Is there a limit on how many unique animations you have? I just figured out how to add uniques for my Male PC (female was easy to see). There are a few animations in the Non-SexLab Animation Pack that could use unique descriptions, but before I get carried away I wondered if there were implications to adding like 4 or 5 uniques for Male and adding 4 or 5 more to the existing Female uniques.

 

The non-SL pack has, for instance, a breast feeding animation for MF and one for FF. It also has an animation that starts with a 69 position and progresses to a reverse cowgirl. Stuff like that.

I installed the textures zip, the mod and the  JContainers, I also marked on the Sky UI to the textures show up, but nothing... the character are on the level 6 of W&T and the textures didn't showed up. What did I forget? Do I need to start a new game for them to show up?

 

Do you have Slavetats installed? Version 1.05?

 

If yes on both of those, enable Papyrus logging and post a papyrus log.

 

 

I think that I was looking at the wrong place to see the W&T level. The textures only appear when one of the W&T levels at the bottom of the menu is greater than 5/6?

Yes, usually at 5 - but at that level they are fairly minor. If in doubt, you can always examine your character in Slavetats to see what is currently applied.

Thanks Gooser... ok I enabled the papyrus logs and re-initialized the Apropos...

It did the same events... loading screen with mist, seems like the usual time for loading.... and poof!

Checked the log folder and no file is present, I guess the game poofs! before it can write out anything in a log file.

any other suggestions?

Ran it again without Apropos and it chugged out a log and poofed me to desktop.

checked it over and seen a ton of errors on more nasty critters scrips and one sofia companion addon...

 

So I'll chuck out a few of those extra mods, another thing I noticed is, if I run the ini with Papyrus logging enabled it crashes me to desktop until I disable it. (even after getting rid of the extra scripts... going to use savetool and see if I can figure this out before posting again...

any other insight you might have will help.

I use both of those mods you are getting errors with and I am not getting errors with either of them. Also Papyrus logging shouldn't cause you to crash, unless there is something seriously wrong going on.

I've not heard of anyone running XP but I see that it is a supported OS. I'm surprised it is. I assumed everyone was using either Vista or Win 7....

OK, I'm having a bit of a hard time getting a FF unique to work.

 

I added zjFFBreastfeeding to the uniqueanimations text file. 

 

I created a folder called FemaleActor_zjFFBreastfeeding in the root of the database (because I saw other uniques for FemaleActor there) 

Inside that folder I put the description text files.

 

When I load the game and refresh the database, I can scroll back in the output and see that zjFFBreastfeeding has been added as a unique animation.

HOWEVER.... when the animation PLAYS, it doesn't use the descriptions. AND there is no message in the output about it being a unique animation.

 

Using the same method above I WAS able to add a unique for zjMFBreastfeeding. I made a MaleActor_zjMFBreastfeeding folder and put the description files in it and added it to unique animations. 

 

Is there something I'm supposed to be doing DIFFERENTLY to add a FF unique? I'm not getting any error messages about such-and-such not being parsed or anything like that. It just doesn't seem to work.

FF unique animations currently do not work, as that animation type is not yet supported. The same is true of Foreplay & Group animations.

 

There is no limit to the number of unique animations that can be supported.

 

And please remember to post your databases, particularly if you're writing MaleActor stuff!

Although .... damn I wish FF uniques were supported. 

 

Anyways, right now I only have the MaleActor_zjMFBreastfeeding files done and even those only have 2 lines for each stage. 

I'll see if I can make any progress on getting whatever male uniques might be useful for the non-SexLab animation pack. 

 

The animations are really good and I'll probably be deselecting some standard sexlab animations and using these instead. 

 

Meanwhile.... supposed to hit 65 degrees outside today. Might be the last time we see that until next year! :) So.... yardwork, preparing snow blower and generator, and then... hopefully... meat on the grill! (not MINE.... that would be a unique requiring special descriptions!.... )

I can check and see if there's a framework I can set up on my remote host. Let me have a look and see if there's a collaboration type framework I can install easily.

what adult content? maybe it's just some server's machine responses in JSON you guys just recorded  :D

My point was just to suggest a move from offline to online content editing (in any of possible ways) - you know, it's much simpler to edit some file via browser and then send pull request to central repository where it can be revived automatically merged just with one click

OK, well I've worked on the following for MaleActor:

zjMFBreastfeeding

fdCowgirl (I think this is a 4udik anim)

fdRCowgirl (4D Reverse Cowgirl)

zjCowgirl (3j's Cowgirl)

fdDoggyStyle (4D Doggy Style)

zjDoggy (3j's Doggy Style)

 

To start these off I'm mostly concentrating on just getting 2 lines into each grammatical person

And a file for each stage.

 

So... very basic at this stage. I have to watch each animation, sometimes several times (poor me) and jot down notes about positions and stuff. Decauk doesn't say much about the process, but for anyone who hasn't done any of this, it's a lot of work and takes a tremendous amount of time. 

 

So... once again, thank you, Decauk, for all of the work that you've done on this. You keep us inspired! :)

 

Once I'm satisfied that I have the staging right, I'll post the results here. Even in BASIC form, it at least gets these into the display and some of them are very creative.

I really like the new tatoo system but i like my character more.

 

Is racemnu a mandatory requirement?

If yes, is there any way to make it work with ECE and pretty faces?

And moreover to import to ece my character :(

 

I tried to install every requirement but in the end my char was totally messed up >.<

Forget about Apropos for a moment. If you can get tats to appear on your character by using Slavetats then Apropos should work.

Hmmmmm.... 

Regarding my work on the new non-SexLab animation pack descriptions. AND... as it pertains to unique animations.

 

If there is a unique animation (MF) and I write a MaleActor_Unique-this folder and files, I'm looking at this and thinking I also have to write a corresponding FemaleActor_unique-this folder and files in order to have the descriptions for the unique animation when a FEMALE player character is involved.....  

 

right?

Not in the mod now. Are you also considering resetting your SexLab stats/diary as well? Because Apropos at a certain point references the skill level in the three areas to determine virginity. Before SL accurately records non-virginity, Apropos keeps track of its own virginity status on each actor. Currently when the actor ceases to be W&T tracked the stats are left at level 1 ("Tight"), whereas virgin is level 0. I could provide an MCM option so when tracking ceases, levels go to zero, but still SexLab will not consider the actor a virgin anymore unless you reset the diary page.

 

As long as the animation has a Oral, Vaginal or Anal tag, then W&T will be recorded. If an animation does not have these tags, no W&T impact is made.

You probably don't understand the behind the scenes nuances. I chose Slavetats because it was a way to get to my goal quicker. I honestly didn't want to write the Netimmerse Override calls myself, and Murfk had written Slavetats in a way that other mods could use it as an API to apply tats to an actor. I'm sorry that choice has caused you problems with ECE/pretty faces. I'm probably not going to change it anytime soon because it is working for most people, and I have a ton of other stuff I'm working on right now.

 Noone forces you to use RM. In fact I use ECE + NiOverride + Apropos + Slavetats
