Hi together,

 

I get an Apropos Warning at the End of sex regarding wear and tear:

 

[12/12/2014 - 12:08:35PM] WARNING: AproposDescriptionDb.GetWearTearDamage() - human unrecognized. Using a value of 10.0 for damage

 

This warning appears both for PC and NPC sex (used matchmaker to start sex between Gerdur and Faendal for example).

 

Does anybody know what could cause this warning?

 

Did you tweak WearAndTear_Damage.txt at all?

 

 

Nope,

I uninstalled Apropos_Beta_2014_10_17_01, installed Apropos_Beta_2014_10_21_01, updated the db to Apropos Custom 091214 (Thanks for this Decauk :) and yes I deleted the old db in the Apropos folder before installing the new one), ran FNIS and started a new game.

Apropos and it´s wear and tear works fine exept of this warning.

 

Attaching Papyrus and Apropos log in case it´s helpfull.

 

 

Edit: I also used the refresh option in MCM (several times)

 

Edit: I was able to fix it by deinstalling Apropos, using savecleaner and reinstalling Apropos and db. Everything works as supposed now :D

I haven't done anything to the wear$tear damage text files and I see that message about unrecognized human as well.

Using 10-21-01 version. Stripped the DB and added Decauk's custom db. 

 

I think I didn't really pay much attention to it as the couple of profiles I've been using I have W&T effects toggled off. AND... I think I'm not tracking NPCs. This is mainly because I've been testing other things. I noticed this when screwing around with Faendal (pun intended) in Riverwood and kinda brushed it off as the message was irrelevant to what I was testing and everything else appeared to be working.

 

Should I be concerned?

Which version of Apropos are you using?

Also, in the database (db), are the tags {PRIMARY} or {PRIMARY_NAME}?

 

I am using the latest version, and as far as the database, the tags are listed as {PRIMARY_NAME}.

That is the reason. If you see {PRIMARY_NAME} it is an old database. When you installed the latest version, it should have overwritten the old versions of the database .txt files. It appears you either customized your database (either your own edits, or someone elses on LL), or the latest wasn't installed correctly?

 

I gotz same prob but everything says PRIMARY.   :(

Question. I was testing mods in skyrim and ran across a possible bug. After reaching a certain W&T level on hardcore the character could not longer use run only walk. It wasn't until some time had passes that run worked again(I waited a hour and it worked again)

 

Is that by design or a bug?

Hi Nutluck,

 

I always play this with W&T hardcore enabled and both walk&run works fine.

 

But with hardcore setting you can get up to -65% movement speed (level 9 for vaginal and anal W&T) so running is about as fast as a slow walk and walking slows down to nearly standstill.

Also noticed walking on higher W&T levels only starts with a delay if in 3rd person view, shifting to 1st person view starts it immediatly (but very slow).

 

Maybe You experienced this.

Yeah I knew sprinting was slow. When I sprinted it looked like the PC was almost running in place. But outside of sprinting the PC just would walk. No running, click run and it stayed at walking speed.

Yep. By design.

 

Ok was just checking, I was expecting running to look like the sprinting. Not be disable so was checking.

Apropos and Slavetats are both functioning perfectly, but not the patch to add slavetats textures on the fly, automatically. I installed the pack, and it shows up on the SlaveTats list, but it does not get applied, no matter what I do. Apropos says it has detected SlaveTats and I checked all of the boxes regarding it. Even after manually setting all abuse levels to 9, it still does not work. I checked the tatoos themselves and manually adding them with SlaveTats' MCM menu works normally.

 

Any idea what could be wrong? Should I post my load order?

Can you clarify what you mean by "patch to add slavetats textures on the fly" and "the pack" ??

The SlaveTats patch. I don't know I can be more clear. The one that lets Apropos add SlaveTats tatoos when the character reaches a certain level of abuse. And by the pack, I mean the tatoo pack.

Ok, still not clear. Do you mean version 1.05 or higher of Slavetats? And what pack are you talking about? The one on the Apropos downloads page?

Ok, I think we're misundertanding eachother.

 

The 'pack' I'm talking about, which is located at Apropos' download section:

 

Apropos_Abuse_Slavetats_Textures_Optimized.7z

 

I installed that, and while the tatoos contained in this pack do get added to SlaveTats in its MCM menu (which means I can apply these tatoos manually), Apropos isn't tatooing my character automatically with these when my character's 'abuse' status goes up, like it supposed to.

Ok, I see. Since its relatively trivial for anyone to take the script sources from any mod, change them, and re-post it to a support thread as a "patch" I wasn't sure if you were referring to the 1.05 version of Slavetats or something else. Also, there are a plethora of slavetats packs out there, so yes, I was asking specifically about the one on the Apropos downloads page.

 

If you try to bump the abuse levels up in MCM, the textures will not get automatically applied. They only get applied when sex actually occurs. If you bump them artificially to 9 in MCM, the next time abuse really occurs, then you should see level 9 show up on the actor.

 

Normally you won't be able to discern the textures naturally appear until level 5. Really around level 7 they become noticeable.

Recovery time set to 48 hours. Effects not very harsh for the first stages.

No days lasting effects in any mod though gang rape would leave quite a mark.

We probably are philosophically on different sides here. Numerically/mathematically, 5-7 humanoids should only raise it level 4. Each humanoid incurs a 'value' of 20.0 for each each, multiplied by 1.1 if that act is rape or aggressive. So, 5 * 22 = 110. The range for something to fall in level 4 it has to be >= 86 and less than 129.

 

If you want more extreme punishment you can edit for yourself the WearAndTear_Damage.txt file and tweak the numbers and just remember to click Refresh in Apropos MCM panel.

U need no crystal ball.  U got a big axe and that auto comes with clankin steel ballz.   Sent U mail w/copy of Ap log and attached Papyrus log cuz it goes on and on 4eva.  TYTY!

What are the thresholds for damage anyway?

 

Can you be more specific? Are you looking for how a range of values maps to the levels?

Question about this in the changelog from awhile ago

 

- Subscribe in AproposAnimationPatchups.psc to SexLabReset event. If SexLab is reset, we will re-run the animation patchups.

 

Which reset is that checking? the reset animation registry one you need to use if you are using mods that add in animation or the actual sexlab rebuild key that reloads everything?
