Sacremas Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 Anyone know when the required version of 0Sex (and thus Amorous OsoSexy Adventures) comes out? Like, "probably within this month" sort of.
FoxFingers Posted July 8, 2016 Author Posted July 8, 2016 The OSA version you can probably post on Nexus as well just fine, since OSex is there without significant objections. Anyone know when the required version of 0Sex (and thus Amorous OsoSexy Adventures) comes out? Like, "probably within this month" sort of. At this point I'm giving serious thought to doing away with a Clean Version and just having SexLab and OSex versions. It's just getting out of hand with the versions, for one. For two, well, I'm looking at the moving train wreck that is Beth.net with console users grabbing Nexus mods and uploading them (even stuff like CBBE) and I'd like to avoid having to deal with that. Anyways, I think OSex 1.08 will be out ... soonish? The version I'm using seems pretty stable and polished. Only CEO would know for sure. Thanks!
Sacremas Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 The Beth.net issue is not a Nexus exclusive thing. If there is a version of the mod available anywhere (including previously uploaded to nexus) it can potentially be put on Beth.net already, unless it requires an outside framework like FNIS, Sexlab, OSex or SKSE, in which case it won't work on consoles regardless without serious work. Mods on Lover's Lab that falls under this purview can still totally be uplaoded, the main thing stopping that is the adult nature. Amorous Adventures even clean version can absolutely NEVER be uploaded to Beth.net, it has way way way to much sexual stuff in it, it would be taken down and the user banned pretty much as soon as someone mentioned that an adult mod was on. Even CBBE by itself will get such a takedown + ban unless bundled and unless in a nevernude fashion, nude textures and generally sexualized content is asking to be banned over there, as they want to present as clean an image as humanly possible for games involving exploding heads and cannibalism. If you see such an adult or nude mod available on Beth.net without such a takedown, the reason for that is that unlike Nexus's dozen or so moderators, Beth.net which sees a lot more traffic due to the millions of console users has a single moderator so far, Matt Grandstaff, and I haven't heard of them hirign on anyone new. If such a mod is available it just means no one has reported it yet, but you can be sure that they will be a lot more vigilant to take down such content than they are with allegedly stolen content.
FoxFingers Posted July 8, 2016 Author Posted July 8, 2016 Oh, yeah. I get that. But what seems to be happening is people will take the Ban just to get it out there long enough to get it downloaded to some consoles. And then, re-buy skyrim / re-account on Steam,

Gee, I guess you have a point. The other thing is, I'm not so sure the "clean" version would actually be banned. It's pretty tame.
cleavagesweat Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 foxy - i apologize. i didn't mean to offend you. your mod is the best mod for the game. its professional quality. i used a poor choice of words and was only referencing that .01% of the dialogue where the PC says "girlfriend".

Oh, no worries. I'm not offended. I actually do get that all the time. Particularly on Nexus. For what it's worth, I imagine every line being spoken by Bruce Campbell in "Army of Darkness". Although it's also said to work very well if your Main Character is Deadpool. Thing is, I already know it doesn't work for everyone. It's all good. Thanks!

Dapper Dan Pomade Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Now I'm never not gonna hear Bruce Campbell's voice in my head when doing these quests. I already like this mod a lot, and you've just made it better by saying that.

Dapper Dan Pomade Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Bisque O' County Jr. is a stroke of genius.
Sacremas Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 You need to make that final, make a marry Elisif and become High King of Skyrim mission (prerequisites: Civil War is over, Alduin is dead) called "Hail to the King, baby!" then have final line before wedding night and end quest be "give me some sugar baby" then get Leito to animate the sweep-em-off-their-feet kiss. Except then he has to go home to where he really came from, he's to say the three magic words and sleep for a couple of hundred years. Part 2 requires Fallout 4, and only has the Dragonborn waking up going "I slept too long!" and then becoming insane.

