrifice a fully working heavy modded save game to gain the best playability of this mod only to find out that there's a new update for a game part that i again have finished in vanilla playthough

I can certainly understand your concern.  It just takes soooo long to assemble the voice files for the vanilla NPC's to tell their tales in parallel with their Game quests.  It adds to doing their quests, but it's also a blocker.

 

I don't have a completion timeline, but probably in the future I'll try and create more content that can just be picked up any time.

I can understand the heavy work this kind of mod requires on your behalf,it's not like just making scripts or adding animations etc,it has to do with alot copy here/paste there vanilla voice assets and stuff,totally understandable on my part!What i would like to know,sudjest is if there was away to have a factor in the mod that recognized each involving npc's quest status as it is and then start the AA quest line from there.e.g let's say in case of Olfina Gray-Mane who has little to none vanilla deticated quest,there could be a factor that enables the player to start an AA quest either way (having spoken to her before or not).What i mean is to disengage the AA quest line for each npc from each npc's vanilla quest line time order.The quest line would be the same of course but with a few tweeks here and there so as to make sense fot the whole thing (2nd example:Let's take Irilerh,if you have the mod installed prior to first dragon killing then the mod goes as it is,if installed after ,then an appropriate dialogue from the pc's part should kick in like...do you remember when we slayed the dragon at the tower;...

I hope this clears my opinion :)

I found out about this Colossus of a mod  and installed  it last night. Even though my char was already a Thane in Whiterun and I had already talked to the Alakir prisoner, gladly both Lydia and Saadia had the options for the quests and HOLY SHhhh! I had read the voice types editing thing but did not expect THAT good of a job. There is nothing, not even a nitpicker can find odd or out of place. From the first 10 minutes in the mod I can already see the insane work that must have been put, not only in the ck and scripting but in the voice editing. I can tell that not only it must have taken hours to make up new dialogues from existing words but also to assemble them as a word puzzle edited down to the milliseconds to be natural. I can't even fathom how many times you must have listened to the same lines over and over trying to distinguish even the slightest pause between words. This is not jut a mod. This is the work of a professional in the highest standards. It's one of these very few mods, where you play it and say "this guy either works for Bethesda or should be working for them".

Yeah I agree the voice editing is amazing, really impressive. Me personally I am hoping the thieves guild NPC's are done in the near future. But I understand doing this takes a LOT of time, so no rush. Just putting in a "vote" for what I would like to see next. :)

Depends on where you are. Some of the missions might need a startQuest to kick them off but then run pretty smoothly after that.

I mighta broke the first quest :)

 

The quest in Riverwood. I ran ahead of Ralof and talked to Gerdur before Ralof arrived. I never got the quest involving Gerdur. Can I just go back to Riverwood and start it manually or would that break things worse? :)

 

I *CAN* just start a new game. I have a save immediately after exiting Helgen.

 

Using MO so it's easy to have a profile just for this.

Ralof had his conversation. Something didn't click to the next step. Not sure if it was this mod or the vanilla quest not clicking because I didn't get the key to Gerdur's house. Started over, followed Ralof like a puppy. Waited until conversation ended. Talked to Gerdur and everything worked as expected after that.

OK, I've gottten NOTHING DONE this morning and it's ALL YOUR FAULT!!!

Started playing with this at 7am and it's now about 11:30am. Kitchen still needs cleaning as does the living room and I have a carpet to clean. But.... none of that got done 'cause I was too busy bedding all these women! Riverwood, Whiterun, Riften, Solitude.... ok well lots yet to do in Solitude.

 

See... I'm trying to see how many of these I can do as level 1 without dragons or starting vampire spawns. 

 

The level 10 requirement for part of one of the quests has kept me out of that, but I am trudging onward! :)

This is so wonderfully done. I LOVE the use of the voice clips and only rarely do I hear any of the "stitching together" of clips. Very nicely done!

Looking forward to a completely unproductive afternoon.... thanks a bunch....

I really do like the idea of this mod. Sadly though it seems it might be geared towards people who play male characters haha. I noticed in the FAQ we have the option to tell Vikas and Farkas we're not into dudes.. for as me, being a female and play  only female characters. Is there a option for me to tell the ladies of the mod the same thing for the quest to complete?  :)

 

 

I like to second the request for an option to skip other quests, too. because I want to play only some of the quests.

 

 

 

Yeah... Not a good mod for a Straight Female player.  I do try and be even handed about it all in that it's not intended to be gender specific. 

 

if you're playing this mod then you're pretty much agreeing that you're ready to deal with the drama, problems and relationship issues of the ladies here.  There is no way to opt out of the female quests and I don't plan on adding anyway to do so.  If you wish to manually shut down a quest, you can at the Console.  The mod is what it is.

 

To be fair, the number of actual "required" sex scenes in the mod are limited because the mod places emphasis on the Journey and not the destination.  The Sex is really just a MacGuffin that gives a reason for fleshing out NPCs that were barely even given a wisp of a personality in the main game.

 

So, even if you are a female, you still might enjoy dramatic angle.

 

I wish I had the time to do Male Quests, but I don't.  Also, I'm not real good at them.  Males are boring love interests.  If you have a vagina, then a male is generally willing to work with you to meet your romantic goals.  See there?  I have the wrong viewpoint for male love interest quests.

 

 

If that's possible I'd also really like a more developped quest for gerdur (that's the first sexual encounter of the game after all^^), revolving around "sexual hospitality" practices like they existed for some old european/germanic peoples : )

 

 

I probably would never get to it.  I have a laundry list of requests in queue - Nazeem/Ahlam, Sigrid, the Mages College, and so on.

Please, can you tell: are you planning to add any quests, which will make Maven, Driva and Jarl Laila Dovakhin's lovers? And if not, can you, please, make such quest some time after your finish already planned work on this mod? :blush:

At this point I wouldn't go back and re-work all the quests that are done, that's for sure :P

 

But your point is well made.  It is hard for people to have to start from an early save just to run them in context of what's happening in the game at that time.

 

I will certainly try and make future quests more accessible.

Thanks for the kudos.  Every line of dialogue is a ridiculous amount of work.  Thanks for noticing :)

 

And it's something a player clicks through in seconds, and then it's gone.  But oh well, it just doesn't feel right when it's silent to me.  Takes a long time to release content though.

OMG!! Dammit!

 

I did it AGAIN.... it's 3pm and I haven't even emptied the dish washer yet!!

 

Started with Saadia and finished the bard piece in Solitude. Also killed the first dragon and dealt with Irileth. Restored the tree and Danica is now my friend. Still don't have Elisef.... she'll be a prize. My character is level 1 still so I'm locked out of Elisef until I do something else. 

 

dammit.... better get to work here. My wife will be home in an hour . :)

In 4 years of playing Skyrim this is the best mod I have played - including DLC's. I laughed so hard at Madran's reply to the mammoth tusk question!

It's not explicitly listed as a requirement anywhere in the mod description, and I noticed you separated the arousal mechanic involving dragons into its own mini-mod, but there are a lot of references to it peppered throughout. I'd love to use this mod, but I refuse to touch Aroused.

Use the Aroused Redux. You get the benefits of Aroused without the heart ache.

 

I totally understand what you're saying. I switched and the redux is fine.

Nope, Aroused is not required at all to use Amorous Adventures.

 

I removed the dependency.  It's only needed if you want to use the Arousal Triggers.  Optional.
