xboronx Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Did anybody successfully get Gerdurs quest using alternate start life another life? I used the default skyrim start this time with ASLAL and followed Ralof. Everything seemed to work expect i got no special amorous adventures dialogue. Checked Camilla afterwards, she has the special dialogue as it should be.

Yup worked for me with alternate start, just make sure you help Ralof in the cave and bring him to Gerdur and let them have their conversation thoroughly.
Crate123 Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 I must say Im pretty impressed by the immersiveness of these quests and the excellent work in the sound studio, it adds so much to have them actually speak their lines out aloud. I look forward to seeing more NPC's added, I would love to see Ahlam in this mod possibly with a very spiteful quest Well done!

Ok, will try an older save then, Hod was somehow stuck, so maybe the vanilla dialogue was messed up

Ok, will try an older save then, Hod was somehow stuck, so maybe the vanilla dialogue was messed up Yeah, Hod plays a part in this, so the conversation with all three needs to happen. I'd give it another run, and if you have to, console select Hod and use moveto player to get him in the right place if he gets stuck again so he can participate in the initial conversation when you and Ralof arrive at Riverwood. A lot of times in the case of actors not being in place for conversations, you can also wait an hour and everyone will pop up where they should be and the conversation will resume normally. The game actually pauses ongoing NPC conversations when you wait and resumes them when the hour has passed with everyone in place.
xboronx Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Ok, found an old enough save and tried again, it worked now. Probably my fault the first time was that i talked to Gerdur first and shortly after Ralof appeared, so Hod seems to have been innocent Thanks for the advice LaEspada and Rage0976.
RDKateran Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Annoyingly enough my only main quest completed save for testing mods had the player leave with Hadvar, rather than Ralof, so that was the one Lover quest I was unable to try out.
rage0976 Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Ok, found an old enough save and tried again, it worked now. Probably my fault the first time was that i talked to Gerdur first and shortly after Ralof appeared, so Hod seems to have been innocent Thanks for the advice LaEspada and Rage0976. Not a problem. Glad you got it worked out. Now I just can't wait to see what new additions are added in the next update. Annoyingly enough my only main quest completed save for testing mods had the player leave with Hadvar, rather than Ralof, so that was the one Lover quest I was unable to try out. Heh, see, this is where my being a hardcore role-player comes in handy. While I always side with the Empire in the end, I initially tend to side with the Stormcloaks, so I follow Ralof out, because I'm generally a little ticked off at the Empire in the start for trying to make me a head shorter than I am. However, as the game progresses and I learn what a power hungry fraud Ulfric is through various sources, I switch sides, seeing the Stormcloaks for what they really are. If you observe them through the game, the Stormcloaks are needlessly violent. They never try to find a solution that doesn't end in bloodshed, where the Empire does. This is even shown in the Unbound quest, where Ralof simply says hide and ambush when the Imperials come through, Hadvar actually tries talking sense into the Stormcloaks if you follow him, which of course only results in them attacking on sight. And let's face it. The Stormcloaks are all intolerant racists, which you also learn through observation over time, and that is something I just can't get behind. Anyway, you learn through various sources in game that Ulfric is a fraud, and was actually a Thalmor asset at one time. That he went to Solitude giving the impression he was there to try and convince Toryg to rally against the Empire and Thalmor, but instead laid out a challenge that he knew he knew Toryg couldn't refuse and couldn't win because he simply wanted to be High King. It's even stated that Toryg would likely have followed Ulfric because he admired him so much, but was never even given the chance. Of course I don't know all of this at the start. I just know the Empire tried to give me a haircut and take a little too much off the top, so I'm a little irritated with them initially. As I progress through the story and start to learn the truth, I get angry at the Stormcloaks for the whole noble charade when they're just pulling the wool over everyone's eyes, and I switch sides when given the chance. Like I said, I get into my role-play and perhaps put a bit too much thought into my playthroughs. lol
RDKateran Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 I'm all for roleplays, yeah, I just haven't beaten the game legitimately yet, so I use others' modless saves to test mod combinations until I find one that works. And unfortunately for AA, all of them seem to have sided with the Imperials in Helgen.

Maybe Fox would be willing to make an alternate version of that quest where instead you get to bang Hadvar and/or Alvor's wife.

I never sided with the empire until I started using the alternative start mods as I'm never going to join the side that almost beheads me. With Ulfric those documents are rather suspious but by the same token we don't trust the thalmor when they speak to our face so why would we trust "hidden" documents produced by them, perhaps they knew they would be infiltrated at some point For me Ulfrics why we fight speechs are one of the best parts of the vanilla game

Both have their issues, both have their benefits. Personally, I never do the civil war questline because it's idiotic and too time consuming
Adventurion Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Amazing Mod ! Ive been waiting for something like this ! Adds the much needed immersion to NPCs of skyrim...whats special is that you have managed to voice the Npc dialogues in their vanilla voices ! Awesome Work ! I hope you keep on extending the NPC list !
Pyrus Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 I had a bit of an issue with Ysolda's quest on the latest version. I had only talked to her and gotten the mammoth tusk quest when a Radiant Prostitution quest sent me to Sleeping Tree Cave. One of the giants I fucked senseless had a mammoth tusk on him and then I found the goods for the Khajiit and the quest skipped to returning them to him before I gave the tusk to Ysolda or talked to Mikeal or the Khajit. The quest completed okay after talking to the Khajiit and Ysolda but wasn't very immersive. Otherwise awesome job except for a few lines that sound awkward hacked together but not much you can do about that. Although if there's an available cough or similar short um or ah for the character voice they might make those less noticeable if inserted, or they might end up sounding worse.