Part 2 requires Fallout 4, and only has the Dragonborn waking up going "I slept too long!" and then becoming insane. Ugh. The theatrical versions ending of Army of Darkness is soo much better than the Directors Cut. Both good, but I liked the editors version more. Don't think I said that about any other movie, ever. Army of Darkness is in a class all it's own there as well. Oddly though, i do feel similarly about earlier pre-nexus version(s) of AA. Not only is FoxFingers mod in a class all it's own from stem to stern, but I liked the original parts more in general than what they became. Both good, great even, but I like one a bit more. No offense, I'm just can't be like parents who actually do like one child more than another, but will lie to everyone's face about it. Therefore FoxFingers is Bruce Campbell, cause logic.
Sacremas Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 The "director's cut" version where he ends up back at S-Mart was from a focus group viewing who did not like the "I slept too long" postapoc ending and wanted to see a happy ending. Raimi hoped he could maybe continue at some point and so agreed to the change, since it leaves it a bit more open. Funny enough the brilliant Starz "Ash vs Evil Dead" TV series that continues the show (with Campbell and his old pal Xena, Lucy Lawless) of course only follows Evil Dead 1 and 2, because they did not have the rights for Army of Darkness due to publishers. It works pretty well as a direct continuation (20-30 years later) of the S-Mart ending but they are only able to refer to the first two story wise, while the PostApoc ending would obviously not have worked unless there's a hidden Evil Dead 4 somewhere (not counting the non-Ash remake, which was made by someone who only liked the first movie, not the next two and their humor). The exact same thing happened to BOTH Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness; Evil Dead 2 did not get the rigths somehow to their own indie film Evil Dead 1, hence why the first part of the movie is a reshoot. In Army of Darkness they only had the rights to the Ash character and a few other things (Necronomicon and such are of course public domain) and so again had to do some reshoots, as well as start the movie different than they were planning to (where Evil Dead 2 ended).
Darkening Demise Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 When I finish SL animations for the sex scene with Anekke and her daughter I get Run Time Error r6025 every time. I did try to reinstall visual c++ through the Skyrim main folder but I'm still getting this. It never happened before though, the game played just fine. Only happening (so far) during this scene.

I think, back in the history of this thread, someone else had the same issue. They moved AA to the bottom of their load order and it cleared up. Dunno if that helps any.

I like to think, though, that by trying to give it a wider audience it's helped more people become familiar with LL in general. I'll try and make the next quest with you in mind, Moonspot. Thanks!

Another thing I've noticed that causes run time errors, is load orders changing midgame. Also. FoxFingers, I haven't been able to play through the new stuff yet with Serana, but I just finished Carlotta's questline and I must say it was pretty amazing story you've crafted here. It also gives you a great reason to go to those places with Dragon Priest masks that most people usually don't travel to in their games. I certainly don't. But, it was a great experience nevertheless. Gonna play through Serana's new content once I finish the Dawnguard questline in my new playthrough.
tweetbotter Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 It also gives you a great reason to go to those places with Dragon Priest masks that most people usually don't travel to in their games. I certainly don't. I have played more sub-quests in vanilla Skyrim in the last 5 months due to AA than I have in the last 5 years playing Skyrim. The only reason I want FoxFingers to incorporate Dragonborn is that it is the only way I would get around to playing Dragonborn.
MoonSpot Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Yeah, the mod has seen some changes over time, that's true. I like to think, though, that by trying to give it a wider audience it's helped more people become familiar with LL in general. Indeed its changed, and I do understand why. All I'm saying is that I personally did appreciate the odd darker tone you employed from time to time then. If for nothing else than to break up the feels a bit and explore different personality facets of the DragonBorn themselves and NPC encountered. meh, I'm probably not explaining it well. I'll try and make the next quest with you in mind, Moonspot. Not sure how to take that(suspects a picture has been added to a dart board). So long as it aligns with your interests and creative passions, cool. Do you get stats on LL like the nexus provides? After looking at the stats on the nexus I'd like to believe that AA is doing even more here, but a consistent 5.7k/mth is hard to fathom. The "director's cut" version where he ends up back at S-Mart That's not the director cut. The theatrical version (editors cut) Ash ends up back at S-Mart, and is my preferred one cause he's still kicken ass, saving damsels and dropping one-liners. That said there is no shortage of discourse on the subject. All I know for certain is the first Disc I bought said it's the directors cut, and I ended up buying another release since I evidently didn't "shop smart" the first time around.
pushto Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Afaik the runtime error is purely from SL, not from this mod. Try to finish Jiub's quest & disable scale match option.

Do you get stats on LL like the nexus provides? After looking at the stats on the nexus I'd like to believe that AA is doing even more here, but a consistent 5.7k/mth is hard to fathom. Between the Nexus, LL and the Mega mirror... my guess is 49,689 since 2.11 came out. That's like 16,500 a month which seems completely unfathommmabababale... and probably off... but that's the number I got. Thanks! FoxFingers, I haven't been able to play through the new stuff yet with Serana, but I just finished Carlotta's questline and I must say it was pretty amazing story you've crafted here. Oh, great, I'm glad you are trying out the new stuff. Thanks for the feedback. Hope you'll give me your thoughts on Serana when played as a complete story arc, when you get done. Also, Brelyna is out there, if you haven't tried that. Glad Carlotta went well, thanks!
Benmc20 Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 So far, Carlotta questline is great, didn't like as much Ysolda one.
Darkening Demise Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 So far, Carlotta questline is great, didn't like as much Ysolda one. 9/10 not enough Mammoth Tusk thoughts-IGN -------------------- So any other new adventures planned, especially for new characters or is it really time to retire it this time? If any suggestion was offered I'd say Delphine with the dragon questline, since you don't seem to do men (and there's already that other 'romance' mod aimed towards ladies), and there's not that much available towards main quests, it would be a good idea, even though many seem to hate her-but I still hate Nazeem more. Heck no doubt people requested Ulfric too. XD
