Amorous Adventures [v3.4] (2018/06/02)

Just a quick question: which specific follower/NPC appearance mods did Foxfingers use to take the pictures on the title post? I'm fairly certain it's Bijin Warmaidens (plus an ENB of course) but my searching on the various threads hasn't given me a definitive answer.

Sorry for the stupid question, especially if it's already been answered multiple times and I'm just blind. There's really not much more to say that hasn't been said, the mod is awesome and fully deserves the massive popularity it has received!

i am wondering what serana are you ok dialogue do ? i once clikked it accidentally and my pc and serana talked something about miraak and dialogue didnt showd up anymore after that .

how are you feeling dialogue also is makin me confusing umm does it has some function ?

sorry i am trying to figure out now this hot exotic serana lady ;)

This is a vanilla event, not related to this mod. Once you get the Cultists encounter (the two guys in robes and masks talking about Miraak and attacking you, with a letter on them telling you to go to solstheim) then if Serana is present she'll start the "that was uncomfortable, are you all right?" dialogue chain and mention wanting to go with you to Solstehim. If you encoutner the cultists before you ever run into Serana (very likely if you don't use mods to delay that event) then she'll talk about that to you the first time she rejoins you either in Fort Dawnguard or Vohikar Castle during the hunt for the Moth Priest, awkwardly making it seem as if that encounter just happened, hence your confusion, when she's talking about something that probably happened before you even met her...

Yep, I saw that and it's a great resource, but I was curious as to the specific ones used on the title post's screenshots. Was specifically looking for Foxfingers to have said something along the lines of  "I used "x" and "y" mods for the screenshots."

Regardless, in the end, it doesn't really matter--I should just use whatever I like best lel. I appreciate the assist though!

You don't have to ask a guard, though it is odd there are no guards there. You could either fast travel away and back, and see if they spawn in, or just head down the road past the cart, dead horse and murdered merchants, and there should be another ambush location with a dead imperial guard, vampire (loot a note)

thanks karl i head the road then :) and yeah i also finded it kinda strange that there werent any guards maybe vampires killed them or dragon XD .

Could we ask for alternative to Mjoll quest? Don't wanna kill Aerin the cuckold. Good that I have Paradise Halls installed so I enslaved him instead. Enslaving people targeted for kill on quest counts as kill because the quest progressed and got journal entry that Aerin got killed.

It's all Bijin, either Bijin  NPCs, Warmaidens, Wives, Toccata or Serana.

Is there any way to do the fangs of desire quest without becoming a vampire?

You're only infected, not turned, so you can either use a Cure Disease potion/spell or head over to the temple before 3 days are up.

Unless you actually want to become a vampire, or are running one seriously hardcore overhaul, it's actually really, really hard to become a vampire in Elder Scrolls. Since Morrowind if I wanted to become one it was actually a lot more work to seek out vampirism than to become one accidentally. Because it's so easy to cure it (touch a shrine, eat some types of food, or use a cure disease for something else) if you decide to play out the duraiton of the turning you will quite often end up curing yourself accidentally. I figure either Requiem and/or Realistic Needs and Diseases might change that however, especially mods that change curing vampirism to actually require a cure vampirism potion rather than general cure disease effect, I know some overhauls like Morrowloot goes that way.

I don't know if it is base game or a mod, but I've been able to talk to some of the Vigilants and ask for a cure disease spell too.  Is kinda odd how the random encounter with the vampire infected woman make it sound like a terrible thing, but all she has to do is run for the nearest hold capital or random shrine out in the wilderness.

The DLC will auto-reinstall once you start the Steam launcher up again.

I thought theyd changed that when Dawnguard got released but b4 that the Vigilants were pretty common and they all had conversation dialogue. Idk if it's still like that but I do see them chasing vampires and such in the wilderness sometimes.

So... what's going on with Amorous Adventures development these days?  Here's an update.

Basically, I stopped working on it for awhile.  It just became somewhat overwhelming.

So, when I left off I was re-doing the lovers options.  And I finished Lydia.

Now, it is pretty nice, I think.  Lydia has 32 unique lines of dialogue (just for her lovers options, right) where she will pick different things to say ... so it always sounds kind of fresh when you talk to her about making out.  Plus, two states - horny and not-horny, which are like Serana's two states, hungry and not-hungry.  And depending upon Lydia's state different things will be said - randomly - as well.  And, furthermore, the lines of dialogue were all tailored to her specifically.  That is, it's not generic - it sounds like her character and personality.

OK, so, pretty cool I guess.  Just for her lovers options.

So I started on the other lovers with the Female Even-Toned voice type: Carlotta, Annekke, Lisette, Illia.  And I said to myself - Am I really doing this?  Because there's 30 something lovers in total and, dear god that's a lot of work to make them all so unique.

Of all the things I do in this Mod, the Lovers Options are my least favorite thing to work on.  I prefer to be working on a quest where a story is being told.

Anyways, so I kind of threw my hands up at the amount of work involved with it and stopped.

In the meantime, I heard 0Sex now has a means by which I could attempt to use it in this Mod.  And I've always said I would do an 0Sex version.  I started thinking about it and that would be three versions I would have to maintain: 0Sex, Clean and SexLab - three different versions of the already complicated Amorous Adventures Mod.

AND THEN... I hear there's going to be Skyrim Special Edition.  Yeah, with a new Creation Kit.

OK, so now people are going to want SE and Non-SE versions of the Mod on top of there being Clean and Adult version.

And I threw my hands up again and said too much work!

So, that's pretty much where I am with it right now.  Yeah.

Yeah, definitely sounds like putting a lot on your plate, even for a labor of love. I'd say, if you planned on continuing working on it, to focus on what you enjoy, and try not to put too much pressure on yourself. The Lydia stuff definitely sounds cool, especially since I've got her attached to my character's hip pretty much at all times, but if you're pulling your hair out redoing lovers stuff, focus on your storytelling instead. Or feel free to take a break, because everyone already appreciates what you've already given us.

So as someone who has been using this mod since the near beginning, I just want to again say thank you, and remind you that everyone appreciates your amazing work. I've said it before and I'll say it again, take a break if you ever want to, you've already done beyond enough, no one expected this much.

When I went on Steam again this morning the DLC's weren't there so I'm stumped and I really like this mod and now I can't play it without buying the DLC's again

Fox take all the time your need.  You have gone above and beyond the call of duty with this mod.  While us mod users can be a demanding lot, it is only because we enjoy it so much.  You are the author and should work on the parts YOU enjoy expanding, when you feel it requires it.  Thanks again for an awesome mod, one that will be an essential part of my play throughs.

Well, I've been on that road before, perhaps not as a modder, but in work in general... in a creative field too, in fact. I'm not sure what your plans are, but I'd say if you still want to finish what you intended to do, then perhaps try to see what you can prioritize over other things.

For example, does it all have to be for all 30 lovers? That is indeed a lot, and instead you might want to just focus on a select number based on who are the most major characters. It probably makes sense to have NPCs like Serana, Lydia, Aela and so on to have more custom dialogue than Taarie or Carlotta, simply because they have bigger quests and they get to join as followers.

Then take a break, put aside the rest and move on other parts in your plan. Or like others have said, just take a break entirely. You deserve it. ;)
