Not related to faction rank or the like, as I don't think there is a faction rank at all in Skyrim, you're just in a faction or not and faction leader is a separate faction. A lot of followers are in the faction of the town guards of the local town, Lydia and the Companions are in Whiterun Guards faction, Illia and Mjoll are in Riften Town Guards faction, etc. This is mostly to keep the companion from starting fights with town guards unless you're the one attacking them. Just don't bring the companion if you intend to do nefarious stuff like thieving and murder.

Hi I've had this mod for a while and have tried almost everything to get the Lydia/sexlabamorousadventuresteel quest to work, but absolutely nothing will help. I'm using the latest version of Amorous and Bijin wives. My problem is that when I talk to Lydia the dialouge does not start she only says "Pleased to meet you" and the dialogue ends nothing else is said and no quest begins. I tried the Manuel quest start by typing "setstage sexlabamorousadventuresteel 10" as instructed by a walk through document, but nothing starts even though no error message is shown.

 

I tested other quests to see if they worked the Ysolda quest did not start either, but the Elisif, Irileth and Carlotta quests did. I have no idea what's going on, and would appreciate any help I can get.

 

I will provide more information if necessary.

Sorry to hear you are having a problem with Lydia's quest.

- Is Annekke alive in the game?

- Is Adrianne alive in the game?

- Is Amorous Adventures at the bottom of your load order?

- Are you using a Mod that replaces the real actual vanilla Lydia?  Some do.  You'll know if the Lydia in your game has a different Ref ID.

Try to go to an interior you won't be thrown out of and that you can wait in, then wait for 3 days (72 hours+). That tends to fix it. No I do not know why it fixes it since the cell reset isn't that short and you'd have to wait for 30 days if you wanted a cell reset, but these crashes when getting to an area thing tends to be fixed by just waiting for 3 days.

 

If it doesn't work you have a borken mesh in the area, or your save game is corrupted around there, and that's going to be very complicated to fix, at a minimum you are looking at starting a new game.

You have a bad mod or SKSE plugin that's corrupting your interface, if you were missing a master you wouldn't even get that far, a crash right before the "Continue, New Game, Load, Options, Credits" menu should appear means a broken interface of some kind. Start removing mods until you can start up your game, one by one, whichever you took out last before your game started up is the badguy, go look at that mod's pages if you didn't make it yourself and see if others are having the same problem. Note that mods include your SKSE plugins in this case, and may include dll files.

Make sure before you start doing that that you have required files, specifically SkyUI and SKSE and that they are installed properly, try reinstalling them and trying over.

The problem is when I'm about to get there I have problems I just left whiterun and headed to dark water crossing and at first I just thought one of my other mods was interfering so I got rid of it but when I cross a bridge or get anywhere close to it crashes same if a tried to fast travel there. I don't know why it does that, I've researched all my mods to make sure there was buildings there and there wasn't so I don't know if I should uninstall and reinstall the mod. But the only reason I got the mod is I wanted the game to be more realistic like how you would have to more than 1 or 2 task to get married so I basically wanted a romance mod for males. Thanks for the help and if you can let me know If you find the problem and if I solve the problem I'll post for others with the same problem.

i had that problem a week ago about lydia not working and seems to be stuck at saying please to meet you. I solved it by putting amorousadventures at the bottom of my load order both left and right (just before my bashed patch and dual sheath their the lowest on in my load order) and start a new game again hope that helps well at least for me.

Ah, that's probably it. I downloaded it a long time ago, but I didn't really start to use this mod before recently, since I had issues with Skyrim (+ Fallout 4 came out)

Your problem is not with this mod so re-installing it will not help. There is something in one of the DarkwaterCrossingExterior cells that causes your game to crash. This could be terrain, an NPC, a nearby random encounter NPC, or something else the game just cannot load.

 

If waiting in an internal cell as Sacremas suggested does not work you could try using the console to teleport yourself to Annekke's house "coc DarkwaterCrossingVernersHouse" and wait until she comes in and talk to her. You will need to coc back to Whiterun (either coc WhiterunOrigin or you can use WhiterunWarmaidens).  Depending on the time of day, you might be trespassing when you teleport to a cell, so be aware of that.

 

You could console "help Darkwatercrossingexterior" and see the codes for each cell, and try to COC to each one, if you wanted to see which one crashes your game. Depending on your settings, this may not work, as the game will load adjacent cells depending on your memory and cell loading settings.

 

There are other guides around for using the various tools to look for mod conflicts and dirty edits, so I won't go into that.

Can you talk to Ysolda as normal, or does she exit dialog immediately like Lydia? Have you moved the AA mod to the bottom of your load order? Bijin would not modify anyone's dialog trees, but you might have another mod that does.

I may have asked this before, but are there any plans to add a Fastred quest, I was thinking it would be a simple alternative to the existing Mara quest, where you can choose her for yourself, instead of the old guy or the prick.

is there a way to get rid of that spiritual glow off of Serana after her Dibella quest? It still hasn't gone away for me and it gives her a lot of seaming around the eyes and neck. It's kind of irritating.

Remastered version for X-BOne and PS4 is confimed, and those are x64 bit systems, so yes as long as Remastered isn't for console only, expect it to change.

 

Specifically this comes out of the Fallout 4 developement, as what they did first was port Skyrim to x64, then built Fallout 4 off that according to an interview with Todd Howard. At the time he said not to expect a Skyrim remastered any time soon, but there was so much demand for it for the new consoles so they probably decided why not, since it's probably not that much work compared to a new game.

 

ALSO expect them to take the opportunity to change the EULA to the same as used for Fallout 4 (which basically state that they own all mods if it includes any part at all of the original game, then they own the whole mod and can do whatever they want with it), and that Beth.net may be used for Skyrim mods now as well... which means people may start stealing mods and uploading them to Beth.net (at which point Beth REALLY own it, even if it's a mod that has 0 % of the base game in it, if it's uploaded to Beth.net they own it). Of course never expect that to happen to any LL mod due to obvious policies regarding adult content, even something as relatively tame as the Nexus version of AA.

 

A Reddit user apparently discovered in the Steam files a hidden unreleased Skyrim DLC. It's a very good chance that this is a Remastered upgrade. At least I hope it is and that they won't try to sell the whole game over again. Fuck that's probably what they'll do...