I'll have to look into that issue in the Ysolda quest. Yeah, I do what what I can with the lines using what Bethesda gave me to work with. Sometimes it comes out better than others. *shrug* Thanks!
corvinus18 Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 I have a idea of elisif jarl quest... In the game she looks like a inexperience jarl, a kind woman with her people and puppet for the empire... but somethings make me think she isnt a puppet.... she is the master of puppets. When you side with ulfrik why he would make her remain at the trhone and stay like a jarl i know she will be easy manipulated.... but you supposse she hate ulfrik with al of her heart after all he killed his husband, i wouldnt accept anything for the man who destroy my city and killed my couple (that makes me think she likes the power) why ulfrik just dont put a men with all of his trust in charge of solitude..... i think there is a plot betwen her and ulfrik after all its strange if you think about the murder of toryg.... i know a man opened the door but how ulfrick can escape trougth all the city.... there is soldiers in all the city and comiting a crime like that would be a hard task, if you dont have help.... When you think about her assencion to the jarl ocupation its strange... think about it she is just a woman who became jarl after the murder of his husband .... the higth king... this give the rigth to her to become the higth king (that makes ulfrik and her become enemys).... yeah yeah the imperiym will help her to command skyrim but ... for how long... Any way i think elisif is like a queen in S&M she like the power and command she is like a sneak trying to get the power and she will do it using the empire strong arm to get it. the idea is she making the plot... and wanting to slave the dragonborn for her personal use... but in the end you will be the one who slave her and make her your slave... or not... or you becoming the pet for... dont know some ideas.
xxsleepyxx Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Im having a problem with Annekke Crag-jumper. She will not follow me. She just sandboxes in her house. When i first talked to her i talked to her about killing the bandit for her, then i talked to her about whats related in this mod and the lover quest started. I went and killed the bandit for her and no matter what order i do things in, she wont follow. Anyone else having this problem? EDIt: ok this is a bug with this mod if you talk to her about the bandit quest before the topic in this mod. I loaded an old save before i talked to her, then talked to her with the dialog from this mod first then about killing the bandits. I setstage favor104 15 because i didnt want to go thru killing the bandits again because it was hell. i told her about killing the bandits then i asked her to follow me, now she follows. Too bad i spent hours fighting those bandits from level 3 to level 8

Too bad i spent hours fighting those bandits from level 3 to level 8 I've actually noticed the same behavior with both Annekke and her Husband Verner in the past. They can get stuck just sand boxing in their house. The mod doesn't do anything at all either of their routines. They just seem to do it on their own. Annekke has a couple other documented game bugs like going hostile for no reason and never giving her radiant quest.
corvinus18 Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I have a another ide for olfina grey mane... you know you can find a letter of love in the inventory jon battle born.... you can black mail... its a little quest like adrianne.

I rushed off to try her quest when you first released and i didn't have her bandit killing quest which at first i thought was a bug but it seems skyrim will only let you have one go kill bandit leader quest at a time (i had the one from the axeman in solitude) So after clearing my existing kill bandit leader quest her one showed up when i went and spoke to her next

Wich one do the blackmail? i know there is a idea in the forums but thats all... i know mods of protitution, being a slave, rape, sex with animals, ... (personally i hate this ones i dont like the womas being fucket by animals but who cares). Im not asking for a sexlab system that allows you to blackmail all the npc and get sex with them... im suggesting idea. Nothing more the author is free to take it or discard it, if you see the history of olfina and jon battleborn you will see they have a history like romeo and juliet, so why not take advantage of this and blackmail olfina in a inmersiveand realistic way.... anyway the thing about this mod that i like a lot its that allow you to go with all of the role you want for example, get ysolda for me she is a sicksexual character that a not "moral" dragonborn want... same goes for saadia same goes for adrianne you steal a wife because of the plot. For a evil kind of character this would be realistic and inmersive.... I say again this is just a idea dont be so serius about it, nothing more, if the author says he will not do it is not a problem, if the rules about his mod are not blackmail, rape, and all that sort of thing... its ok. Because he is free to take the idea or discard it. Personally i love this mod because is not all just being a romance with all npcs... you see for example sex with irileth is 1 time sex, not a romance history with her, and i liked a lot the ysolda quest because her (sicksexualpersonallity).... and this ins romantique because some of npc in the end end like sexual slaves (saadia). I love this mod because of this... the realistic and imersive historyes that are behind all npcs tha in vanilla skyrim are just too simple.
